From Buffalo to Syracuse for tattoos?! Crazy right?! Not so crazy once you've met the shop owner Penny.
Shop talk first. Penny just took over this space and made it her own. It is spacious and welcoming. The shop itself is extremely clean and held to a very high standard.
Penny, let's dish about her. Her talents exceed far past any expectations. She listens to your ideas and wants and will work with you to make sure your vision comes across. Her number one goal is to make sure each and every one of her clients leaves happy. Many people tattooed by Penny become repeat clients of hers. That speaks for itself!
Syracuse area or not, Old Kings Head tattoo is the place you will want to check out!

This review is solely for the unprofessional actions of the woman who was at the front desk. I came in for my appointment with an artist that was apparently being let go at that moment. The woman then immediately told me every detail of why, without me asking.
If you want a place that will let someone go when they have an appointment for right then, and for the reasons that were shared (that were not even a good reason for immediate release) this is the place.

My review does not reflect on the artists work, but on how the staff will treat you if they do not like your artist. It was very disappointing after having so many people recomend the shop.

Had an appointment a while back for 3 small tattoos that my husband and I were going to get. Got an email from Penny the day of our appointment saying she wasn't "comfortable" doing them. No notice, no compromise. Put a $40 deposit down that we never got back. Would never give her or them my business again!

Penny is an awesome, talented, artist who is very passionate about her work. She does amazing work, and is not satisfied until the customer is very happy with the tattoo they chose. She has a great personality, and no matter if you are getting a small piece, sleeve, etc. Penny puts forth 100%. I would highly recommend the King's Head Tattoo Co.
