Fast food orders at their door/window.
There's a glass case of their available poke selections. The signage has a quick and simple guide on how to order. Type of rice, 1 or 2 pok options, and toppings.
I ordered 2 types of poke and an order of poke bombs. The bombs are mostly rice.
The ginger poke is a local favorite. It's different from the usual spicy tuna poke. The ginger has a kick to it. I would recommend it.
This was much fresher than the poke I got at Foodland. I definitely would come here for quality and the great service.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Kimtastrophe M.Irvine, CA036Dec 13, 2023
Tasted really bad. I couldn't finish it. Expensive. Not many toppings to choose from for the poke bowl. I would not revisit.

Sushi rice was hard and I found a fish bone in my poke bowl. I sent a private message to the business on IG, with no acknowledgment.
I went here based on all the positive reviews I read, unfortunately my experience was different.
I hope to come back someday to update this review.Helpful 3Thanks 0Love this 2Oh no 0 - 5616682173Jan 12, 2022Updated review
My brother has deemed this place as his all time favorite poke place. And I can see why! From my previous review to now, their poke is very consistent in terms of freshness and flavor. The spicy ahi, omg, sooo good. I recently tried their cold ginger ahi which was the hype when this place first opened up, and I gotta say, it's really good. Definitely gives off the cold ginger chicken vibe that my family makes!
Since my last review, there was never a line but now, ALWAYS A LINE. Sometimes goes all the way to Starbucks. ugh. But fret not, the line goes by very quickly. Maybe 10 minute wait?
Definitely still one of my top favorite poke places on the island!Helpful 6Thanks 0Love this 5Oh no 0Aug 28, 2020Previous reviewI heard a new poke place opened up in Manoa (which is a ways out for me) and how much my friends loved it that I decided to try it... multiple times.
It's located next to Andy's Sandwiches and Starbucks, across of the Manoa Marketplace, which conveniently has a big parking lot for you to park at. The shop itself is small. Prior to COVID, there were maybe only 3 tables with 3-4 seats for seating? But now, they've moved their poke fridge to the door where you easily order and pay.
I've tried their Spicy Ahi, Kilauea Fire, Japan Deluxe which contains Miso sauce with Ginger and Shiso leaf, and Wasabi Furikake Ahi. Weirdly enough, I still haven't tried their Cold Ginger Ahi which they're actually known for... But I guess their other flavors lured me in. Their Kilauea fire was spicy but didn't really have a satisfying flavor (but I will give it another try one day!). The Japan deluxe was really unique! I liked how it was a little on the sweet side and the ginger gave it a kick. But the ones I really liked are their spicy ahi and wasabi furikake ahi. The wasabi furikake was creamy and had a kick to it, but it wasn't overpowering and still gave a really yummy taste. They also have toppings whenever you order a bowl (made the meal 2x more delicious). But each time I've gone, their ahi is suuuuper fresh. Not once have I been disappointed.
Definitely next time, I'll give their Cold Ginger Ahi a try. This place became one of my favorite places to get poke from on Oahu. It's really out of the way but if you make time for it, you won't ever regret it! - Lance N.Kapolei, HI67103238Nov 11, 2022Updated review
Second time here.
Wanted to give their ginger scallion poke a try.
Did a split with half and half shoyu ahi.
This one left me disappointed.
I'm not certain but I'm pretty sure that for the shoyu poke and the ginger scallion poke they don't use the fresher fish they have.
The shoyu and the sauces are used to mask the color of the fish.
It definitely wasn't as fresh as when I got the limu ahi (Hawaiian style)
Pretty disappointed.
Don't think that I will go back any time soon.
If I need a poke fix I will drive 5 min down the road to Yamas and get their limu ahi. Always fresh there!Helpful 1Thanks 1Love this 1Oh no 0Oct 23, 2022Previous reviewFirst time here
Good experience
Fresh fish
Good prices - considering the prices of fish nowadays
Flavor
The Hawaiian style flavor just did not hit the spot for me. It was almost under seasoned. But that's where the freshness of the poke counts and helps.
If I had to choose I would spend the little extra to head over and get the limu poke from Yamas Fish Market. But that's just my opinion.
Next time I'm goin try the ginger scallion poke. - Sierra S.Phoenix, AZ0912Aug 4, 2023
I heard the rave about this place prior to my Oahu trip and while I don't think it lives 100% up to the hype, it's pretty good! It's definitely more of a classic poke joint with a variety of flavors. If you're into a ton of toppings and leisurely ordering this may not be the place for you. Other than that, fantastic poke!

Cheaper, more, better. Looking for a poke place? This is IT.
Has a lot of unique sauce options at a great price. Tastes very fresh and sizes of poke are bigger than other stores.
They also has a good lb options if you have any rice or salad at home as well.Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 7Oh no 0 - 483166472Oct 20, 2022
Hands down some of the best poke on the island!!! The first time we came here was 15 min before closing so there weren't too many poke options left, but the plus was that there was no wait. We were so blown away by the quality + seasoning of the poke that we were dying to come back again!
The fish is here suuuper fresh and candy-like. They also make their sauces in house and it . My absolute favorite thing here is the ginger ahi, which is the perfect combination of mashed ginger+scallions+fish. I have never had ginger ahi made like this anywhere else...it reminds me a lot of the sauce they serve with Haianese chicken (super simple yet fragrant flavors). Also a big fan of the shoyu!Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Raymond M.Wahiawa, HI142240297Mar 17, 2023
Solid spot if you are looking for some great quality poke. Popped in on a Friday afternoon, luckily it wasn't packed. Got the regular white rice with spicy ahi and cold ginger poke. Spicy ahi is 5/5 and the cold ginger is 3/5. You can park behind the building or across Starbucks by Safeway. No indoor seating, so you will have to enjoy the food elsewhere! Make sure yall add extra tobiko and green onions.
