Still a great place to eat. Quality of food, good service, full tummy's.
Have been coming for a few years. Watched how they adjusted to all song and dance the pandemic brought. Odeh's stayed true to their quality and service.
I am a HUGE fan. Still trying new dishes! So glad you're still here Odeh's!Helpful 2Thanks 1Love this 2Oh no 0Business owner information

Dec 23, 2019Previous reviewWe have been to Odeh's several times trying new dishes. Have always been impressed with the flavor, textures and full tummies. They are getting busier and their new "Meal Prep" orders are perfect for my work schedule. Have gotten several people from work hooked on Odeh's as well. Hidden jewel. Don't keep them hidden. Love to see them grow.
Oct 30, 2019Previous reviewOMGoodness... this place is a Jewel! Mediterranean Scratch Kitchen, the food had flavor, zest and texture.
Here is the Bottom Line Review for those of you who don't like long reviews:
Eat Here!!!
First: the interior... very simple diner, kitchen tables and chairs. Simple pleasing pictures on the wall. Dining area is small and cannot hold a large group comfortably. If you want to feed a large group I encourage you to cater your party.
Second: the owners are absolutely delightful... Very personable, kind, passionate and Genuine!
Third: the food, we had the combo shish kabobs and salmon special (see photos). Wanted to try all the meats as possible. the chicken kabobs were Tender with a capital "T". Full of flavor, spices and juicy. Excellent. (My husband did not like all the spice). I loved it! The steak meat was mildly seasoned (no salt which I 'd) and the texture was tender and easy to chew. The rice is full of flavor and I could eat that everyday! YUMMAY! BONUS** got a FULL pita with fresh homemade Taziki sauce. Excellent!!!
Hubby had the Salmon (Wild Atlantic) and it was tender and delicious. Definitely worth ordering when they have it on special.
Odeh has brought some of his favorite recipes from the other side of the world to bless and share with North Carolina. Thank goodness we are here to enjoy this cuisine.
We will be back again and again and again!!!
Great food, Great prices. Enjoy! - Apr 22, 20241 check-in
The star rating and placement in Yelp's Top 100 does. not. lie! Heavenly hummus, crunchy, succulent falafel, crisp and fresh salads, this is the Mediterranean food of our dreams. And I couldn't stop eating it, which is the case whenever I encounter the best of the best.
Our group of four shared a Middle Eastern sampler and then, like a fool, I thought that I'd be OK with just one or two falafel but by the time I took one bite of it from our shared sampler, I was plotting a way to steal the rest of them. The thing is, in many restaurants falafel is best enjoyed in small quantities because they are so dry and pasty. Not at Odeh's. Trust me, not at Odeh's. So if you're on the fence, get an entire order for yourself. As Edith Piaf once said, non, je ne regrette rien... but I'm sorry, Edith, I do, I do.
Let's move on to that dreamy hummus. I love when it's tahini-forward, which makes it rich as can be and Odeh's come through for ya here. I love hummus on salad rather than have that pita fill me up (more room for that chickpea dip of the gods), so I was in my glory here. Add plenty of harissa, side of those decadent rosemary fries and I hit bliss status.
Portions are more than generous, service is sweet (one big happy family here) and I cannot go on enough about the value for such phenomenal food.Helpful 9Thanks 2Love this 5Oh no 0Business owner information

Feb 17, 2024Previous reviewSuper delicious food, made to order, properly priced great value.
Friendly folks, family atmosphere.
The only unsolicited advice to owner is continue to focus on the Mediterranean cuisine on your initial dishes, I get the need to diversify and attract other segments but we don't come to Odeh's for pasta and pizza although maybe we should try it.
The shawarma, the gyros, the skewers, the tabbouleh , oh! the rice is incredible.
And the baclava !!!
Excellent service!

My goodness! This has to be my greatest takeout ever! I recently visited Odeh's and ordered mostly appetizers. It was suggested to me to give entrees a try. Omgoodness, Omgoodness, Omgoodness! I ordered the trout it came with 2 sides so I got the rice, absolutely delicious as a take out order! The bruschetta, delicious! 3 pieces with feta, fresh pesto, tomatoes, droolllll! Prime rib sandwich with the pasta salad, and the baba ghanoush(like hummus made with eggplant). This is the first restaurant pasta salad I never had to add something to it to enhance the flavor. This pasta salad was tangy, sharp, creamy from the pasta, just good. Now on to the trout, firm, moist, seasoned trout, on a to-go order, reaches it's destination and remain the delicious trout! I don't know how else to describe it other than wow!
As I waited for my order, I indulge myself with a white sangria, very refreshing! I noticed something I didn't noticed in my first visit, this is a family run restaurant. This is demonstrated by the flow of the restaurant. Lots of laughter and support among staff creating a very inviting restaurant.
I will definitely be back perhaps this same week!Helpful 1Thanks 1Love this 2Oh no 0Business owner information

