We've been in Rome for almost a week and I have yet to have a bad meal. This place is no exception to that culinary observation.
The pasta was phenomenal and made fresh daily. In fact, you can watch the pasta being created from the store front as the chef prepares it in the street window. Speaking of pasta, if that's what you're their for, you can choose from about six different pastas to pair with any of their eight different sauces. My family of four all enjoyed different pastas with different sauces. Even my picky son devoured his plate of ravioli with tomato and basil sauce.
The service here is fast and efficient. The atmosphere is quite and enjoyable but the tables are a little crowded as there is not much seating in the restaurant. Regardless, we were able to be seated immediately when we came for lunch.
This is a great little Italian restaurant and perfect for a family looking to enjoy Italian cuisine.
Enjoy!Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Jennyjoon S.New York, NY2415694Mar 22, 2024
Food is fabulous. Best eggplant parmigiana I have ever had. Incredible. Ambiance is wonderful too. Sit outside if you can.

This place is a must-try!!
It is frequented by the locals, and highly regarded in the trastevere area (the unofficial foodie district of Rome).
The service is impeccable and the food is absolutely delicious!! Everything we tried was fantastic..my personal favorites was the cacio e pepe and the amatriciana (the pasta with meaty red sauce??).
The ambiance of the restaurant, both indoor and outdoor is charming and romantic.
The bathrooms are unisex and are kept very clean.
The dining experience was phenomenal and attentive, and our server provided us with complimentary after dinner shots..thank you!!
And shout out to our food tour guide Anastasiya!!Helpful 8Thanks 0Love this 7Oh no 0 - Oct 26, 2023
We went on a street food tour in Rome and our guide recommended this place as her favorite spot. Since she gives food recommendations for a living, I figured she'd be right, and we had an absolutely delicious meal! The carbonara is amazing and definitely one of the best things I ate in Italy - huge guanciale fan now! The lasagna with short ribs was also a great choice.

Our favorite meal in Rome!
Located in Trastevere which is already such a cute romantic neighborhood so of course we picked to come here for our romantic anniversary dinner!
We didn't have any reservations but we got tables right away even tho we came in around like 9 PM.
As soon as we were getting seated the waitress gave us a glass of Prosecco to start which was really nice.
We got fried mozzarella to start which disclaimer: is not mozzarella sticks like Americans would expect! Still pretty good though.
We both did the "make your own pasta" entree. I chose a stuffed ravioli with pesto sauce which was absolutely delicious. The best pesto I ever had! My husband got fettuccine with Bolognese he loved too.
Ended the night with a limoncello shot...also on the house!
The coolest part was that there's a window outside where you can see a nonna making the pasta fresh!

BEWARE; THIS IS A TOURIST TRAP
Never been more disappointed in a meal. My go to when exploring a city is to ask the locals. Upon asking our taxi driver for his advice he recommended this place which as I looked it up it was a chain. First red flag. But I still trusted my process as I have gotten great reccs from locals in the past. But this was the ABSOLUTE WORST FOOD IN ITALY. Never heard so much English spoken at a restaurant (another red flag) disgusting wine, carbonara that tasted like children's Mac n cheese and lasagna that was barely a step above cafeteria food. I cannot say louder: DO NOT EAT HEREHelpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Dave B.Northwest, Denver, CO15015382540Oct 29, 2022
It feels as if they are just going through the motions.
Not recommendead.
The pasta carbonara sauce was gloppy--not silky smooth. I can make thick and gritty sauce at home.
The pasta amatriciana was OK.
There were no locals eating--all tourists.
While the service was attentive, is was indifferent.
The most annoying element was when I selected our €35 wine. The server brought out a different wine. When I said: "not what I selected"; I was told: "this one is same...we don't have the one you selected". Uh, no, it was not. The one I selected has a 4.1 Vivino rating while this one is rated 3.7. That is very different. Do not try to dupe me about my wine selection.
- mediocre wine list - very limited
- paper napkins
- paper tablecloths
- cheap flatware

Food was decent. We had a server who was a bigger guy with curly hair and he was incredibly rude. service was terrible. luckily we're in Rome so we didn't have to tip but if i had to tip i would give him negative money.

Mostly good experience. Went there with my 5 kids. The only weird thing is the waiter asked me to leave him a tip to "make him happy" which isn't the norm when in Europe.
