Owners are very personable. Food is made of freshest ingredients and taste amazing. Superb service. Family/friends highly recommend.
Note: Take-out only at this time. It's still worth it.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 2 - Marco P.Dallas, TX015Apr 16, 2024

The food here is amazing and customer service even better! Since I've found this spot, I've been multiple times and I have yet to be disappointed.
The gyro plate is a must try! The meat is tender, rice cooked perfectly, and veggies fresh. I also added a side salad to be able to make my own gyro. The portion size is plentiful and you'll definitely have enough for leftovers. I will come back here time and time again for amazing food!Helpful 5Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 2 - Binh N.Grand Prairie, TX012Dec 6, 2023
First time being here since I was in the Cedar Hill area, which I don't come all that often.
I checked reviews and oh boy it doesn't disappoint. I got the gyro lamb platter and the meat is so tender and juicy and the vegetables are just to my liking.
I also got the beef kebab, I enjoy this but wish it was a bit softer, maybe it was because we got it to go.
Overall, I would choose this as my go to Mediterranean place, but the only problem is that it's too far from where I'm at. I highly recommend to anyone that wants some S tier food!Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Mel H.Miami Beach, FL02Jan 24, 2024
Stopped in for lunch. Had the Beef Kafta on the lunch menu. My guest had the same. Got two small tubes of poorly seasoned ground beef. Maybe 3ounces of beef total. A green salad and rice (rice was pretty good). Also, tzatziki sauce was very poorly made. No dill, no cucumber flavor. Baklava was $8 for two very small pieces. In total it was $42 for a very sub-par lunch served in styrofoam containers to go.

Orabis offers a nice variety of Mediterranean plates in an informal atmosphere. The host/owner is a most welcoming gentleman and clearly enjoys his restaurant and customers. The place offers a long "bar" of wine bottles, no written wine list as it obviously changes practically daily. You are free to walk over and look at the offerings, it's definitely a quirky thing and just ask the owner about prices on any given bottle. Wine is also available by the glass and you get a very "generous" pour. The food was so fresh and tasty. The chef brought the food to the table. That was a great touch. The saffron rice with the gyros was so light and the shaved lamb and house made sauce was outstanding. Please visit you wouldn't be disappointed.

Wow, taste buds had a party!
First, to set expectations the place is to-go only. I was unaware of this, but no problem, put my order in and had a glass of delicious wine while I waited. I sparked up a great conversation with the owner and the wait just flew by.
The food was very, very authentic and delicious, and freshly prepared. The lamb was cooked to perfection and the salads were flavorful and refreshing.
A 10 out of 10!Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 1Oh no 0 - Kyle R.Fayetteville, AR6156Dec 9, 2023
Food was excellent and staff was very personable. The chicken and lamb kabob plates were delicious. We will for sure be coming back!

I just called to place an order and I was shocked on how rude Bruce was. I asked him if the gyro comes with tzatziki sauce and he said " you haven't ordered from here before." I told him it was over a year ago, so I didn't remember. Then I asked does the gyro come with feta on it and he told me I should go look at the menu online and call back. I told him never mind, asked his name and hung up. I ordered from here twice during Covid, and the woman who took my order was very pleasant. I'm never rude to anyone when I order food or dine out, so I don't patronize businesses with bad customer service. I've worked in customer service and I know how customers can be annoying, so I make sure I'm not one of them. Also I'm from New York, so I know the difference between sarcasm and rude, and Bruce was both.
I couldn't figure out how to respond to Bruce's response, so I edited my review. Bruce please do no lie and say I said it was too expensive. I didn't even ask you the price. The last thing I would complain about is the price. I don't ask for discounts and I support local businesses in the community that I live. I tip even better( even if the service is bad) I just won't patronize the establishment again. The fact that you just lied and said I complained about the price makes me think you are racist. Bye Bruce I'm taking this to Facebook!Helpful 3Thanks 2Love this 0Oh no 5Business owner information

Irrelevant where you come from.
you keep adding items to your one gyro order and asking about price, and you said is too expense, so we advise you to review the menu.
