I absolutely love this place. The popsicles are all made on-site.

The variety is wide and sorted by dairy.

It's usually busy, the staff are all bilingual and welcoming, and the menu has enough options to please my ten year old who's an exceptionally picky eater.

A beautiful family-owned shop with unique artsy decor and incredibly kind employees. There are many flavor options and toppings, and even paletas for those who are not in the mood for ice cream.

The cappuccino crunch was incredible, and the salted caramel was flavored perfectly. I cannot wait to come back.

Fun family-owned ice cream shop with unique and classic flavours! They were kind to let my partner and I try a few flavours before we landed on our final choices. I had the truffle bourbon scooped in a perfectly crispy waffle cone.

Affordable and tasty.

It didn't blow me away but it was good and the price is so reasonable I'll be going back again. We tried the peanut butter cookie dough, the cookies and cream, and the chocolate. Didn't know what to expect with the peanut butter, but it was our favorite of the three!

The ice cream here is really good! They have some very interesting flavors that I've not seen elsewhere. Also the people working here are super nice. Takes a little while to get through the line, but it's worth it!

A+ for friendly service from a very genuine cashier. Welcoming and warm, this is the type of interaction you want to have when you treat yourself to deserts.

C- minus for Mangonada. First time having this Mexican desert, and was willing to pay the higher rate of $6.99 (the small size) for something new as I hadn't had hot sauce, mango sherbet and mango pieces before or spicy sweet tamarind straw. Looks cool but wayyy too much hot sauce. Had mouthfuls of hot sauce instead of sherbet, and had tough time finishing this one. I also normally like spicy sour sweet flavors like the tamarind (similar to li hing mui), but found this one a bit too salty. When I was finishing my Mangonada some of the flavors blended together and it worked, so there's something there.

B- minus for menu. Appreciate the pictures, they help a lot. But could show prices more clearly. I didn't notice it but there might be a paper menu outside to help, as I saw it in someone else's photo.

Overall recommend for friendly vibes, and seems like a popular spot. Prices for ice cream and pops seem very reasonable. I do regret spending more for a Mangonada. I can't say I recommend this one, however I support Pincho Loco for offering unique flavors. I wish the ice cream menu did have more beyond the classics, or I would have tried those instead!

Love this little dessert shop. The owners are the sweetest people ever. We love the mangonada but also frequently get pints to take home. We got some pints last night and I got the honey roasted peanut butter and it is SO GOOD. Highly recommend the honey roasted peanut butter and mangonadas!

The space is small but they have picnic style tables or you can take your ice cream on a stroll down 9th street or the Duke wall. Perfect location. Great ice cream + desserts.

Pincho_loco is a cute little eclectic hidden gem on 9th St Durham that serves a variety of ice cream, floats, gelato, etc!

We ordered:
Cappuccino crunch ice cream cone - So creamy! Loved the coffee taste and chocolate chunks. Would come back for this!
Coke-float - My friend prefers this over a root beer float!

Overall, loved this dessert shop!

Absolutely so yummers. Most favorite popsicles in the research triangle, potentially the world. Try the cookies and cream one if you're into creamy stuff
Usually have their stuff when it's catered but every time I've gone into their location off ninth st, I'm always greeted super kindly. I make it a point to bring out of towners here because it's THAT good.
