Let me try to find the words to express my experience at Phantom Motorcycle repair shop!! if you're looking for a personal, friendly and down to earth experience where it seems like you're taking your bike to a friends house and not an actual shop, then this is the place for you!! My very first interaction with Tony over the phone was awesome, He took the time to actually talk to you, whatever he was doing at the time, it appears that he stopped and took the time to listen to you and answer my questions. My major concerns were that I had bought some custom wheels (Performance Machine , "Del Rey" wheels) for my 2023 Brakeout, so it was very important that they were well taken care during mounting of the new tires (Metzler's Cruzetec 260mm x 18" rear and 130mm x 21" front). Tony reassured me that he treats your bike as if it was "HIS OWN", and would take every precaution to make sure that no damage would occur. My first impression of his shop when I dropped off the wheels was "My buddy's home garage" although it is small, it seems very personal.
I had made at least a few trips since I didn't have both tires available when I dropped off the bike (different shipping dates) the second time I went to the shop, he had already removed the rear wheel and tire and I then when I saw some of the care that he took as to take care of the little things on your bike for example, my license plate bracket was covered on both ends with "socks!" to keep them from getting scratched while it's set on the bike lift. Again, the little details especially for those of us that own Harleys know what they mean.. I did have an issue where I was missing a rear bushing for the installation of the new wheels, unfortunately, the manufacturer forgot to send the bushing, so it delayed installation and Tony was very understanding in waiting for them to send the bushing out before continuing the repair. When it came to figuring out what kind of weights for balancing (what would not take away from the appearance of the wheels) to put on these custom wheels, he recommended the "Balance and Seal" option because in his opinion, why ruin the look of the wheels by trying to put weights. Again, an example of what he would do if the bike was his.
Tony did an awesome job of keeping communication and responding to my text messages with any questions that I may have had. I have already recommended the shop to many others. I won't be taking my bike to any other shop when it comes to all my custom work with non-Harley products. We all understand some things for warranty purposes we have to have done at Harley. Once again, thank you so much Tony for an awesome job!!!!
Here are some photos that I took myself of the finished product. (If anyone wants pictures of there bikes let this... hit me up)Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0Business owner information

Tony is a super cool dude. He had me out and riding in no time flat for a fair price. I had the parts shipped to his shop, took my bike in on a Friday for a rear tire replacement, was back out on the road on a Saturday. The parts took longer to ship than he took to fix the bike! Definitely going back to him again.

My husband has had a hard time finding a reliable motorcycle mechanic. After reading the great reviews, we decided to take his 2008 Harley Softail Deluxe to Phantom for front lowering springs and rear shocks.
Upon speaking with Tony, we felt comfortable taking the bike in. He was professional, knowledgable and cordial. He inspected the parts we brought and immediately told us what was missing. With his guidance, we were able to buy additional parts right away. That prevented a delay in the bike repair.
When the bike was completed, he was kind enough to allow us to pick it up after hours (due to my work schedule). Sean greeted us when we arrived and explained all the work that had been completed. After getting home, we had additional questions and reached out to Sean. He was responsive and knowledgable. We wanted an additional adjustment and he offered to allow us to take the bike back the next day. Sean took time out of his busy schedule to ensure that we understood the parts on the bike and where safety is involved. We really appreciate that he takes safety into consideration in the work that he does.
These gentlemen are honest, kind and have an amazing work ethic. We are very grateful for Phantom and we use them for any work going forward.Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 1Oh no 0 - Oct 16, 2020
I recently brought my Honda Elite Scooter to Phantom Motor Co. for some work. Tony did an incredible job! He was very hospitable and thorough when speaking with me regarding the work that needed to be done. Throughout the process, he sent text updates with photos and descriptions of what he was doing so I never felt like I was in the dark.
The work was done well and I left feeling great about the service. He has great prices for excellent work. Overall, my experience at Phantom Motor Co. was a great one. Tony did an exceptional job on my scooter/moped and I would highly recommend him to anyone.Helpful 7Thanks 0Love this 6Oh no 0 - Michael S.San Antonio, TX01Jun 27, 2023
Tony may just be the best motorcycle mechanic in all of San Antonio. Don't waste your time with Harley shop mechanics who constantly over charge and under deliver. During the whole process, he texts you pictures of his progress on your bike and keeps you informed.
I would never consider taking my 06 Fatboy anywhere else for service. A straight shooter with a fair price. You need tlc for your bike, this is the place to go.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0Business owner information

This a great shop with a straight shooting owner. He's knowledgeable and fair and treated me well. I've recommended him to two people I work with. I'm a do it myself guy and won't go to the dealerships unless I need a part. Anything I can't do myself will go here for work.

Probably the best auto service of any kind I've ever had. I got my bike back after three years of it sitting in a literal box and, of course it didn't work at all, so I found Phantom Motor company and had it towed there to get the lines flushed, a new battery, brakes checked, etc., and I couldn't be happier. The owner is super friendly, maintains great contact, and doesn't talk down to you if you're not as skilled in bike repair as he is (something I've experienced at other bike shops over the years). I will absolutely be going back to Phantom for anything I need done to my bike. With around 25 years of experience fixing motorcycles in SA, why would I go anywhere else?

Great mechanic, not about the money but about the passion of fixing motorcycles for their riders. Making sure the rider is safe and the bike runs smooth. Thanks Tony for the job on my Goldwing. I'm going back to Tony again when the time comes.
