Highly recommend working with pride restoration in St. Louis for water damage cleanup, mold remediation and fire damage restoration. Amazing company to work with. If you have a flooded basement definitely call them.

We came home from work and discovered our toilet supply line had ruptured and caused flooding to our main level and our finished basement. We didn't know what to do. A friend recommended Pride Cleaning and Restoration. I called them right away and was surprised I was able to talk to a person even though it was after 800 PM. I spoke to Jim and he was able to get a crew sent out right away. They worked until 2 AM and had another crew come over in the morning to keep working on saving what they could in my basement including my doll collection that was passed down to me by my grandmother. They also worked with the insurance company and I really felt they were looking out for me and not just the insurance company. Pride made a horrible situation tolerable. I hope I never have to go through this again, however I know I can call Pride to take care of me.

I had a water emergency from frozen/busted pipes back in February of this year and was told by a friend that I should call a restoration company since there would be damage that needed to be mitigated and restored and that a restoration company would make it an easier process.

Well, after talking to Jim(the owner), he was able to stop by a few days later. He assured me that his guys would be on it and that we'd get everything up and running, starting with the plumber. After a plumber didn't show up for a few days I called Jim, who directed me to Ken, who told me he didn't even know a plumber had been out. After about two weeks they were finally able to get the plumbing fixed. The plumber was amazing and he was the only person who did anything about the job. After that, Ken couldn't get anything squared away with State Farm adjusters. I was constantly the middle man calling back and forth. Last time I talked to Ken he was supposed to call me back; I haven't heard anything from him since before Memorial day. I then called Jim a week later to inform him of the situation and he said he'd look into things and get back with me...that was June 9th. I have never met with people so unprofessional. I was then forced to call another restoration company who was able to get everything squared away to get the job started in a matter of days. Pride left a giant hole in my kitchen since February and was very unprofessional about how they left the situation. I never leave bad reviews for any business, but I'm really trying to save the next person the headache. If you need a restoration company in this city, call Woodard. They handled the situation professionally and in a timely manner. Please do not use Pride. They do not care about their customers.

I would highly recommend this veteran owned company. They did an excellent job and went beyond their job to assist me. I had water damage in my home that covered 3 floors. A manager came out to assess the damage in less than 20 minutes and a crew was working in my home within 30 minutes after his assessment. The owner of the company came out also to appraise the damage. They did everything they said they would do. During a devastating event in my life this company was like a God sent blessing. The crew packed items, moved furniture, removed plaster, carpet, wood framing and any damaged items. They sealed the room off and used a dehumidifier. This company rates 5 gold stars for their committee to customer service.

I recommended this company to my mother after reading the excellent reviews this Spring 2017. A bathroom faucet broke and flooded her home. She contacted them. One man came out, gave a quote and expected a check. She told him she would get other quotes first. She decided to go with them after the flooring, etc. were evaluated. Week after week went by. This person and that person was going to stop by to look and evaluate the situation. After a couple of months of work started, my mother called and demanded a refund of her deposit. The stars are because the actual owners did not give her any problems in refunding her money. In fact, they gave her a gift card for her troubles. Pride, your subcontractors are unreliable.

Had a major flood in August of 2016. Because of the great reviews of this company I contracted them. I had no idea those reviews were for much smaller jobs than for what I needed. Dealing with this company has been a major headache and nightmare. My house needed 100K worth of work and almost everything they did was done poorly and needed to be redone. Things like having to hang the cabinets 4 different times and lowering my counter tops 3 inchs so that it looks like the kitchen was built for a dwarf. I have had filthy crown molding used and only because I saw it was it taken down. There has been continuous flooding because of their errors of hammering nails into pipes, the fact that they did not know how to reinstall my ac hose, therefore, the drain of the ac was flooding my newly installed carpet. The electrical work was done very poorly; lite switches were moved to different parts of the house i.e., hall light was wired to the living room light switch. Water pump behind dishwasher was severed by their people causing my home to flood again which I was held responsible and they refused to pay. The window treatments have not been completed, they were suppose to evaluate the mold and mildew situation which they are ignoring. This concerns me because mold is linked to many health issues.
The Electrician called me one day to tell me they were going to have to put a lien on my house because Pride had not paid them!
I think it's interesting that I have a 20K check which they are owed. I think it is almost an admission of guilt that they are not requesting the 20K they are owed. I have told them numerous times that once the work is completed properly they will get their check and still they have not finished the work. Do yourself a favor and never deal with this company.

Fantastic company, Jim is great. I had a rental property that was destroyed by a tenant and her cats. Jim worked for over a month to help me remove all the cat odor from the basement and first floor so that I could get the house on the market to sell. He did a great job, highly recommend this company.
