I've had nossa on my list for awhile ago and came Friday night to try it out. the inside is separated with a bar area that's open till 12 and the restaurant that's open until 10. We sat in the restaurant for around 3 hours somehow just talking and eating all the food. our waitress was amazing as well and so helpful throughout the night. we walked over to the bar area after they closed and sat in there until closing getting a few drinks with some friends who joined us. my friend that came with me was from Brazil and she said the entire meal felt very homey to her! Which made me happy cause I recommended this spot lol.
now for the food: the meats were cooked perfectly, the chimichurri was sooooo good, I wanted to dip everything in it. the bread and coquettes were delicious and we ended up getting another order of each! crudo was melt on your tongue fresh. the coconut rice and beans were also very good. mixing the chicken, rice, beans & chimichurri all on the plate made the perfect bite.
an amazing spot that's worth checking out!Helpful 3Thanks 2Love this 4Oh no 0 - 82075Mar 5, 2024
Love this place! Would totally come back. The service is great, our waiter was nice and helpful.
We were able to get a table outside and didn't have to wait thankfully. But would highly recommend getting a reservation as it gets booked and busy.
All the food was great, my friend and I got skewers and beans and drinks to share and everything was delicious.
I think this place is totally cute for a date night or a nice outing with friends and family.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Feb 19, 20241 check-in

This place has been on our list for a few months now after discovering it on social media. We came here on Valentine's Day after I made a reservation a week prior for outdoor seating (indoor reservation was not available for prime dinner hours when I looked).
Their outdoor seating is ok. It did have heat lamps which was nice, however I'm not the biggest fan of sitting in the parklet barrier patios which have you sitting like 5 feet from zooming cars on the street. For some reason I was expecting either sidewalk seating or a back patio. I should have done my research.
Our server was friendly and the timeliness of everything coming out from drinks, to apps, to bigger plates was perfect. Nothing rushed or slow.
We did really enjoy our cocktails which is why I pushed my initial review from a 3 to a 4, however I found everything to be fairly overpriced. For the two of us, the cost was well over $220 with the tip. It was nice that we got to try some different foods, but the portions often were tiny for a high price point. I understand the location being in Los Feliz and LA in general, but this is just more so of a warning/disclaimer.
I enjoyed the Pincanha steak. I thought the steak sauce that accompanied it was really tasty.
The biggest disappointment to me was that I was under the impression that this place has *live* Brazilian funk music every Wednesday which is why after dinner we walked inside to see if we could grab a drink and check it out, but when I asked an employee, she said it was just a vinyl record. Not sure if this was just for that night, or if I misunderstood, but I just felt like that didn't really make this place all *too* special in the end.
For the price point, I'd only stick to this place for a drink or two and move on.Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Sep 11, 2023
Had a nice dinner here; sat outside with a girlfriend one evening and split a few items. I'm familiar with traditional Portuguese food more so than Brazilian food so I couldn't help but compare them
We ordered 2 pāo de queijo, and I wish we had gotten 2 more. They were fresh - warm and soft with cheese baked perfectly throughout the bread. Honestly I liked these more than the Portuguese variants I've had which usually include a hard cheese.
The grilled pea salad was probably my least favorite of the dishes. The ricotta and peas were nice, but the greens were massive and included a lot of stems. Felt like I was chewing on a full mint sprig constantly.
Ordered two skewers to split between the two of us, too. The crispy chicken thigh and the linguiça. The chicken thighs were great, crispy on the inside and very hot and juicy. The linguiça was a bit underwhelming. I love Portuguese linguiça, which tends to be spicier and honestly, heftier. I was a little disappointed seeing the tiny little weenie that they skewed up. It was still a similar flavor profile, but not the same for me.
We ordered a couple of the caipirinhas too - I had the hibiscus which was very nice and fresh. Finished our meal with their seasonal watermelon with tajin. I honestly expected it to be a drink so imagine my surprise when they brought out actual watermelon.
Service was a little slow and the meal was definitely more expensive than it had any right to be, but I'm definitely looking forward to coming back and trying the picanha or the coxinhasHelpful 3Thanks 1Love this 1Oh no 0 - April F.Los Angeles, CA31910483Mar 28, 2024
I always love trying new restaurants!! Thanks fellow Yelpers!! I had checked out the menu before coming! For drinks we did the caipirinha, the Michelada with and the hibiscus lemonade. All your yummy! For food we did the Calamari, the Butter Lettuce Salad, and for the Skewers we did the Steak, Chicken Hearts and Eggplant. The calamari was mostly lettuce which was unfortunate but the flavor was good and the aioli was fantastic. The butter lettuce salad was a good portion but a little minty for my daughter's liking. I thought it was great! Last, the Skewers were great (the eggplant was a little salty) but the portions were SO small for the prices. That was a little disappointing. The place is super cute and trendy! Service was fine. I probably wouldn't come back but I'm glad I experienced the place.

Ok I'm a regular here and love everything about this place. Drinks and service are always 10/10. That being said, I can't believe I've been here so many times and never had their branzino!! Today we went and had the branzino, oyster mushrooms, and coconut rice... insane. So sad I waited this long to have these dishes. 10000% a must, especially as summer is around the corner.

I am more than happy to show appreciation for exceptional service with a generous tip. However, our dining experience was overshadowed by small portions at high prices, a server who appeared disinterested and seldom smiled, and the unexpected 20% service fee added to our bill without prior notice or choice. This left us feeling dissatisfied and unlikely to return in the near future.
Quite a shame as we just moved to the neighborhood.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Alberto A.New York, NY01122Mar 11, 2024
