Outstanding Car Detailing

I have been ready for a detail job on my car for a while now.. I have looked at a bunch of places all over the area but the reviews seem to be hit or miss. Except Outstanding Car Detail. And....they come to you. I don't know how I feel about mobile detailing as it isn't necessary in this case. Let's give them a shot. I sent them my info on the website and Mack called within the hour to discuss my job, price, and availability. It all sounded good and could be done within the week.

To my delight DJ was the detailer that showed up. I say this because he was called out by name on a few online reviews as having done a great job. After initial introductions and a little about what I was looking for, DJ got right to work. I showed him where the water spigot was and that I would be around if he needed anything. Not a lot of reaction about the water, which was odd, but he thanked me explaining that he would be here quite a while.

I left DJ to do his work without a watching eye but I did check in from time to time. I couldn't get it off my mind that a hose never appeared and the driveway showed no sign of being wet. I finally asked DJ about this which is when he explained that they do waterless detail. Waterless was new to me. Never heard of such a thing. DJ educated me that today's cleaners have a high lubricity which allow them to capture the dirt and grime and safely remove it from the surface. I am all for technology but still had my concerns. I guess I am old school. A bucket of water with some soap and a hose just seems more efficient and effective. Oh well. I am open minded enough to let them do their thing.

After about 4 hours DJ was done and ready for me to look things over. This proved to be tougher than it seems with sun in some areas and shade in others. I did my best knowing that my inspection would be inspected later by other eyes. I found some areas that needed some more attention and DJ was quick to take care of it. This was expected as another fresh set of eyes can see things that the first might have missed. After I thought we were good. I accepted the job, paid the bill, and DJ was on his way. I was happy.

Hours later with different lighting and another set of eyes looking we found that things were missed. The wheels jumped right out to my wife as having some missed areas. It became apparent that the harder to see spots when the wheels were in one position were the noticeable areas when the wheel was in another. Shouldn't have been missed but it was clear to see why. The same goes for the grill and all the different area and angles it presents. I understand these are the harder areas to notice but after all this is called detailing and the quality is judged in the details. Over the next two days other small things were noticed. A spot on the head liner that needed more attention, a french fry under the seat that points to some missed vacuum attention. Small things present themselves over time. To be fair, I missed them in my inspection and I did accept the job.

All in all, Outstanding Car Detailing did a good detail job. Do I prefer a soap and water wash and traditional wax? Yes! Do I prefer soap and water to be part of a shampoo job on my carpets, mats, and headliner? Yes!! In the future I will seek out the more traditional methods of detailing. It was nice having them come to me but it is not necessary and can be worked around to satisfy my personal opinions, preferences, and techniques. They make dry shampoo for your hair these days but I think we can all agree that the best thing to do is jump in a shower or bath and get wet with some water, the universal solvent.

Had outstanding come to my house for a mobile detail on my truck. Arrived promptly at 9 which was the time I scheduled. I received a text 30 minutes before from the employee ,Tiffanie, saying she was on her way. She was very friendly and easy to deal with. She spent roughly 3 hours on my truck so I would say the price was very fair as it was in need of a good detail. I reviewed it with her when she was done to confirm it met expectations. It was spotless inside and out. Very pleased with my first experience with Outstanding Car detailing. I will definitely use them again in the future.

Our vehicles look better than when they left the showroom both inside and outside. Sandy is going to work on our boat next and we expect the same excellent results. She is very personable and professional.

When I arrived, the owner asked if I had anyone picking me up. When I said I was just going to wait, he expressed concern, because it was going to take about 4 hours to do a complete detail job. He even offered for one of the employees to drop me off somewhere. I chose to wait & was very comfortable doing so. Periodically, Mack would pop in to give me an update on the progress.

When my car was finished, the first word I said was "WOW!!! Their attention to detail was astounding! The inside glass was so clean that it almost made me dizzy...kind of like when you get a new pair of glasses.

Not only was everyone courteous & professional, but my car hasn't looked this good since the day I bought it. Thank you Mack & crew! You've earned a loyal customer.

Holy moly! I have a new car! It is honestly shocking how clean my car is. After 2 dogs and 2 teenagers, it was a mess. The upholstery is clean, every little space dirt free, and not a single dog hair in sight. (A pet seat cover will now be added) Thank you so much!!

I'm 7 months pregnant with 3 very messy preschooler boys. Needless to say, the interior of my car was atrocious. They were able to get me in within the week. It was $120 for just the interior of my Subaru Wagon, but once they saw the condition my car was in, they politely told me it would be another $50. I thought that was fair lol. My car looked brand new by the time they were done and the leather is now softer than when I got it! Highly recommend!

Needed an emergency detailing after a monster spill and OCD was able to get me in for a complete detail job in under 24 hours! Mack and his crew came out to me and took their time cleaning every inch of my vehicle. OCD went above and beyond my expectations, and I will for sure be using them again in the future! Highly recommend! They're friendly and they did a wonderful above and beyond job on my previously nasty 2007 Mazda. It looks fabulous now!
