I recently moved to the area and needed to find someone local who can cut, style and color my very curly and long hair. Over the years finding someone who understands curly hair has been a challenge. Veronica did an amazing job with the color to cover the grays, first time doing my hair and she mixed a color that is exactly my natural color. She covered all the areas someone else missed. She also gave me great layers with texture which is very important for a curly hair cut. I walked out with a blow out so awesome my hair looks naturally straight! Veronica is thoughtful, kind and does an amazing job. I highly recommend her for anyone with curly hair! So happy to have found my new stylist.

Just got the worst haircut I have ever had in my entire life. I left the salon sat in my car and screamed for 2 minutes straight and then drove home in shock and silence.

The first picture is what I went in looking like (red hair cute almost a bob but not shaped how I wanted). The second picture is what I walked out looking like. The last picture is the inspo pic i showed the stylist (notice how that's literally just a picture of me I just wanted to look how I did before).

According to Tina ... the picture I showed her was gonna look different on me because I had thicker hair. Again... inspo is was literally my own self. Then she said we must've had different visions. Yes, indeed I actually think Tina may be in need of some glasses to correct her vision because this looks like I walked straight out of the L word. Now if you Google 90's inspired rocker lesbian haircuts you may come across a picture of me. I will be wearing hats for the next 6 months thanks to Tina.

Zuzi has been keeping me fresh! Prestige has a lot of great stylists and it has a great vibe when you arrive.

I first went into Prestige Salon a couple of months ago after reading several positive reviews. I love the location because it's not too far from where I'm staying. I'm actually from Texas, but I'm usually in Southern California every few months for work. They have numerous professional stylists but I decided to give Lisa Tran a call and schedule with her. She had plenty of excellent reviews and I've seen some of her work online. My daughter and I were lucky to get an appointment with her within a few days.
She was more than happy to work with the both us. I have to say though, I LOVED her honesty and integrity. During the consultation my daughter had showed her a hair color that she wanted to get done. Lisa immediately explained about the process, time and cost. She examined my daughter's thick hair and told her about the process of bleaching, toning...etc. My daughter felt so confident to work with Lisa because her hair had been butchered in the past by other hairstylists who weren't very familiar with color.
As for me, I just needed a root touch up and Lisa did a lovely job. I told her exactly what I wanted. My goal was to have my hair a lighter brown not pitch black. She did an amazing job on me. I felt so confident afterwards because my grays were getting pretty bad.
My daughter loved how her hair turned out too!!
The prices were very reasonable and again Lisa was upfront about everything. She never pressured us into getting something we didn't want done. I love her professionalism, her color skills and cuts. I enjoyed my time there and both my daughter and I are looking forward to seeing Lisa again for our next appointment when we are in town.
The salon is very lovely and clean. Cleanliness is big plus+++

She's absolutely kind and friendly and most importantly...she LISTENS to her clients. I asked her to not trim my hair too short...and she respected that didn't try to push me to go shorter. I highly recommend Lisa to anyone looking a great stylist/color specialist. Honestly, all the gals and guys at Prestige seem very talented.

***I read a few recent reviews and saw that some Yelpers have posted about pricing being too high. That's just a bit ridiculous because the prices are more than fair for the high end products being used. If someone wants something cheaper...then they should go to Super Cuts!

This was my first time getting my hair done professionally and it was an amazing experience. The staff were awesome, the facility was clean and my stylist did an outstanding job. I did not expect my hair to turn out the way it did. I would highly recommend this salon and I definitely plan on returning. My stylist was Gina and she's very skilled and easy to talk to.

Just got powder ombré brows done by Riley and I am IN LOVE! She made me feel so comfortable and answered all my questions and checked in with me every step of the way! I HIGHLY recommend getting your brows done by Riley!

I feel so bad for writing a bad review as I dont do this often but I have to just say, I wouldnt go here for any sort of bleach work. I went recently and the stylist just didnt seem to know how to do a root touch-up.

There wasnt much conversation between the stylist and I, which I appreciated early in the morning but the conversation we did have was courteous. The receptionist was very attentive and sweet but besides that no one else there seems to enjoy the job too much.

My stylist put the initial layer of bleach on my roots and when it wasn't completely white each time she would check on it, she would put another layer of bleach on my hair. Towards the end, she realizes she didnt bleach my baby hairs on my neck and bleached my hair with a bleach that burned very badly. Eventually, when my hair was not turning white with the big glob of bleach, she asked another stylist for help on what to do. The other stylist basically asked if she planned on toning and my stylist said no she just likes to bleach to the color (which i have not ever seen in the 2 years of having platinum hair). At this point i was a little nervous and maybe visibly so, as she washed out my hair after.

When she washed my hair out, she nearly water boarded me and got a whole lot of bleach water down my face which was burning my skin. I was wiping my face constantly with the towel i had around my neck and tried to get her to stop but I dont think she was really paying attention to me to hear me or see me struggle. I eventually just stopped and waited for the whole appointment to be over. Maybe i should have stopped it right there but i have never had this happen before and didnt know how to speak up.

Long story short, I ended up leaving with yellowish roots, burned scalp from the blow dryer, dry hair, and a soaking wet shirt.

I really really appreciate them fitting me in their schedule on short notice and it was definitely my fault for not doing research but I just have to be honest for anyone in the same situation as me.

Oh my gosh!!!! I can't say enough good things about this salon. I went in very nervous as I've been done wrong before by many salons. Sally calmed my nervous and gave me amazing recommendations and I really felt like she was there to help me achieve my hair dreams and not to make a quick sale. She gave me a keratin treatment and now my hair is fabulous!! I found a new salon home! Also, Tania the owner is so accommodating and kind! Highly recommend!!!

I wanted to try this salon for the first time it had great reviews so I came in... I got a haircut just above my shoulders with layered ends and it was not cut evenly and the ends were left very blunt compared to the top layers. However my stylist was very nice! But it was a little pricey i understand though because I got a shampoo and style but was upset that she charged me for long hair when my hair originally did not pass the end of my chest. Now I will have to grow it out because the layers were cut a little too short for my liking, I probably will not return and sorry for the bad review. I paid around $80 for this and around $100 after tip.

I've been visiting Prestige Salon since 2021, specifically with Lisa Tran about every 3 - 4 weeks on a regular basis! I'm always so impressed with the service! For starters, whenever I walk in I am greeted with smiles, friendly hellos and a beverage offering. The salon is well lit, always spotless and looks freshly "polished"! The sitting area is comfortable with tasty snacks and beverages. Lisa is the ultimate professional! She is always so patient and will assess my hair needs each time with a keen eye. She'll advise if I need my low lights touched up or just my standard grey coverage. She will tone my hair only when needed and will experiment with different brands to ensure ultimate softness and strength! I greatly appreciate the extra thought and effort that goes into this! I get compliments for days! On top of that Lisa is a sweetheart and so kind! She is so hardworking and does whatever it takes to satisfy her clients! All the staff is so friendly, including Vicky V! It's always so much fun visiting this salon and these special people!! I highly recommend Lisa and this salon!! Thank you so much Lisa and to Prestige!!
