It's Martin Luther King Jr. Day and my usual Vietnamese restaurant is closed. However, my determination to enjoy a hot bowl of Pho has not wavered. I found this restaurant on Google and the reviews made it seem promising. When I walk in, it's the stereotypical Vietnamese restaurant that you would expect, nothing fancy. The Pho broth itself was pretty good, but that's where it pretty much ended for me. None of the ingredients were fresh. Beginning with the bean sprouts, basil, or meat. To top things off, I noticed that the red sriracha sauce looked a little different. When I opened it up and put a little bit on my plate it tasted completely off which is when I realized that they were either purchasing a cheaper sauce and placing it into these bottles. Or they were making it themselves and putting it into the famous sriracha bottles. I asked the waiter and he said they purchased it.
I told him it isn't the real sauce though. He laughed and then admitted it isn't the actual sauce. Which as a business owner myself I know that this could lead to a pretty hefty lawsuit should the sriracha company find out. But I'm not here to get anyone in trouble. I'm just here to offer a little bit of guidance. Imagine buying a corvette then realizing it had a Kia motor?
When it comes to enjoying a bowl of pho, all in all, from a scale of 1-10 I would probably rate this place a 4. Meaning that this place is probably just below average in my book. A 10 would be the best pho you've ever eaten and a 1 would be the worst. Will I be back? No!Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Atwater Villager G.Los Angeles, CA8140175Aug 20, 2023
Absolutely LOVE this old-school, low tech style family-owned restaurant. Unpretentious, simple and spacious dining room and easy parking. Great menu with authentic items. Fast service.
Vietnamese hip hop playing low on the flat screen. College undergraduates camping out in the corner booths. Comfort Some would say it's worn and tawdry, but I love it. It reminds me of all the Southeast Asian family businesses started by refugees that came here after the Vietnam War. It's exactly what makes the US a special place.
Was on solo road-trip and needed a pho dinner and checking out the beautiful art deco Nebraska State Capitol. Every good college town has a pho noodle joint. This was the real deal. Delicious. DO eat here.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Dec 7, 2022
I make it a point to try every Vietnamese place in town. This is the one I come back to for pho every time. They know me by name, and they know my usual order. There's something about that broth that nourishes your soul as well as your body.

This is probably one of the best Vietnamese restaurants I have ever been.
The food is packed with amazing flavors. You cannot go wrong with anything on their menu, you can literally close your eyes and pick at random and you'll get something amazing.
The food comes out fast and the service is amazing, they get you anything really fast.
I order the Pho and eggrolls. The Pho is the best I have tried and it comes full of meat, probably too much but I am not complaining the more meat the better.
This food is worth a drive to Lincoln anytime.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Anon F.Salinas, CA082Oct 27, 2023
I've had pho all over the country in many different states and this is probably the best I've ever had. Seriously very very good.

BEST PHO IN LINCOLN! So happy we have a nice Vietnamese community in lincoln that can give us a taste of great food and amazing hospitality! I've tried lots of different pho places and this is definitely my favorite! The restaurant is in an old strip mall between an Arabic grocery store and a barber shop. It's nothing fancy but if you want some super friendly & welcoming service, amazing pho that comes out hot and fresh, COME HERE ! This will be my go-to for pho in Lincoln! Pho Nguyenn is a lucky find :)

Every time my friends and I visit our friend, we are always craving pho and always choose to go to this place. Walking in, it looks like the usual Vietnamese restaurant and the broth smell hits your nose right away.
I got pho tai with the raw meat on the side. I like adding it once we get our bowls cause I always get excited seeing the meat cook before I eat. Their broth is very delicious and flavorful. I always judge my pho based on how well the broth tastes. My friends got pho as well and another got bun bo hue. This pho place also accommodates to our requests of getting little bowls of pho broth with an egg. It makes the broth taste a little sweeter and something some Asian families do.
All the workers are dedicated and hard workers. They don't keep you waiting too long. They do require at least $15 to pay with a credit card. Also like most pho places, you'll go to the register up front to pay whenever you are ready to leave.
My friends and I always make this one of our food stops when in Lincoln. You are always left satisfied and happy with their food quality and service.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Lara K.Lincoln, NE28141May 22, 2022
