Next Level Cleaners

Alan was extremely polite and courteous! He constantly kept me informed regarding arrival and job completion times. I had hired Next Level Cleaners to clean the apartment I had just moved out of, since I needed to do a carpet cleaning and figured I would just have somebody clean the whole place so I could reclaim most of my security deposit. The place looked great after the job was done! They had a couple tough jobs like the toilet drain and tub floor (those things get dirty), but from what I could tell, they got it as clean as humanly possible. When I completed my move-out walk-through, management seemed extremely pleased with how clean the place was! The price was also quite reasonable. I had some other quotes that were so expensive, it would have been better for me to clean nothing at all and take the hit to my security deposit.

I recommend these guys! The entire experience was painless and efficient, just the way I like it.

While the relationship with Alan and his staff has been on good terms, it appears this business has staffing issues. A few days back, I was getting chemo treatment at UVA in Charlottesville, so I was not at home for the cleaning. I phoned Alan the owner to alert him that this cleaning was important, as we are scheduled for a photo shoot. When I walked into the back door of my home, it was evident that the cleaning was sub-par. I sent the owner a few photos to prove our point. Unfortunately, this happened once before. However, this time, the owner was actually part of the staff that came to my home. Upon thorough review, the house was not thoroughly cleaned. When I politely addressed this issue with the owner, he made arrangements to just send one person back, but we requested to schedule a *full cleaning,* as what was done did not represent the cleaning service we had from them in the past. The owner refused, and his attitude was unprofessional. This is extremely disappointing, but with constant turnover of staff, the consistency is just not there.

The man who we had an appointment with refused to reschedule when we found out the water was not on at the house in question. He verbally threatened us and was physically menacing (standing close, bowing out his chest, etc.). We had to pay him $75 to "break the contract." I would not recommend this outfit. They are grifters, incredibly rude, and have no problem physically intimidating an older woman. This is not a good business. Steer clear of them.

These guys came in and worked quickly. I had a deep clean done, and they cleaned some places I hadn't even thought of. They were more than happy to make adjustments if needed, and they were good natured and friendly while they were here as well. They're hard workers, and I gladly recommend them.
