They had some cool old stuff but it was dark and kind of hard to see. It looked like something happened to the building --a leaky roof or something, lots of junk piled up in a back room. Very dark, hard to move about, unorganized -- all of these things are fine if you like to pick like I do, but if you want a Neiman Marcus experience, you have the wrong place. Advice: Bring a flashlight.
The stuff they had was mostly furniture, vintage chotsky, and old costume jewelry. I was looking for more rust and older architectural or industrial items and did find a couple cool things, but it wasn't what I had hoped for.
The store hours are apparently whenever they feel like opening the place up. I have no idea when to try to go by there. Way to run the place, people!
The person that was there was much too chatty for my liking. I would have purchased more had I had more time to shop and less time listening to the owner chatter on and on about unrelated things. A good salesperson LISTENS to their customer in order to be able to help them. They missed out on selling 4-5 items I would have liked to purchase, because they just wanted someone to talk at. I felt drained when I left.
This being said, I would still go back and I'd be more forceful about getting prices on the items that I want and I would do a better job of cutting the conversations short. The prices are great, but you have to ask on each item.
Bring cash. I don't know why places like this don't take credit or debit cards. Again, they are missing out on bigger and more sales because of it.
I think this business has a lot of potential. It's kind of a shame the place isn't getting the love and attention it needs, because they could do so much better.Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - James L.Sacramento, CA0241Oct 7, 2012First to Review
Very poor customer service and is quick to blame customers for the business's mistakes.

I'm really disappointed with this company. I called on Sunday, Sep 30 and talked with Paul to say that I wanted the two corner cabinets they advertised. I was told they were at a cook out for the day and I said that I definitely wanted them and to please not sell them. But due to my work, I couldn't get by there to pay for them but I asked them to please hold onto them for me until Saturday because I really wanted those cabinets. Finding two cabinets alike is not that easy. I then emailed my cell and work phone numbers so they could get in touch with me. I called yesterday to say that I was coming by. Paul said they were sold on Friday and since there was no money down on them, "she" sold them. I expressed my dissapointment and was told that there was a lot of inventory and that he would call me back in an hour and he would check to see what was there. Well, guess what? No call. I guess a person's word means nothing. You would have thought that a sign would have been placed on the cabinets annotating sold. You would have thought that someone would be true to their word and call. I was true to mine. I was coming by to pay for the cabinets and take them home. If there were any questions, they had my phone number to call. But, instead someone else walks in and they sold the cabinets right out from under me. If this is how they want to conduct business, I want no part of it and I won't step foot in either of their stores. I have posted this so that you know what kind of business this is and the kind of people who run it.
