Checked this place out today and was happy with what I found! You exit at Guting station, exit 2. The only reason I'm docking a star is because the cleanliness of this restaurant was average. When you order, you have to go up to the counter and tell them what you want! There is English speaking staff there. I tried the pesto mushroom burger and it was super filling and yummy. It came with a couple of potato wedges and what I'm assuming was a cashew cream dip! The party itself was perfectly seasoned and had the perfect seasoning. The raw thinly sliced onions were the perfect thing to cut through the richness of the burger. I also go the raw banana cacao cheesecake to go and it is seriously so good. The crust is made from coconut flakes and the filling is what I'm assuming is mashed bananas, chocolate, and silken tofu maybe(?) haha I'm probably wrong. But I'm definitely not wrong when I say you won't be disappointed trying this guilt free treat. The service is excellent and friendly.
Update: upon coming here almost everyday since my first visit, I have to give it five stars. Super delicious and consistent food that I find myself coming back to! Also it's pretty clean! I must've come on a bad day. Loving this spot.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0Jun 28, 2017Previous reviewChecked this place out today and was happy with what I found! Taipei can cook up some great vegan food when it wants - unfortunately my 'Sunrise Pesto Sandwich' was a miss. The yuba egg was rubbery and tasteless, there was a mere paintbrush's swipe of pesto, and the bread was dry. The mushrooms might have been able to save it had they had any other flavor other than vinegary.
The smoothie ('Body Boost') was... I mean, it was 80% chia, so the best way to describe it is crunchy. I had a legitimate fear at some point that I was going to block my throat with dry scratchy chia seeds. The part of it that was not crunchy was just vaguely lime-scented foam. I had to seek out tofu pudding immediately after this to soothe my throat.Helpful 2Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 1 - Mary P.Taipei, Taiwan56794232Aug 1, 2018
Close to where I live now in Taipei, it's a short walk from Guting MRT. I'm glad that Taipei is getting more of these types of restaurants. This is a vegan place though I'm actually not a vegan - I do appreciate the option of trying it out. My friend and I decided to come here after not seeing each other for something that felt like years to me (not really haha). It's small, but nice and cozy if you can find a place to sit. I really enjoyed my meal as I could feel like it was made with quality ingredients and care, and also because I really like hummus and burger formed meals. I would say it's a bit on the pricey end esp if you're like me and are used to the cheap local foods you can get in Taiwan; it's because speciality restaurants always come with a heftier price tag in Taipei. I'd say come when you feel like you want to try vegan food, be healthy, or just want to treat yourself!

Tiny but yummy vegan place perfect for lunch ! Only four small tables so if you are in hurry this is not your place unless take away.
Food is delicious, all plant based and vegan
We tried diferent bowls and they were delicious
Can recommend especially Bert Ball Bowl with ginger lime beet balls, wakame, ginger kim chi, grated carrot , bean sprouts and cilantro with miso tahini dressing ! Pure joy and tasty !
Hopeful Hummus Bowl is good for hummus lovers with roasted garlic hummus, beet noodles , grated cucumber , purple cabbage, alfalfa sprout
Finally try Zestame mushroom bowl with balsamic mushroom, wakame , garlic km chi, alfaalfa sprout and purplencabbage with cashew creamHelpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Alana H.Zhongzheng District, Taiwan10413Apr 22, 2016
The coolest vegan cafe I've ever been to. Great selection of raw juices and awesome food menu. If you're on a health kick this place is the place to come to. They've even got raw desserts that are just as delicious as any non vegan dessert. The staff there are so friendly and it's just all around a cool place to eat. And who doesn't love drinking out of mason jars!
It's located a few steps around the corner from Guting exit 2. Check it out for sure!Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 1Oh no 0 - Max W.Los Angeles, CA2294Feb 12, 2018
The food's good, but compared to the plethora of great vegetarian/vegan restaurants in Taipei, Ooh Cha Cha is more expensive, and the portions are small. I was still hungry after my meal.
Sidenote, unrelated to my score: this is more American/European-style vegan food. It doesn't feel super Taiwanese.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Eileen C.New York, NY3631024795Feb 7, 2017
So healthy!!! All vegan!!! A little pricey, but pretty good! There are so many vegan food options and detox juices & smoothies. Despite the lack of a spacious atmosphere, would definitely come back to try other things on the menu.

Came to Ooh Cha Cha plant based cafe for a good wholesome vegan-American meal in a city filled with plenty of delicious but seldom gluten free bistros and did it pull through my friends!!!
My beau and I shared
The bacon cheese burger: LOVE the horseradish-great touch, good fries but relatively bland dipping sauce, not a huge issue
The roasted beet hummus bowl: would suggest adding the chickpea patty for extra protein-yum!!
& the lime cheesecake: concise slice for a nice price!! (My bf came up with that one)
Overall will def come back to ooh Cha Cha when craving foods that remind me of home.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Kay L.San Francisco, CA1513Sep 23, 2017
The place is very clean and pretty. I love the decorum. I ordered the meal set: the ricotta chickpea burger and the acai twist smoothie. The burger was pretty good. It looked cute as well. It had a unique flavor. My drink did not arrive. I finished my burger and still no smoothie. I asked them and it turned out they forgot it. They apologized for the mistake and they quickly made it. They were nice enough to upgrade my drink to the larger size. The smoothie was quite delicious and it came in a fun-looking glass mug. It wasn't sweet and overpowering like other smoothies I've had.

Interesting menu. Good quality ingredients. Waiter was prepared to change ingredients for meals and juices. Meals arrive quickly. They do take credit cards as well
