Refresh Cafe

This is the cafe inside of ECPI University campus in Virginia Beach. It is meant for a quick bite for students before or during classes.

Apparently, the employees here are culinary students at ECPI so they are learning the food industry. I think that's a great idea for them to get culinary experience while they're in school. They offer wraps, pizzas, and soup for a pretty cheap price. It's good quality quick food for the students.

I wouldn't think this is a place you would frequent often if you weren't a student, but it is a solid place to grab a bite if you're hungry on campus. Support the students!

The Refresh Cafe is on the first floor of the ECPI University building in Virginia Beach. Although ultimately owned by ECPI University, through their sister school the Culinary Institute of Virginia, the business is operated by graduates of CIV. The food is excellent for the price. The flatbread pizzas are outstanding. There are both hot and cold sandwiches, as well as salads and soup.

The Refresh Cafe is well appointed with modern amenities and equipment. The ambiance is modern and classy with a vibrance of youth, probably because of students going in and out while on break from class. Although tied closely to ECPI as it can be, it is worth trying it out if you are in the area. Refreshing for what is basically a great take on fast food. Great for a quick bite or a small business lunch meeting.

The Refresh Cafe also offers their own reloadable card, for those who eat there often. Currently, offering an additional 10% to your loaded amount.