Mar 28, 2024Previous reviewI FINALLY ate at Odeh! I have been wanting to try this restaurant since becoming a Yelper and viewing all the fantastic pictures. My husband and I arrived around 7:00, they were packed. There was a 10 minute wait so my husband and I opted to eat at the bar which happens to be first come first serve.
My husband ordered a beer and I the Red Raspberry Sangria. The beer was served cold in a frosted glass and my sangria was refreshing. I'm not a fan of red but the combination of the juice and fruit made the tartness of red wine crisp and enjoyable. We ordered ahi tuna, bruschetta, and calamari. Everything was so fresh! I loved the fact they used a thick slice of bread for the bruschetta. I've only had it on small baguette size of bread. They also gave two different cheeses on the order of bruschetta, fresh mozzarella and feta. I prefer my ahi tuna with a little more sear it remain true to a good flavored fresh ahi tuna and maybe add a crunchy element to the dish would send it over the top. The calamari was good and signature. These are the largest pieces of calamari I've ever had. I prefer the bite size, flashed fried calamari to the onion ring size they offer.
Overall were we satisfied and decided to visit again to make a different selection from their massive menu. I enjoyed sitting at the bar but this seems to be the place where staff gather to talk. The bar has a totally different vibe from the restaurant. I wish the decor matched the elegance they present with every order.
My husband agreed this would be a place where he would consider bringing clients for lunch. Overall, I recommend and will return soon! - 111182946Feb 20, 2024Updated review2 check-ins
What do you say about your favorite restaurant EVER?! A piece of me wants to keep this place a secret out of concern that it will always be packed when I want to come! Casual environment with food of all kinds. The food has a Mediterranean vibe and it is all so flavorful and will make you want more no matter what you order!

Apr 26, 2022Previous reviewOH MY ODEHS!!!
I have been to Odehs to eat in restaurant a few times, but more often than not we order take out. It's been a while since we ate in and I cannot believe the changes!
We were torn between LaFiesta, and Rixsters. Why? Because we wanted a drink after a long day with dinner. We went to La Fiesta to find out that they have no margaritas on special on Taco Tuesdays! So we left to go to Rixsters.
As we walked out, I asked if Odeh's served alcohol and my husband said I think they expanded, let's check!
What a fantastic surprise awaited us inside! Odehs has expanded into the next space and now includes a full bar!
I highly recommend dining in here. I their food is amazing, and always so fresh... and now you can cheers over delicious Mediterranean food!Aug 10, 2021Previous reviewI cannot say enough good things about this place. We found this place during Covid, I think it opened right around the start of lockdowns. We ordered take out at least 10 times in a year, it really became one of our go to places. Tonight was the first time we haven't eaten in the restaurant.
MIND BLOWN
It was so much better there than it is at my house, and I loved their take out! That are in the process of expanding and doubling their space.
If you like Greek food, run don't walk to Odehs! Lee in mind, Odehs is MEDITERRANEAN food and not Greek, but it is sure to be your new favorite place.
My fiancé completely cleaned his plate!
My Chicken Shwarma was so much food that I ate until I thought I would explode. Almost every table was full and they were doing take out orders all evening.
We are not alone in our love for Odehs!
The restaurant is clean and they have won all kinds of Triad Awards since opening.
GIVE THEM A TRY! - 747165Feb 17, 20241 check-in
I discovered Odeh's from the Yelp 2024 Top 100 list, and boy have I been missing out! My experience tends to be that the places with subdued, unassuming exterior appearances have the best food, and this certainly holds true. I was surprised at the size of the dining room which you don't immediately see upon walking in, but there is ample seating, along with a very attractive bar. The environment was fairly loud, but not so much so to be disturbing to the meal.
We were seated as soon as we arrived, even though it looked busy. All the staff we interacted with were friendly, and people were working hard and fast. Orders were taken quickly, food and drinks came fast, and overall I had a great impression of the service.
What's most important - the food! Oh my goodness, it was stunning. We started with an appetizer off the featured extra menu page, called Arancini. These were rice balls stuffed with parmesan cheese, fried, and served with a marinara sauce. They were AWESOME. It was very big pieces which took multiple bites, nicely crispy outside, and with a great flavor. I wasn't expecting the marinara sauce and can't really think how to describe it, other than than to say it was spiced (not "hot" spicy, I mean like the ethnic spices on the Shawarma.) It was unexpected, unique, and paired really nicely with the rice balls.
I decided to order the Mixed Shawarma platter since it was named in multiple reviews, and I heard several people at adjacent tables ordering it. The shawarma was well seasoned, cooked perfectly, and came in a huge portion. The accompanying rice was some of the best I've had in recent memory, and it came with a very nice salad too! My wife got the Shawrma pita, and while I would personally describe what it was wrapped in as a tortilla (thin) and would have preferred a traditional thicker pita bread, it still had a good taste. Shout out to the rosemary fries as a tasty side!
Cocktails were unique, presented very nicely, and had a good taste. They came fast, and I felt prices were fair on them. Despite being stuffed to the gills from the appetizer and big dinner portions (we took more than half home), we couldn't leave without trying dessert, and I personally loved the Baklava Cheesecake. I've never seen a cheesecake like that, and it was great. We also ordered a "small" salad to-go for lunch at work the next day, and it was so massive we split it between the two of us!
tl;dr - The food is amazing, the staff are great, prices fair, servings huge, and this will be a new regular place for me!Helpful 2Thanks 1Love this 1Oh no 0Business owner information

