I love coming here to get my kerala mango pickle. Saturdays are super busy but the cashiers are quick. Be careful in parking lot.... It gets chaotic. Lots of variety. Great Indian store

Just walking in the door and taking a deep breath I knew I was in the right place. All the ingredients needed for an Indian feast at an affordable price.

A pretty big Indian market. Lots of frozen stuff, lots of cold stuff, lots of dry goods. Tons of snacks. I got a TV dinner and some snacks to take to work. Prices seem a little high, but I'm not real familiar with Indian markets. There were a few household items, some bulk ingredients, etc. Big, clean, well arranged, and handy off of Sawmill.

Haven't really explored the other Indian stores in the area... I usually go to Patel Brothers for all my Indian groceries.
Fresh vegetables and fruits are always good and Better priced than some of the larger grocery stores. During Diwali I was surprised by the amount of stuff they still had in stock - including decorations!
I did buy a few roti's fresh from there and unfortunately they had fungus growing on them. Haven't had an issue since though!Helpful 2Thanks 0Love this 2Oh no 0 - Julie G.Columbus, OH24145337Mar 8, 2019
The best place to go in Columbus for all of your Indian staples.
Huge variety of fresh and frozen products. Amazing prices on fresh produce.
Well worth a visit.Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Suchithra S.Columbus, OH355Aug 28, 2016
Off course it is a good Indian grocery store as many say but their prices are higher. There is another one a couple of blocks down south on Sawmill called Bhavani Cash and Carry by the Mongolian BBQ where you can get the same quality for lower price. I love Bhavani. I will go to Patel only if I can not find an item in Bhavani. Saves me money.
Off course Patel has fresh vegetables and I believe India Grocers across Home Depot on Sawmill have equally fresh vegetables. I even saw Jack fruit, whole or cut to 1 lb pieces as well. I love India Grocers for that.Helpful 2Thanks 0Love this 1Oh no 0 - Dara T.Columbus, OH029Aug 13, 2019
Patel is the best place to buy Indian food and supplies.
This would definitely be a five-star rating, except there are A LOT of check out problems here. I was there once when there was no one servicing the checkout lanes for over 15 minutes in the morning just after they opened. I gave up after that long and went to a neighboring store. I looked in later, and there was still no clerk with the same people still waiting in line. Unacceptable! I never go there on the weekend because there will be at least 10 people in each lane, and most of those people have full shopping carts doing their week's shopping. With that number of people in line, the registers are not all open. Unforgivable!Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Shashi D.Columbus, OH4658136Jan 31, 2016
This is the best Indian grocery store as far as i have seen. Its very clean, Organized, and friendly staff. They have ton of varieties and quality of food stuff they carry is really good.
This is the best Place to buy Mangoes. They are fantastic!
The downside is it can get really busy during weekends and check out lines will be pretty long. The best time to visit is during weekdays!Helpful 4Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Raeanne W.Columbus, OH171320Nov 9, 2018
If you are making an Indian dish, you will be able to find the supplies for it here! Very friendly and helpful staff and totally wheelchair accessible with extra wide aisles.
