Out of the Blue Celebrations

So pleased that Out of the Blue Celebrations was recommended to us by Megan with Wedding Bells and Seashells! It was perfect for hosting our son's Rehearsal Dinner. Beautiful place for pictures. The food was delicious and the staff attentive and courteous. Elisa Sciallo, the venue Event Manager was a joy to work with on the details. Couldn't be happier with how everything turned out!

Quite a beautiful are in Jupiter Florida. My brother was married here hence the visit. It's an exclusive members only restaurant unless you are having a wedding. I had to show my ID upon entering the upscale homes and golf course.
The wedding was beautiful. Overlooking the marina made it so beautiful. This restaurant has won people's choice for best wedding venue for the last 5 years. A beautiful location for a wedding.

You can disagree and claim you don't recall all you want. Of course you don't remember I wrote this review 3 months ago! All of this did actually happen over the phone with you. I did not jump on Yelp to quote false statements you made. I don't really care about all of the reviews on different sites, I care more about how you treated me. A professional would handle a complaint in a more positive manner. Not with accusations of me lying and you being defensive against a complaint about you. I wish you the best and hope you treat others more kindly in the future and if you don't, an apology goes a looong way!

I do not have enough space for me to rave about Out of the Blue and the staff and certainly I would need a whole book to write how wonderful Elisa is as the Event planner. From the second we walked into the venue over 2 years ago to plan my daughters wedding we felt welcomed and at home. Elisa goes WAY above and WAY beyond any and all expectations I had for not only the wedding day but all the days leading up to the wedding. My daughters wedding had to be postponed for over year due to Covid and we tried several other dates that were cancelled until we finally did the year push back so needless to say Elisa has had plenty of time to deal with me and my stress and she was never anything but polite caring and patient and became my sounding board when I was not sure if we did everything we needed to do before the big day. As the Mother of the Bride the most important thing in my life was to give my only daughter her dream wedding and because of Elisa and her staff that is exactly what we did together.
The Venue is Beautiful, The Bridal room is huge, The view is Amazing so bottom line if you are looking for your perfect day then it must include Elisa and her staff.
If you are looking for a Dj book DJ Donnie Events but only if you want a fantastic party that will be talked about for years to come and I also highly recommend Paul Marino Photography but they will both be getting their own reviews from me so look them up if your interested.

Everyone knows the stresses that come with trying to narrow down a venue for their wedding day. The constant searching for the perfect venue, all the price quotes, food and liquor choices, vendors, etc. can be absolutely frustrating to say the least! Elisa with Out of the Blue Celebrations made all of those fears and frustrations disappear. Elisa and her team on site, along with Paul Marino, DJ Donny and Creative Florals (all their preferred vendors) as well as Doris Italian Market, made our wedding day as perfect as we could have dreamed. Elisa's coordination of everything leading up to our wedding & throughout our wedding day, including the table décor, dessert table, message in a bottle table amongst many others was picture perfect and exactly how we wanted everything! Her attention to detail was spot-on in every way. We had nothing to worry about throughout our entire evening thanks to her and the Out of the Blue team. She even grabbed us right when the sun was setting to ensure we got our sunset photos with Paul Marino at the perfect time. The venue offers so many opportunities for amazing pictures and we loved having our ceremony and cocktail hour outside overlooking the marina with the rest of our reception indoors. Rockstar Dream Team doesn't even begin to describe this venue and the people we worked with on our most special day. Thank you to Elisa, her team, Paul Marino Photography, DJ Donny, Creative Florals & Doris Italian Market again for the best day of our lives!

There's a reason that Out of the Blue has such phenomenal reviews. Everything on my wedding day was absolutely perfect. Elisa runs the venue and she is a true pro. She made sure every last detail was taken care of and I had multiple guests compliment the beauty of the venue, friendliness of the staff, quality of the food, and just overall what a great wedding we had! I owe all of that to Elisa and her staff.

During the planning process I also felt so comfortable. Not once did I feel like I was being encouraged to spend extra money for no reason, nor did I ever feel like any question was a silly one. I also received phenomenal recommendations for preferred vendors and wound up booking every one, which was a great decision! There really aren't enough good things I can say about my experience with Out of the Blue other than I will be forever grateful to Elisa and her staff for making my big day absolute perfection!

***update*** SO Elisa, being very angry that someone would dare criticize her venue, sent me a ranting email about how great she is and how wrong I am (note: no apologizing, no trying to make it better...really shows her true personality.) I've pasted it below for everyone to see. If I had known that Elisa was going to be so terrible, I would have paid more for a less stressful venue.

