Northbound Treatment Services

I was at Northbound for 71 days, of course it was hard but at the end I did not want to leave. Compared to their competitors, hands down the Best program I've been to and have heard from others who have gone to 20+ centers around the country and Northbound was the best program. I owe them my life.

First of all, they lie about their location to make it sound like it's nice and intestine. In reality it's in Santa Ana. I was going to transfer to another center and they lied about where that was too. It was an hour and 20 minutes away from where I was. These people are not honest stay away.
In addition, when I went to pick up my car that was at one of their centers. My car had died so I needed to charge my phone so I can call AAA. They refused to help me.

I have repeatedly tried contacting these uncaring people. When my son was kicked out during an extremely hard withdrawal, he was told to leave. They kept his belongings after repeated attempts of contacting them.
This "campy" was so big it is impossible to get the individual care necessary.
For family members, it was extremely difficult to get info about your loved one.
Luckily, we found a place where he successfully detoxed...need a professional staff trained, especially when someone is detoxing and at their absolute worst.
The fact that after multiple attempts to contact them and no calls back-I will continue to post until we are at least acknowledged.

As a family member I can honestly say that the staff here truly care about the clients and provide good programming to assist people through detox, and the trauma that they've been through.

Oh and for those who said there's no communication ...Codependent family members don't help the situation. They are literally trying to save your family members life.

When you call, they promise you the world. but theyre all the same, worse actually because for a second, you believed in them.
but then, they kick you out and keep your belongings and medication you just paid for and throw you out to the street.

I attended this program for over 90 days to get treatment for addiction. This program is absolutely phenomenal they took care of all my needs as far as treatment groups outside groups acknowledging addiction triggers and so much more. My case manager Mary and my therapist Eric we're truly awesome at helping me, as well as the group leaders Byron and Beth and Freeman.. The whole staff and crew was exceptional, especially Mr.David Gates and his awesome assistant Cherish who were very instrumental in helping me with all my needs that were above and beyond the groups and the therapy. Hats off to them for helping me with all my disability paperwork and paperwork regarding my workplace..(Truly Appreciated)... I would definitely highly recommend this treatment facility if you are ready to put in the work because it only works if you work it.. I really learned a lot with understanding my addiction, triggers, and dealing with life coping skills. They gave me awesome resources and continued to support throughout my 90 days and also through my discharge and discharge plan..Thank you again to Northbound treatment facility for what it has done for me, I am truly humbled and grateful for it..(The Journey Continues) (One Day at A Time)

Just leaving after being here 53 days & feeling AMAZING. My life is forever changed in the most positive of ways. The staff is what makes this place so dear to my heart. I look forward to visiting as an alumni. Seriously, I can give shoutouts individually but every single one of the employees are precious to me.

Horrible place. Do not go there. They are understaffed, staff lie and all they want is to fill a bed. Run for your life.

When I went to treatment Michelle and Taylor were apart of my clinical team. They helped me through so much of my issues and I wouldn't have it any other way. They are amazing! David gates was was also awesome. He was able to take care of my FMLA and EDD Paperwork on time and in a very professional manor. I'm grateful for the experience I've had at northbound.

If you are looking for a rehab center in California, Northbound should end your search. I am not in recovery, but my best friend and brother have struggled with addiction for the past year and a half. I heard of Northbound and reached out to learn more about their programming. I ended up helping them to admit into a residential treatment program. It's been four months since they successfully completed the program, and I am so happy to say that I now have my favorite people back in my life - the true and best version of themselves.
