When I walked in the doors and saw grandma at the counter I just knew it was gonna be good. Omgg that peach cobbler was sooo good. It's definitely a taste of home

The food was absolutely amazing. I had the pork chops with cabbage and macaroni and cheese. The food was still piping hot when I made it back to my hotel. I highly recommend this establishment to those visiting the area! The customer service was very welcoming as well.

Stopped to pick up greens, red beans and rice and chicken wings. After 20 minute car ride home the wings could have not been crispier! YUM. Husband enjoyed the greens and red beans & rice. Had shrimp po'boys last time. As good as

This place is a gem that I heard about and I can say I had the whole chicken and it was seasoned to perfection and crunchy sooo good. The mac and cheese was good! The Mash and Coleslaw was stellar the only thing I wish we could have done was dine in but due to the lack of help he is forced to do carry out only. Rick D.Coal Valley, IL02Jan 7, 2024I'm a big fan of the shrimp po boy. Wednesdays is buy 1 and get the second at 50% off. Mac and cheese, red beans/rice and gumbo are fantastic. Once I get my fill of these, I will try the chicken and pork chops. Atmosphere is very friendly!!

We both love soul food so we said "let's go". 1st time here. After staring at the menu for about 10 minutes, and wishing we had a 2nd stomach, I ordered a Boudin sandwich combo w a side of Mac n Cheese. Jr ordered a Shrimp Poor Boy combo w a side cup of Red Beans and Rice. We also asked for a couple of slices of Pecan Pie but they were out (that is a good sign). The mother was at the register and was super friendly and extremely helpful.
All the food is made fresh so it takes some patience for it to get done. If you're in a rush, call your order in ahead of time.
We took our order to go as we knew we were going to eat it on the road on the way home.
The smell that was coming out of the bag in the car was amazing.
The Boudin is awesome. Loved the taste.
The Mac n Cheese should be called The Cheese n Mac. So YUMMY!
Jr didn't say a word while he demolished his Shrimp Poor Boy. Afterwards he said it was awesome. Then he mixed his Red Beans and Rice and took a bite and said "we're coming back here".
The meals at Pee Wee's are made with love.
Great taste!
We will be back.
