They do great breakfast burritos !
Recommend the chorizo burrito or the crazy burrito . Have tried it in the evening for dinner and it never stacks up to breakfast, either missing flavor , soggyHelpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Mica K.Tacoma, WA739218Feb 14, 2024
It's $9 for a burrito and when I asked to add an extra meat they didn't say anything but ok and proceeded to upcharge me 6$ bucks. I'm sorry but 16 dollars for a burrito is not reasonable. Especially with generic quality and nothing to justify. The lady at the window was unwelcoming and not helpful at all. Didn't tell me the price until she already charged me. When eating my burrito I was unpleased with how little of the extra sausage I got charged for was in it, and how there was already premade/pre chopped packaged bacon there was. And barely no egg when I specifically ordered a Breakfast Burrito. Very unpleased and won't be eating here again.

So much more expensive than it used to be and the quality has gone downhill. Better than Betos though

This place is very casual and relaxing the ambiance is pleasant for the area its in. They no longer have the bar of condiments which is sad however the food is still the best and the wait time is less than 10 minutes which is helpful if your in a rush.

To be honest, I thought flaming hot cheetos in a burrito sounded weird as hell. I was feeling adventurous and wanted something different though, so I thought why not give it a try? Let me tell you, MIND BLOWN! I found the crunch so satisfying. It was so delicious! Plus, bonus, it was gigantic! Under $9 and this sucker was as big as my arm! I could only eat half! I know my cheetos will be soggy when I reheat this later, but I hope the flavor is still on point!
And flan is my favorite, so there ya go.
Giving the restaurant a 4/5 overall because it is honestly really hit and miss with Rancheritos. This meal was so awesome! That isn't always the case with them though.Helpful 2Thanks 0Love this 1Oh no 0 - Blaine L.Salt Lake City, UT517Jul 19, 2023
Rotten meat.
I've eaten here quite a bit, and usually it's excellent... but this time the food had rotten meat in it.
I took a few bites, and I could taste a really funky, bitter, ammonia taste.
I googled: "what does rotten meat taste like?" and the results said a strong ammonia taste. So, I'm pretty sure I was served rotten meat.
I went during the lunch hour, around 12:30pm on a Monday, 07/17/23, in case management wants to look into who was working that day.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Dec 24, 2020
Stopped in at Rancherito's to load up on breakfast burritos for some pre-shredding (snowboarding) protein and carbs. For under 5 bucks a pop, these babies were HUGLY delicious!
Filled with a ginormous portion of eggs, bacon, cheese and potatoes...then pour a little green or red salsa on them and boom!
You'll most likely have some leftovers. Day two of shredding worked for us! ;-)Helpful 26Thanks 0Love this 27Oh no 0 - Mario S.South Salt Lake, UT8151May 26, 2023
When I get my food from this place, I asked to put the burrito in a different container from ordering the number 16 and today they refuse to put the fried burito in a different container. Today they told me the cook did not want to put the fried Burrito in a different container, which I found absurd!! Besides of charging over $1.00 for tax 1 taxes they created, and have to pay $14 for the meal and they cannot do that, which they have done several times before is absurd!! I was waiting on the line just to leave and no order anything. I'm not going to order from this place anymore and I'll tell anyone to no eat there.

So first of all I have to acknowledge that this is exactly what you'd expect it to be. Large portions of Mexican food for a good price. One item could almost be a few of your meals for the day. I said almost!
I've tried quite a few different things and find myself buying the texano or the steak chimi almost everytime I'm there. The breakfast burritos are great but one of my go-to's isn't offered at this location. The tortillas are also very good here. It's a weird thing to say, but I'm a huge fan of the pico. I'm not sure how places can mess up something as standard as pico but they manage to.
The drive through is quite busy during the peak times but the wait isn't bad at all. The inside is closed to dine in as I'm currently writing this review. Maybe that will change one day. Some nights they have a screen playing trance music while you wait. Kind of a funny thing to do but I actually quite enjoy it.
The sauces have a nice little kick but aren't too hot for some white person to enjoy.
All in all, give it a shot. If you're hungry you'll definitely have enough to eat.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0
