Attorney Tiffany Ballenger and her team were excellent in handling both my trust and my mom's trust! A few years back we had a not so good Attorney do my trust. I never realized how much of a mess it was until I was at the end of refinancing my home. We did a lot of research to try to find an Attorney that specializes in Trusts. Tiffany was amazing, kind, and very informative! The time that was spent with us, as well as Laura going over our finalized trust to make sure we understood every single part of our trust was so very helpful to us! We would highly recommend Attorney Tiffany Ballenger for any of your Estate planning needs!

They are amazing, very professional. my estate planning was so easy, we discussed what we wanted to include and they asked great clarifying questions. The signing of the documents were easy and they were pleasant to work with. Tiffany and Team are great, they told me the cost upfront and how the process would unfold. No surprises and easy to work with.Highly recommend.

I'm 27 years old and this was my first time hiring a lawyer to represent me in a contract negotiation. The first red flag was when they refused to provide me with a rough estimate of how much it was going to cost, despite providing a copy of the contract ahead of time at their request. But I decided to hire the firm anyways because I felt comfortable with Atty. Ballenger-Floyd and genuinely thought she would have my best interest at heart.
Not long after they began work on my case, I was being badgered by their legal assistant via email and phone to replenish my retainer without ever being sent a bill. After asking to see a breakdown of hours before sending more money, the response times slowed and priority given to my file diminished despite the fact there was a hard deadline approaching (aka my wedding day).
After numerous replenishments of my retainer, my Fiancé informed me of the amount his Lawyer had charged him to draft the contract, negotiate with my lawyer, exchange countless emails and phone calls, and all for a flat upfront fee, nonetheless. Having this information I was OUTRAGED at the amount I was charged by my lawyer. I began dissecting the bills and saw ridiculous charges for admin fees such as "Review & Update Matter Calendar" "Admin, Filling, Organization, Emails & Scheduling Tasks" , unnecessary "research" work by her law clerk, work charged double time by her and her law clerk, etc. Initially I felt naive and idiotic for not reviewing each and every bill before giving her any more money, but in the end, I had already invested so much that it would have been a nightmare and even more costly to start over with a new firm.
After an email requesting a call from my Attorney to discuss billing went unanswered, my Fiancé and I called and were directed to speak with the Law Clerk. After no clarification was provided on the call, my Fiancé and I were both upset and requested that Atty Ballenger-Floyd call us back immediately. After days go by with no response, I finally receive an email from Attorney Ballenger-Floyd with a SCATHING, unprofessional, demeaning and insulting 9 PAGE LETTER. In all honestly I'm sure she spent more time on this letter than my case as a whole. I was in tears reading it and am still in shock as to how she thought this was appropriate to send a client.
At this point, I just wanted her out of my life and didn't care that I spent an egregious amount of money and would never get a dime back. But it doesn't end there. The contract was finalized, my fiancé and I both signed it at his attorney's office in the presence of a notary (with the expressed permission of my Attorney). And after all this, Attorney Ballenger refused to sign it unless I again replenished my retainer because she needed to do a "final review" of an already finalized contract. She literally held it over my head, knowing that my wedding date was quickly approaching. So again I bite my tongue and paid her so I could get married.
Overall, this was a terrible experience for me and I definitely WOULD NOT RECOMMEND. They're warm and welcoming until you start questioning their billing practices and by that time you're pot committed.Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 1Oh no 1Business owner information

As a small firm, we work incredibly hard to make sure our clients have a wonderful experience. While we're sad and disappointed to see that this reviewer is upset, we stand by our conduct in this situation, as we were not only honest and ethical, but were completely transparent and communicative with throughout our representation. Unfortunately, the assertions in this review either lack important context or are blatantly false. As attorneys, it's difficult for us to respond to allegations online due to our professional obligations to maintain client confidentiality.
We enjoyed a pleasant, friendly, open dialogue throughout our representation. All of our hourly billing procedures were approved by the client in writing via a formal engagement letter; further, we provided client w/ regular invoices that included details as how time was spent and the associated charge for each service.
Notably, no dispute or inquiry was made until over 3 weeks AFTER the 4th invoice was sent - and AFTER the parties executed the agreement that was the focus of the representation. We responded to billing questions (once raised) immediately (same day)- and further through a detailed explanation letter that addressed all issues raised.
To summarize:
(#1): Reviewer felt that because a different attorney's bill was a certain amount, our firm's bill should, for some reason, "match it". However, fails to mention they're not comparing apples to apples- as attorneys' rates typically correlate w/ experience, it's unreasonable to compare our rates here (a partner-level attorney with 12+ yrs experience) to the other attorney's (who was a 1st-yr associate who only just graduated law school last year), It's not surprising that the experienced attorney's rate is higher, resulting in a higher total bill. Regardless, all rates and costs were fully disclosed, communicated to, and approved by, the client.
(#2) Any experienced transactional attorney will tell you that the drafting attorney (here- opposing counsel) usually has much less work to do than the revising attorney (here- us) b/c they have the advantage of starting with their own agreement. They know what's in there, as they wrote it. The non-drafting attorney must carefully review the agreement- line by line- as well as subsequent drafts, to properly protect their client's interests, which is what we were hired to do.
(#3) Importantly, the opposing party's position in the initial contract was very far from ideal (ethical rules prohibit us from any further detail in a public forum), but this proved to be a significant complicating factor, requiring much time in negotiations to protect our client's interests.
To close- we happily go the extra mile for our amazing clients. We have offered an open door to speak privately (at no charge), to personally address any concerns and find a solution- it's unfortunate that this route was instead chosen. Despite this, we continue to wish her our very best! - Vicky D.Las Vegas, NV073Jun 16, 2021
Our Trust update and Estate Plan process went so well! Tiffany, Laura and Becky were thorough, professional and responsive. We will refer our friends/family to Phillips Ballenger and look forward to a continued relationship as life events lead to future updates.

My wife and I have been going to Tiffany for over 4 years now for our estate planning and business entity management/creation. Tiffany not only provides us with a wealth of knowledge during the process every time we meet with her, but we feel so protected and valued with her wisdom. In addition, we have developed a personal relationship with her and as her clients, we feel like we genuinely matter to her. She has been one of the strongest additions to our circle and we feel she is the perfect solution to other potential client's numerous needs. She is the right choice!
