North County Window Tinting

My husband has been coming to North County Tinting for a couple of years to get our cars tinted and and get audio equipment installed. They are very careful and precise with the work they do which shows that they care about the value of their work. He loves it every time and if there's ever something wrong they are quick to make it right. The prices are great! This is the best shop for car audio and tinting in North County.

If you value quality of work dont go here at all, there apparent 1 sub installer thats inbetween shops dosent care about his work, sloppy install ripped my rear seat cloth because he rushed the amp mounting, which also caused my amp to be damaged than ruining my sub, please if you want quality work go else where. thanks for wasting my money yall fucking suck. GO ELSEWHEREEE

Honestly, these guys were referred to me by my brother-in-law. He gets his tint done there, and they always do a great job. Was my stuff functional yes. Was it done correctly? No. I had a light bar, backup camera, new Sony radio installed. Everything worked, but they literally cut an oil line and had to fix it. Which ruined my plans for the entire day because it took them over an hour to fix the line. They then proceeded to do a terrible job with the trim installation and the wire management as seen in the pictures. The brake release isn't even seated properly and gets stuck every time so now I have to fix that too. I was probably better off doing the work myself.

I had to repair the brake release by cutting back part of the trim and making some space. Took a hand saw and cut back some of the plastic on the grill to even it out.

And the only reason I took the truck back was to get the electrical for the light bar fixed exposed with no zip ties and just electrical taped the connections together.

I am very upset by the quality of work and the attitude of the employee who did the work (I didn't get his name). He didn't apologize and kept blaming me and trying to act like what happened was ok and his work was ok. He said and I quote "I was rushing to get the work done so that's what you got." Yeah thanks for the rush work.

Will never come back or refer others to come here. Stay away if you value your hard earned money!

Took my car here to get windows tinted on my brand new 2022 truck. Not only did they leave my truck filthy from all the lubrication they used to install the film but I had to bring it back for a hair that got between the film and window on the driver window... understandable as long as they fix it. They say to bring it back the next morning to get it fixed and yes they replaced the tint but looks like they cut the film too small. Instead of replacing the piece off their mistake they literally took a SHARPIE to my window to color it in, I'm guessing hoping that I wouldn't notice! What kind of work is that??? On top of that they give insane lead times for tint, like 6 hours. So I'm sitting here in the lobby waiting for them to fix this sharpie tint purposeful mess up and the only thing I can do is wait another hour for them to fix it, again... this time hopefully with no hairs or sharpie. I would not bring any additional car here in the future, I'd rather pay more at an more reputable tint shop. This is the 3rd car I've brought to them and will be the last.

Hi I'm a 31 yr old pregnant amputee woman. That went to a North County Window Tinting in Oceanside CA. To get an audio system done to my Toyota Camry. I'm currently a medical assistant and had saved up to get my dream system. I went to North county window tinting Dec 23 2023. To get my audio system done and 3 weeks later I blew out (the system stopped working) I called the shop and they told me they would "fix it" I went and they "fixed it" only so it can blow out again about 3 to 4 weeks later. I called them and let them know that this was not ok and that I would need my money back. Meanwhile I took my car to two other places to get different points of view of why this happened and both places let me know how much of a horrible job North County Window Tinting did. Not only horrible but dangerous for mine and my unborn child. The wiring in the hood of my car was not placed right risking for for the wires to set on fire with the heat of the motor and bursting into flames while I'm driving. I contacted the shop that did this to my car and they said they can't give me my money back only fix it. I told them I didn't feel comfortable or safe letting them touch my car. They gave me the owner Alex number because he said he would talk to me. I tried calling him and texting him only to be ignored by him. I was in a terrible car accident where I lost my left leg in 2012 so knowing that I was risking being in another accident while pregnant as well is very terrifying. I don't know what to do to get my money back. The total of what that shop charged me was $3,300.00 plus now that I've gotten quotes to repair the damages they did to my car will be $1,200.00. I went into further investigation and this shop has been doing this to plenty of people and never answering or fixing the issue. I work very hard for my money and it's hurtful to see how people can be so cruel and take advantage of that. I have audio text and tried calls to this shop. As well my receipt and the cost of repair for everything they did to my car. Court proceedings are also on its way as well. I hope no one goes through this because it is very bad and dangerous putting people lives at risk like this.

Used to be a good honest place. The work is good and i used to bring my vehicles here. Tried bringing my car with a simple wire that had simply snapped in half and was quoted 80$ and told the installer would he be there tomorrow when the "installer" who has worked on all my cars was right there. they didn't even check out the problem or ask what it was

This beautiful work came from the hands of Alex. He also did my speakers the day before. Alex is very accommodating and will work with your schedule. He is very personable and I highly recommend him for speaker installations and vehicle window tinting.

This is my 6th vehicle I've brought here to get it tinted, I'm now installing car alarms on my vehicles. These guys are very professional, friendly and polite and prices are reasonable! I definitely recommend coming here!

Albert and his staff are beyond accommodating. I came in and hour early for my set appointment and they get took me no problem. They were so pleasant to speak with. I highly recommend!
