My husband was referred over here from mint dental for a wisdom tooth extraction. He was told his part was $192 dollars. We automatically thought it was our copay from procedure. NOPE! This was just a "consult" fee from the oral surgeon. Front office receptionist told me they use a code for it insurance doesn't cover after I grilled her with a bunch of questions. In other words, they hide this consult fee that they shouldn't even be charging patients in the treatment plan price. No scruples whatsoever!

This is unacceptable for our elderly. 5 minute consultation $192. Stay clear of PURE Oral Surgery and Mint dentistry as they are owned by each other. They take advantage of people and the elderly! Would give 0 stars

Dec 4, 2023Previous reviewMy mom was referred from Mint Dentist for a spot that was noticed on the roof of her mouth. Was charged $192 for consult fee. Doctor took all of 5 minutes to look in her mouth and say everything is fine. My mom is elderly and retired, all she has is her social security that she lives on. This is not acceptable. I am so sick and tired of people taking advantage of the elderly.