Holy crap, I've found a new must go place.
I have to admit, the 100 top places to eat made me go here, but eating here makes me want to continue to eat here!
We came in around 5:30pm on a Friday and it was just starting to get busy. We were seated right away and the atmosphere was lively! The harsh overheads were a little like whew in the beginning but immediately forgotten.
We got two mocktails: a blueberry elderflower one and a citrus elderflower one. Very nice! Also the hummus with tomato, cucumber and olives: this is where the party started. The hummus was so smooth and flavorful, not overwhelmingly tahini and the pita! THE PITA! So soft and the perfect fluff. I immediately told my husband 'do not let them take the plate' because I was ready to clean all that hummus off (they didn't try). We both are vegetarians so did falafel shawarmas, a side of fries and a side of pickles.
Let's start with the shawarma! The falafel was perfection: fluffy and mixed with well treated veggies, served over rice that was so deliciously flavorful: some veggies, some seasoning! I skipped a lot of my rice because I had MORE PITA!! The Greek salad was bomb: crunchy, fresh and no weird salad pieces you sometimes get in places. I definitely rocked my pickles with the falafel and hummus and pita....just wow. I have no idea how they make them so perfectly crunchy and tart, but I highly recommend for any entree. The Greek house dressing=perfect.
Fries were great and tbh we ordered too much food, so we did a bit of calculations on stomach capacity and the fries were left behind. That being said I'm already planning my next order and fries are on it so take it as you will.
There's also a piece of baklava cheesecake waiting for my on the kitchen table; couldn't pass it up, and couldn't eat it there.
The place was on a wait by the time we left, and tbh super worth it. The owners (I think) came by to ask how we were and also to ask about adding a table to the table next to us, (we were totally fine!!) but what a kind thing to do!
Already planning our next trip, and I'm counting the minutes until I feel ready to have that cheesecake!!Helpful 4Thanks 2Love this 3Oh no 1Business owner information

So I've been wanting Odeh's for more than a weeks. It's the only Middle Eastern restaurant I will eat at these days. Took me forever for different reasons.
Of course they were just named to the Yelp Top 100 Restaurants 2024 - so I drove over for lunch!
First time sitting in the new (or not so new) dining room.
It's spacious and welcoming without being stuffy. Full bar and the service is spectacular plus Brandi is still baking and preparing her amazing desserts!
Well earned and deserved spot on the Top 100!
Go now! Great for takeout and catering too!

Sep 27, 2019Previous reviewWow. The Triad already as an amazing array of choices in Middle Eastern food with varieties that span from North Africa, to Turkey, to the Arabian Peninsula to the Indian Subcontinent and everywhere between.
So for Odeh to come on to this scene and nail it is amazing. We have another great choice and it's on my way home from work!
Just within the Israeli and Palestinian borders, you have a wide variety of preparations of the same food. Clearly, the preparation at Odeh's is northern region, near the Sea of Galilee. Turns out Odeh lived in the town adjacent to where I once lived - the world is small and food makes it smaller and allows us to break bread.
Speaking of bread, the pita--it's fresh, delicious and complements the Middle Eastern Sampler I just enjoyed. You get to choose 5 items and it offers great value.
I chose the Tabouleh, the Baba Ganoush (prepared with vegetables-they also offer a creamy Tehina based Baba Ganoush - so good and smokey. I added some Tehina and Shattah. The Hummus was great - not too thick and with the included tehina, I added some to thin it. The falafel balls were filled with sesame seeds a nice touch I haven't seen in the U.S. before. The Tabouleh had tomatoes and cucumbers diced--perfect!
Everything was so fresh, tasty, and filling. The service is counter (I called in a take out order) and very friendly. The place was filled for lunch and the health score was great--especially considering they just opened their doors.
The prices are excellent (great value as I mentioned above) and so is the food. High Point has a new winning restaurant and the Triad has yet another amazing choice for Middle Eastern food. Excellent vegan and vegetarian choices as well. - Mar 21, 2024Updated review
You can really never go wrong with whatever you get at Odeh's Kitchen. Went tonight for dinner with a girlfriend and decided to try some of their new sides tonight! The green beans were seasoned so well and the Mac and Cheese was done so perfectly! Service is always so wonderful. It's no wonder they are one of the top restaurants in the area!

Jan 26, 2024Previous reviewTonight we decided to try pasta at Odeh's and we were once again amazed by the quality and flavor of our food! I got the pesto pasta with chicken and my hubby got the linguine alfredo with shrimp. The pesto sauce has so much flavor and the chicken is so good! My hubby's had huge shrimp and lots of it! We are excited to try more dishes here!
Nov 5, 2023Previous reviewIt is always a great dining experience at Odeh's Kitchen! Everything is always fresh and the portions are great! Some of my favorites are the baba ganoush and the beef shawarma, but honestly you cannot go wrong with what you get here! It is all so flavorful and fresh. The service is phenomenal. Also if you have a sweet tooth, their desserts are worth it as well.
