Great service! They put me in a shoe that is the best walking shoe I have ever had(SAS). I walked and walked and walked on my trip and no pain! Heaven! Then I went back to get more and they ordered the color and style I wanted. Great people!

Family shoe store and so much More!! I was looking for a cute black flat with some razzle dazzle and I found just what I wanted at Pix Shoes. Carol and her husband were very helpful and efficient!! I should have bought the same shoes in another color!!

I was shopping for a Derby hat and stopped at Pix because the location was close to our hotel.
The selection was awesome. The prices are the best in town.

I've driven by Pix hundreds of times but never been in. But I was shopping with someone who needed a Derby hat and she'd heard they had a good selection.

We looked at the hats and then looked the shoes after.

The hats are affordable (compared to other places we'd been and there was a variety of styles. Some looked fancier than others. They have fascinaters too.

The shoes were also affordable and there was a good variety.

Pix seems to have a good selection at good prices. It's not the fanciest store I've ever been in, but if you're looking for a low price, come here. The sales staff was helpful, and multiple people came by to assist us.

Found a last minute, gorgeous facinator on Derby Day morning 2021. The staff was incredibly sweet and helpful. Great price for a great piece!

Today, Carol Ann, the owner of Pix Shoes did an amazing thing for my 81 year old mom! It's a long story but basically my mom needed shoes desperately, but she was having a very bad walking day so Carol Ann graciously brought out several pairs of shoes to the car parked out front of her store by the curb and helped my mom try on shoes until she found the one she wanted! Carol Ann was so very kind to my mom and me, I can't thank her enough for her patience and generosity today. My mom was in the passenger side of the car, Carol Ann opened the door, got down into the passenger floor with a shoehorn and put shoes on my mom's foot while I waved oncoming traffic into another lane. What a saint!! And the most amazing part was her positive attitude! I will go back there from now on to get shoes for my mom (and me!) because of her arthritis and her swollen feet, she needs the SAS shoe brand. But more importantly, my mother and I are now official fans of her and her store! Thank you Carol Ann, from the bottom of my heart .

So Pix Shoes is somewhat of a Louisville staple having been in business since 1942! I drive and walk past it often and decided to stop in yesterday to see their selection of dressy shoes since my daughter is getting married in May. Well this store is worth the trip to see even if you don't like to shop - which I don't - due to the massive inventory and the diverse styles of shoes, sandals and boots. If you are a shoe freak you need to get yourself over to Pix immediately!!! From tame to tawdry (not a dig just the facts) Pix has it!!! What a fun shop. PLUS as you can tell from their windows they have a lot of Kentucky Derby hats. I didn't come home with shoes today although I will be going back because I think I found a pair that matches my mother of the bride dress PERFECTLY. I did try on several hats and fell in love with one for this years Derby festivities! Pix has very friendly and helpful staff members. There is street parking and parking behind the store off of Market Street. I would recommend Pix to any "shoe freaks" in a heartbeat. Their prices on derby hats are reasonable and Pix has a lot of shoes on sale all of which are clearly marked with the price. All in all a fun place to shop - I would almost call it a modern day shoe museum.
