After out meeting we decided to go to lunch. I was yearning for Thai food which everyone agreed upon.
We all met again at the restaurant and were promptly seated. They have a lunch menu with two pages to choose from. A difficult decision!
Two ladies chose the Evil jungle Princess, one chose green curry and two of us chose Pad Kee Mao a wide noodle with a host of veggies and protein of your choice. We all chose mild hotness as the child can singe your tongue.
It wasn't long before our dishes arrived and the smells were divine.
The pad kee mao had a delicate flavor baby corn, carrots and mushrooms. The Thai basil gave it a slight licorice flavor. A nice blending of seasoning.
Everyone really enjoyed their meals. Service was wonderful. Staff leave a bottle of cold water at the table for your use.
They do close at 2:30pm and reopen for dinner at 4:30pm. I imagine they get the restaurant back in order, eat their meals and be ready to go when they reopen.
      Free street and restaurant parking.
      WiFi is available.

Will never go back again after coming here for years.
My sister and I went there tonight 12/29/23 at 6:15p to celebrate my Birthday as we have always done for years. We waited at the podium in the front for about 10 mins. It was a little busy ,so we waited patiently. Another couple came in while we were waiting. The server came to the podium skipped past my sister and I then asked the couple behind us how many in your party. The couple immediately said these ladies are ahead of us. The server then tried to seat us at a small table with one chair. There was a booth right next to the table.I asked if we could be seated there instead. At first she said no because they were busy. Then I asked her, where were you going to seat the couple behind us. She immediately said yes you can sit at the booth. She did not seat the couple at the table she tried to seat us at ,but instead took them to a larger room in the back.
After about 2 minutes of my sister and I trying to process what happened we decided not to eat there. We passed the server on the way out. I told her , her behavior was rude and unprofessional and we were long time customers that will never come back.
We found another Thai restaurant less than 3 miles away with great service and food.

12/9/23: highly recommend Nunthaporn's. Why not 5-stars? They did not have sticky rice or Thai custard for dessert (yes, we went to another Thai place for this) :-) .

Four of us stopped in Saturday at 4:30. Cute little place that we discovered is bigger than what we saw - as we walked out after dinner down the street, we saw they had a whole second dining room.

They have a small parking lot immediately behind their place, but there is also parking out front (if you want to brave Main Street), and also plenty of free city parking lots southwest of their building.

The young gal who took our order was very nice, and repeated our orders as we gave them to her and even did so again after we all had ordered. The food did not come out quickly, so cool your jets if you're in a hurry, but it also did not take overly long to come out - it all came out hot and well presented. The gal who delivered it was different and she did not seem all that happy to be working.

We did all enjoy our food although we were all surprised at lack of spiciness to the dishes. Point of note, yes, we did all say mild, but at other Thai places mild still is pretty darn spicy (for us). Nunthaporn's was lacking in that kick so when we return, we will definitely go for more spice. Maybe when we return, they will actually have dessert.

This locality is not usually our hangout spot but as we were here for some work and it was lunch hour we decided to explore a Thai restaurant around. The restaurant had decent reviews so went ahead and gave it a try.
The parking can be a little difficult as it's street parking with a meter. Seems to be a busy area. There was ample seating at the restaurant and no waiting time.
I ordered the vegan pad Thai and absolutely loved it. It was just how spicy I wanted it to be.
My husband ordered cashew chicken with brown rice. Initially he asked for fried rice instead of brown as some Thai restaurants in the valley offer it as lunch special but he was told that this is not a Chinese restaurant by the server. I don't know why but the way the server felt offended made me giggle.
Overall a nice place offering good food. I will definitely visit if I'm in the area

I wanted to check out Nunthaporn's Thai Cuisine, so I asked my son and his boyfriend to join me for dinner so off we went!

We arrived on a Tuesday evening and was greeted right away; everyone was so friendly, and service was great!

After checking out the menu I knew I wanted to start off with spring rolls and a Thai tea, after that I ordered pad Thai with chicken for my main.

The Thai tea was perfectly sweet, and it was pretty to look at until I blended it haha. The spring rolls didn't last long, they were a very tasty app. But the pad Thai was some the best Pad Thai I have had in a long time, so dang good. Everyone ordered something different and loved their dishes. I honestly can't wait to go back to try more of the dishes.

If in the downtown Mesa area go give them a try!

This is a small hole in the wall place in downtown Mesa. What it lacks in elegance it more than makes up for in both great food and friendly and efficient service. My parents come to this place often and I can see why. I was first struck by the friendliness of the staff. They truly enjoy what they are doing.

They have a diverse menu and I am sure you can find something you want. They have Vegetarian, Vegan, and Gluten free options, and of course thing for the Carnivores of us. We decided to go family style which was great so I could try more of the food. My only regret is I lack the time to try more menu I tens before I go home.

The food was so delicious. They also have large portions which was great because I missed lunch and needed a large dinner.

So if you are in the area and are hungry then you need to eat here.

If I could give 10 Stars I would! Hands down THE BEST Thai food I've had. I ordered the Cashew with white rice, it came with pineapples in it mmmm mmm so good, sweet and flavorful my husband had the Red Curry he didn't add spice as it comes medium spice and we both scraped our bowls clean. The chef is the owner, a woman in her 70s that is passing on the recipes and cooking on to her grandson, I can't wait to come back!

Shrimp & cream cheese spring rolls! $6 glasses of wine!
We found this place when searching for a dinner spot before a show at the nearby Mesa Arts Center. There was a short wait, and we were seated in a booth. The decor is minimal, and I can't recall anything of note. Their "bar" was a shelf on the wall near the kitchen with bottles of liquor on display!

We shared the shrimp spring rolls, which were delicious! The sauce accompaniment was great too. We split the pineapple fried rice with chicken entree, and it was plenty for 2. It was good, tho I felt that the raisins were a weird ingredient. We each has a glass of white wine, which was reasonably priced.
This was a great place to enjoy a tasty meal before a show!

Here's a video. I don't need to say much. The tofu was soaked, the box was soaked. It was all squishy. I only wrote this because it made the the minimum characters to 85. They told me to bring my card up to get a refund and lied also. They wanted me to bring the food back. Here's the food after I put it in the oven to dry to dry it out. It didn't work. So much for having a nice Thai spot next to the house to go to multiple times a week.

Most fresh Thai food! Between 5 of us, we ordered a lot! And all of it was fresh & beautifully done! Service was a bit off bc they looked short handed and it was packed! They were really nice & everything was hand made. Love it there! I'd go back in a heartbeat - wish you were in phoenix! Worth every minute of any drive! :) thank you