I read your review on The Knot and was not at all surprised. I would like to clarify a few things, especially when putting something on social media, Out of the Blue and myself deserve to accurate accusations to be posted.

The tasting is $100.00 for 2 guests, you stated $400 to try 4 entree's. I am not sure where the $100 per entrée came from but it is inaccurate.

As far as me stating that we have to be perfect because of social media, I stand by this 100 percent. Our business relies on it and it also makes sure my staff and I are consistent in our service, food and pricing and looing at our history proves correct.

I think much of the tension started when your mom did not show for the appointment and you realized she never paid the 50% payment. It seemed your mom was very unclear as to the pricing structure at Out of the Blue. She stated she was told by you that it was one price of $10,000 for everything including the venue and ceremony. I am not sure where this came from as our pricing is clearly stated in the package and contract.

As far as complaining about the groom's suite, I am not sure why it was not addressed in the beginning of the booking stages. From you email, it seemed to be a big deal but was never addressed before you booked. We did not appreciate the groomsmen bringing in a cooler filled with alcohol and setting up in the back dining room and pouring themselves drinks. Outside liquor is not allowed in Out of the Blue, it is clearly stated in our contract and it is against our liquor license. Something like this can jeopardize our license if an inspector walked in and saw this happening.

If you feel I annoyed you during photos, I am sorry, I am there to get cocktails for everyone but absolutely do not recall interrupting your photos at all and was in communication with the photographer on the timeline. We were gracious by bringing cocktails and appetizers during the photos, this is what we do all the time, the bridal party certainly seemed grateful to received complimentary Champagne and Mimosa's prior to the ceremony. I guess having your photographer leave at 8:00 instead of staying until the end created a lot of tension.

I did chick in with you several times throughout the evening and with your mom as well, as I do with all my weddings.

As for pushing my vendors, yes, I do, they do a great job, your DJ's faulty equipment was not professional during your ceremony. This has never happened with the vendors I recommend and was shocked as your bridesmaid was trying to get my attention during this happening thinking it was my fault. People assume it is the venue providing the music.

You knew the size and layout of the venue, if you did not think it was big enough and complained about the far dining room in your review, I am not sure why you booked us on this alone. Apparently it seemed like a big deal in your review.

It is quite obvious from your review, it was to bash me personally, but it is ok, I have 60 other 5 Star reviews on The Knot alone. These are real reviews and will stand out. It is your choice and right to write what you want in your review, but the inaccuracies are quite unfair, especially when you state the Owners and staff write all of our own reviews. We do not have the ability to remove or change and it would be unethical to do this regardless...after all said and done, in the end I think if you had been more clear on what you wanted and read the pricing more accurately, maybe you would have chosen a venue that better suited you on price and amenities.

I do hope some of the evening leaves a happy memory, as I did receive quite a few compliments on the food, service, myself and staff from your guests. I am confident that I am an excellent event planner regardless of your opinion, my bookings and real reviews reveal who I am as a planner and the results of what I do. Best of luck to you both.

***Old*** So, I wanted to wait a few days before writing this review. I had my wedding here and while the venue was beautiful we had some issues that really strike it down for me. I've put them below for you, but if you want the short version: this is not the venue to use if you'd like to have an easier experience.

*venue is beautiful and gorgeous but...
-does not have a grooms suite so the boys had nowhere to take pictures of them getting ready? Had to take pictures in the reception hall
-ladies can't be in the bridal suite until 4, so if you'd like pictures of you and your bridal party getting ready...don't count on it.

We had our daughter's wedding at Out of the Blue on 3/24/19. We cannot say enough about the venue or the staff. Elisa, the Event Coordinator, (always available to answer all of our questions) and DJ Donny ran the evening like a well oiled machine. From the planning, to the ceremony to the cocktail hour to the dinner service and the party afterwards, everything was taken care of by Elisa, DJ Donny and the staff. We partied like guests, not hosts because we didn't have to worry about anything, they made sure the party flowed and everyone was well cared for! The venue is beautiful, the setting on the the intercostal is stunning, the food was outstanding (5 star) and the service was very attentive. Our guests commented on the beautiful venue and the delicious food. We highly recommend Out of the Blue!

my brothers rehearsal dinner here, it was interesting. Well, not really, it was good and there was much AMBEYANCE in the air. Great place for having a bunch of homosapiens gather and munch on food matter.

Excellent food, beautiful setting, superb wedding venue. I would have a party here in a heart beat. The staff couldn't be more accommodating and sincerely nice! Five stars!
