G M.Philadelphia, PA015188Jun 19, 2023If you are going to call yourselves "Philly's Finest Pizza", at least be in the top 50%. But you are in the bottom 10%.
The pizza sauce is old, bland, and metallic tasting, no doubt because the tomato sauce came from a can.
The crust is burnt, hard, dry, and greasy tasting.
The cheese is cheap, oily, salty, and tastes more like vegetable oil than actual dairy cheese.
The sausage is the low-end Domino's kind.
The pepperoni is tasty but you hardly get any. We counted an average of just 1.5 tiny pieces on every large slice!
The other toppings were downright rancid and/or old tasting.
We tried a few other menu items but have similar complaints.
The service is fast and friendly but so what? The pizza and other food are awful.
This establishment deserves one star but I added a star for the polite, efficient employees. But I really should not have.
There are a few nearby pizzerias that really are contenders for Philly's finest. Spend your hard earned pizza dollars there.

I've had some bad meals in my day but these by far take the cake. Worst wings I ever had in my entire life. How could anyone look at these and serve them to a customer. Y'all should be ashamed of yourselves.

This go around I had the Buffalo chicken cheese steak with seeded bread some Cajun wings and of course a plain cheese pizza. As usual the pizza is good haven't had a bad one yet. The Buffalo chicken cheese steak on the other hand wasn't good. The seeded bread was the high light. It had the right amount of firm but soft texture but that was it. There was barely any chicken more bread than anything. That will not do for a good Philly cheese steak. The Cajun wings left a lot to be desired as well. The wings themselves were a good size but the Cajun seasoning was the worse if ever tasted. So far the Pizza is a PLUS the Crab Mac and Cheese is Amazing. I'll be back to try one last thing or it'll just be Pizza and Crab Mac for me

But this review is more about what they changed for my wife. Last time, we had the crab Mac and Cheese and it was special. So my wife wanted some more. Oddly enough my wife forgot it wasn't Mac and Cheese and thought Crab fries. They told her they didn't make crab fries but they'd make her them upon her request. (THANK YOU VERY MUCH). Just like the Mac and Cheese those crab fries were the GREAT...plenty of crab the fries had a good taste and texture. Again thanks for accommodating my Wife's request much respect
Mar 6, 2023Previous reviewIt's the evening and who's up for some pizza? My family and I decided it was pizza night so we stopped into Phillys Finest Pizza in Rhawnhust(Northeast Philly). We felt kinda hungry and ordered a few things off the menu. We went with a large plain pizza, large cheese steak with Cooper sharp cheese on a seeded roll. We also ordered the crab Mac & cheese and 15 Nashville jumbo wings. The pizzas flavor was really good, not bland at all and the large size was just right. The cheesesteak would make a Philadelphian proud. Even though it was seeded the roll was nice and soft helping to keep that good juicy flavor. I was amazed at the crab Mac & Cheese. Most places advertise this type but I have to admit it's the best I've tasted. The Nashville wings are a very good size to match the flavor of the sauce. Their Nashville sauce is a little more sweet than spicy but it's still a very good blend. Overall everything was really good and I look forward to my family and I testing out some more items on the menu. So if you're near the Northeast or just want to take a ride for some good food try this place out. I'm sure you won't be disappointed.

Pizza is good. Wings are huge and I love their mild sauce. I think we found our new pizza place in the neighborhood.

The whiz sauce is good but I wish there was a little more as you can see in the photo. Food was still pretty good and I would order from here again.

I really wanted to try Philly's again and see if it was a fluke and happy to
say I was correct. We loved everything.
The chicken parm was excellent. Great sauce and lots of melty cheese. Large cutlets and perfectly seasoned. Hefty sandwich too.
Burger was very good, big juicy patty and crisp bacon, loved the BBQ sauce. Pizza was so much better this time. Not sure what happened but keep it up. We'll be ordering much more often. Loved it

We wanted something fast tonight since we were going to be watching
the new Breaking Bad movie, in honor of Walt's famous pizza roof tossing moment years ago it was only fitting to get a pizza tonight.
The crust was thin and the cheese was covered well, I think the sauce for me was a bit underwhelming. Nothing bad really but nothing wowed us either.
It does not deserve a roof tossing and we ate it all.
Shame, we had high hopes for a great new place near by, the search goes on.
