This place hands down has the most warm family energy with no ego. The coaches are highly trained and are always welcoming to anyone where ever they are at on their journey. The program directors are super knowledgeable and are committed to helping you reach your goals. Every time I walk through the door the front desk greats you with a smile and I always leave happy. If you wanna start your martial arts journey this is the place to do it!

Unfortunately, as mentioned in my former review, they are no longer requiring folks to wear a mask during class. Although the management was super nice about it when I approached them, they were incorrect in stating that they cannot require participants to wear them. Because this is a privately owned space, they are absolutely able to require mask wearing. I totally understand not wanting to lose business by asking folks to wear them who wont, but you're losing it either way, when someone gets sick or like me, won't come back until there is a vaccine and/or they can enforce a mask mandate. Luckily, I was able to find a bag near some other folks who would wear their masks but with more than 2/3 of the class not wearing them, it created a constant anxiety and I wasn't able to get in a good workout or feel safe.

The space itself is large, bright, open and noticeably cooler than most facilities with plenty of parking. The reason this review is a four is because I have been to about a baker's dozen of classes between the two locations and have found that while the classes are fun and challenging, there is a real lack of instructor on form. The instructors will provide the combos but then just assume people know how to safely or accurately perform the movements. Might be good to remind people how to best perform these combos at the get-go. Currently, people have to wear masks DURING class and they are not offering rentals but usually, there are rentable gloves and wraps.

While their hourly staff was great. Management and their ways of business is shady to say the least. So I signed up for one of their Black Friday deals, the renewal for that part of my membership hadn't kicked in yet and I moved for work and planned to not come back to Colorado. I let them know and they said they would not refund the money on the renewal that hadn't kicked in yet. They reply to issuing a "refund" was they can keep my money on profile for membership until I move back (told them I was not coming back), I just give my money to some other member to use for their membership or give the money to one of their fighters as a sponsor and get a mention before a match. This is absolutely laughable, a slap in the face that they basically STOLE $1,000 from me. I sent a complaint to the BBB in response and they never responded to my complaint so the BBB closed the case. I highly do not recommend going here for this reason alone.

Each coach has different routines, so your body will always be guessing in its workouts. The staff is great as well! Glad I joined!

I started here, out of shape, in my mid-40s and unmotivated by the traditional gym experience. This place welcomed me with open arms. The coaches are amazing and friendly. They've never said anything other than encouraging words, even when I was struggling hard at the very beginning. 7 months later, I'm in the best shape since high school. My doctor has kicked me off my blood pressure medication. I've discovered muscles that were previously hidden, and I'm learning something new every day. I walk in the door and each employee greets me by name. Signing up here was the best decision I've made for myself in years.

The Training Camp / PEAK is an outstanding place to train, whether you're interested in competition-level martial arts, fitness, or something in between. The atmosphere is comfortable and welcoming - it's a happy community with students who are eager to train and learn together. The professors and coaches are knowledgeable, professional, and encouraging.
For beginners to martial arts, the Foundations program is a friendly start to determine whether you're interested in Muay Thai and/or Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu. For those with experience or who have graduated from Foundations, there is a variety of classes available at different levels. For those who just want a butt-kicking, high energy workout, kickboxing has the widest offering of classes and is guaranteed to be a great workout. No matter in what state of body or mind that I start out, I always feel better by the end of every class!Helpful 3Thanks 0Love this 1Oh no 0 - Angelika S.Denver, CO08Dec 28, 2019
My 5 year old son has been at this gym for almost a year now .I am so impressed with every facet of this community! Mr Brandon , Dillion , and Mr Lopez are great w the kids . The director is very caring and attentive. Any issue or concern, which has been close to nil, has always been met with the upmost respect and attention . It's a great community and has helped my son become become self controlled and respectful .
Most importantly this gym is very inclusive - with all types of not only styles of karate , but people . A very accepting and warm community. I'd recommend this place to anyone looking to enroll there child in a class or to enrollment of adults . Great place, great humans !Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Bobby Z.Golden, CO12449Nov 2, 2015
I was originally to interested in going to this place for myself, but when I found out they had a kids program I signed myself and my son up.
For starters, my son is only five but has been in various programs since he was three. By far, he enjoys this one the most, and we have seen the most growth and him since he's been coming.
Coach Tyson is patient, motivating and works at their level. Something many other coaches and instructors have failed to do.
I have really enjoyed the Muay Thai classes, and when my work schedule slows down I hope to attend the BJJ and kickboxing classes as well.
The coaches are great, but beyond that, everyone there is just really cool in general. Everyone is motivating each other and picking each other up when they need it.Helpful 2Thanks 0Love this 2Oh no 0 - Mallory M.Delmont, PA12031May 11, 2020
Honestly I'm so glad I joined. The instructors are beyond amazing and they help you with any questions and any support you need. They are flexible and are even working to make sure we are getting our exercise during the pandemic. Highly recommend peak.

20 minutes waiting for appointment, front desk lied and explained "an emergency meeting" to explain the waste of my time, trainer walks out high-fiving a new recruit and simply says "no emergency appointment, I was double booked." with zero care that I had been waiting, the straight out lying was ridiculous.

Our family has been a part of this gym for over 7 years, since they were in their smaller location on Green Mountain. We love it! There is a program for every single family member, regardless of expertise or skill level. My husband earned one of their first belts proudly displayed on the wall. My son has moved up from Lil Ninjas, to Beginner Juniors MMA, now to Advanced Juniors MMA. He's learned a lot through this program not only in MMA, but in bullying, confidence, and doing the right thing. I've done kickboxing classes there and it's so fun, while getting a crazy good workout in.
