New Jersey Nails & Spa

I have been going to NJ nails since it opened 5 years ago. I was going to different nail salons for a while. when I seen this new salon had a grand opening I made an appointment. I cannot say enough good things about this salon... Tammy is beyond fantastic, she truly puts takes pride in her work! The salon is very clean and a pleasure to go there. if you want beautiful nails this is the place to go. I am extremely happy every time I leave there. all of the nail artists are great! you will not be disappointed! They are very experienced. I will be a customer for life!!! She treats you with the utmost care.

I went in looking for a dip manicure and it became very clear to me that nobody knew how to do dip nails. I was sat with the lady in the front at first and then was moved to the man in the back. I have gotten dip nails for a very long time and he did not do anything remotely close to what I was used to. He ended up painting the dip onto my nails like you would do for extensions. My cuticles were not cleaned up and now have dip sitting on the edge of my nails. Two nails have chipped, leaving one ending up breaking. It was pretty expensive in my opinion too. Will not be going back.

This place is so unprofessional you make an appointment you go on your time they don't even acknowledge you when you open the door you're staying in front of the store for like 10 minutes before one person acknowledges you it's a husband and wife and the whole entire salon people are waiting and they don't even say how long we will be seen.... the place reeked there is no ventilation while I was there at least two customers came back, saying all their nails broke.. so rude.. save yourself the trouble and don't go

Sam nice place a little difficult to fine, but Han does a beautiful job on my nails great shape lots of choices and colors.

I went to NJ Nails for a regular manicure this evening. It was clear the nail technician was annoyed that I wasn't getting an expensive service and she completely did a rush job on my nails. It's standard protocol to soak nails in warm water and apply a solution to cuticles before trimming them, but the technician decided to skip this and just trim my dry cuticles without softening them in any way. As a result, she made a deep cut and my finger is now infected. This deliberate decision to skip a step and cut corners was completely unprofessional and truly careless. Due to this poor service, I won't be returning here again.

EXTREMELY RUDE AND POOR SERVICE!!

I had an appointment at 3pm waited an hour to get my service started. My pedicure chipped the night of, I asked to come back to get it fixed but Tammy was extremely rude and said that she does not have time for me and that I was supposed to come in on another day. GIVEN THE FACT THAT I HAVE A FLIGHT AND I AM TIGHT ON TIME.
I said if you can't do it, that's fine just refund me my money. She said "no refund for you". TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE!!!

It is not my responsibility to figure out her schedule, she was supposed to accommodate for what has happened; instead she was rude and was not helpful. In addition, Nail Clipper WAS NOT clean and sanitized, THEY USE THE SAME CLIPPER AND ELECTRIC NAIL FILE on all the customers in the midst of a pandemic.I did not comment, because i was in a rush after waiting over an HOUR to get my nails done.

Overall, terrible service! my family and I won't be coming back to this place again.

First, I make an appointment everytime and I still wait 30+ minutes and they never acknowledge this or apologize. Second, it is the shortest pedicure and third there is no massage included. Not worth your money or your time. Plenty of other nail salons on Route 18 that do not triple book and give a much better pedicure.

I've been to this salon a number of times because it's close and convenient.

Today is the last time.

Knowing that the salon tends to have a wait time for walk-ins, I called in advance to make an appointment for a pedicure. The woman assured me the time I requested was available and took my name to secure the appointment. Or, so I thought.

I arrived a few minutes early for my appointment and found a decent line for services. I told the woman sitting at the first manicure chair, Tammy, my name and that I was here for an appointment. Without looking at her appointment book, she told me to check in and have a seat. After waiting for some time and seeing that there clearly wasn't a tech available for my pedicure, I asked how long the wait would be for my appointment. She then announced to the entire salon that since I came late for my appointment, that I would have to wait with the walk-ins.

To be clear. My appointment was at 1pm. I walked in the door at 12:53. I was not late. I was acceptably on time.

So I glance at the appointment book. My name isn't in it. The appointment was never made. To cover herself, I was made to look like I wasn't capable of arriving to my services on time.

After a 22 minute wait, I was treated to a rushed pedicure complete with cold water, a painful cuticle work, no massage, and all the attitude you could want. The gentleman working on my feet wouldn't address me and instead took to slapping me in the leg when he wanted my attention or needed me to move. So relaxing!

Come here if you want. They do an ok job. You won't get an infection. But the disrespect you'll get is on another level.

Called ahead to still have to wait for my appointment, Under staffed , and had multiple other people waiting as well. Needs to schedule people apart from each other .
