What do they use for pedicure foot soaks? Is it one of those tubs that gets drained and refilled? Or a bowl that can be emptied out and cleaned?

They use the plastic bags to line the tub attached to the chair.

Kristen R.San Francisco Bay Area, CA013Mar 22, 2024it took me so long to find a great nail salon in Marin. Most people would stare at me blankly when I said that I wanted an almond shaped nail.
Nj nails were the only nail salon that delivered what I asked for and their work lasts. They are always so friendly, helpful, and accommodating. At my last appointment, I wanted a brown color they didn't have so they helped me find two colors we could mix together to get the result I wanted.
I also had a nail break while shopping at target and gave them a call, and they told me to come right over and removed my full set for me (it was past time).
Great quality. Great people. I hadn't had a full set in over 15 years (I've been doing gel), and now I'm in love with the extensions.

The nail tech and front desk woman were both nice and good customer service and cleanliness, hence the 3 stars. But my nails did not come out anything like the photo I showed the tech. I zoomed the photo in and corrected her multiple times (pointed out that not all nails were the same, as she first did them all the same) but to no avail. I immediately went next door to Target and bought polish to cover this $40 manicure.
Jul 1, 2016Previous reviewI got a full set of acrylics and I'm happy with them. She made sure they were the shape I wanted and they look great. I will be back for a pedi for sure! It seemed like pedis are their specialty. I would definitely recommend making an appointment before hand, they are very busy. However, the entire time I was getting my mani, the woman doing them was also answering the LOUD telephone every 2 minutes, charging people at the front, greeting people who walked in and set their appointments up. She didn't try to engage in conversation with me at all, next time I will just bring headphones to block out the loud phone and give me something to do other than stare at the wall. They would benefit from having a receptionist to answer the phones and take care of walk ins and such. Their work is amazing but that's about it. At least with the woman who did my nails. But I must say, their decor is beautiful and clean and bright. Good work, not good service.

I went here for a regular Gel Pedicure and it cost $80! This is not including all the pricey options on their pamphlet that they try enticing you with. I know everything is beyond expensive now, but really??? The quality of the pedicure is good but not blow my mind amazing. I will be doing my homework and look into other places. I'm hoping this isn't the normal price at other nail salons. Geez!

Aug 18, 2023Previous reviewAbsolutely stunning ombre acrylics today. I told the owner I was testing out looks for my wedding and she spent over an hour on my nails, asking me for feedback for every fine detail and replicating the picture I showed her. I had tried another salon in the area a few weeks before for my wedding trial and they didn't even come close to comparing. There's a reason they are the most highly-rated nail salon in Novato. They are simply the best! Salon is also very clean and updated, with easy parking in my favorite spot in Novato (Vintage Oaks).
Jan 24, 2023Previous reviewBeautiful nail salon with plenty of room. Lots of nail color options and treatment options! Lisa was very friendly and did a great job on my toes. Prices seem very high for the area ($40 for a regular pedi or $65 for a gel pedi) but the quality is high as well. I got a deluxe pedi - my legs and feet are both super soft now.

That's a major best peeve of mine and it's super rude. They were even mopping on tile floors. When people have flip flops on? Super dangerous
They could have waited until people left at 530p (closed at 5p).

She arrived a few minutes before me & was almost done while I sat with my feet soaking for over 20 minutes. The staff was rude & unapologetic. Since we were having lunch together, I didn't want her to wait for me an extra 45 minutes.
I left with prune feet -nothing else.
