Northwest School of Music

I admit I haven't been a student here very long, but if anything changes, I'll edit my review accordingly. Here's what I have to say about the experience I've had: I have David Price as my teacher, and I am utterly grateful for his instruction. He is fantastic--always involved in every step of the lesson, playing along with me, giving me directions as well as examples of what to do, and he's just a down-to-earth guy who's friendly and kind. The owner, Kath, is sweet as can be, and every single person I've met from that school has been helpful, friendly and polite. The school is clean; the environment is welcoming; the instruction from my teacher is second to none, and I've had four teachers, counting him. I am very happy with everything I've experienced so far. I am excited to see how I grow as a violinist over the coming months and years.

We came to Northwest School of Music two years ago, after having a parent recommend them. I love that they offer so many different instruments and even voice lessons in this location. With several teachers to choose from for piano we signed up with Sarvar because he had an opening. We have absolutely loved having him teach our son. The school itself is very organized, on-time, clean, and very well managed. Communication is excellent between the front office and the parents. I'd recommend them to anyone!

My 7 year old started her second year here playing piano. Kathleen, the owner, is great with answering any questions, concerns, scheduling requests you have, in a VERY timely manner. The studio is clean, on time, and very professional. The teachers really care!

Off all music schools we've attended, NWS by far has been the best. Kathleen is always on top of everything - I don't think I have ever met a business owner as organized as she is!
My son has been taking drum lessons with Kirk since 6th grade. This school is well-structured. NWS has my highest recommendation!

We had such a wonderful experience at Northwest Music School! My son has been taking guitar lessons for 3-4 years there, and I only have great thins to say about the teachers and the administration! Kathleen is amazing, exceptionally organized and very accommodating!
This is a great place to learn music, it offers varieties of instruments for all ages and it's structured really well!

I started taking ukulele lessons with Thomas McGregor (don't worry, he plays every instrument so you're not just locked into ukulele) in November 2015. Eight months later, I recorded an EP of songs I wrote. I never thought in my life that I had it in my to write my own musical compositions, and now it's a passion. I love the way this company handles the business end of things, feel that their lessons were a great value compared to other music schools nearby, and I especially am happy with my teacher.

We were blessed to have David Pencil as our piano teacher. He is a consummate professional and an exceptionally good teacher. To say that we were pleased with him would be an understatement. My daughter learned and progressed so much under his tutelage. Not one minute was wasted during his lessons. He will review the music with your child until he believes that they understand all the nuances of the music. Unfortunately, we decided to transfer our daughter to a piano teacher closer to our home, but Northwest School of Music will always hold a special place in our hearts. Kathleen and the staff are also very kind and helpful! Thanks so much!

If your kids are considering to learn music this is the place to be. A very welcoming staff and Kathleen is very accommodating ,kind and warm to one and all. Kids have a hangout room too where they enjoy reading and movies. Very well kept place and has a welcoming vibe.

NW School of Music is wonderful. I have been taking piano lessons from Hope for several years and can say without a doubt that she is a fantastic teacher. I am adult pupil and really appreciate Hope's guidance and instruction. The school's staff and director are extremely professional and helpful. We love this school! my son is taking piano at NWMA since 2010. I cannot say enough positive experiences we had at this school. Their teachers have been very motivating and patient with my son. The teachers make the lessons fun and exciting to learn for kids. I Love Kathleen and Scott they are so kind, always very professional. Their kindness towards all the students and parents really make this school extraordinary. Kirk is the best teacher my son ever had; although, We never had bad teacher at this place. We can tell that Kathleen and Scott really put a lot of time and effort to bring the best of the best to this school. We love the family-like atmosphere that Northwest School of Music provides and would definitely recommend it to anyone.
