Reliable Standard Heating & Air

This is one amazing company! I called another company to find out why my furnace was blowing cold air instead of hot air. They told me my control panel was bad and that I needed a new heater. And, a new air conditioner. And, new ductwork. $23,000.00.
My daughter insisted that I get two more quotes. One was from Reliance Standard Heating &Air. Their technician, Chris, came out on the same day and tested my heater. My heater worked just fine. It was a wire in the thermostat that was not installed correctly. He fixed it in about 10 minutes.
I'm always going to call this company for my heating and A/C needs!

Let me tell you something about Chris the tech who came out to fix our issue. First, he came out and diagnosed our system and gave us his recommendations. He didn't pressure us or upsell us on any product and prior to leaving even corrected the cause of the loss of refrigerant in our system with no charge. We currently have contractors who are working on our house and the main PM said that they could fix it for free however, the promise was not fulfilled. Being Labor Day weekend no companies were available until Tuesday to come out and fix our issue. We called Reliable again and sure enough, they scheduled us for the following day and Chris even came back on his day off to save the day.

Very knowledgeable technicians and great customer service. Seriously highly recommend over all other companies that you are scrolling through. Look at the reviews and call Reliable for your HVAC needs.

I had them install my AC in 2017 and I have never needed any major maintenance. I recently needed some repairs done and reliable was very professional. They setup an appointment within a few days and showed up.

Alex came to my place to diagnose the AC and what a humble guy... it felt like my brother came to me for help , he check the unit and fan and found out the issue and advised me to contact the original company to see if it's under warranty . He didn't even charge me with the diagnose charge!
I would definitely give him my business if the unit not under factory warranty. Highly recommended.

We had a new heater installed a few years ago by Reliable. I sit here today having a different HVAC company completely replace it. Before deciding to replacing it I had 3 different companies & Reliable look at it. When Reliable came to check the problem the tech was aggressive & gave a ridiculous quote to fix it even though it had a guarantee. Turns out there were many other issues with it. The consensus was it was a shotty install which caused issues with the unit.

These guys cut corners. They didn't put in the proper ductwork and flue size . They didn't mount the unit properly. The unit beeped and thunked while sounding like a jet engine.

Honestly, look elsewhere. Gas appliances aren't something to cut corners on.

Our AC had stopped working. Chris came over on-time, diagnosed the problem, gave me options and carried out the repairs promptly, while answering my inquiries about how the AC technology had changed. :) I will not hesitate having Reliable Standard Heating & Air over and recommending them to others.

Alex came out to do the quote and he is absolutely the worst technician you can have. He works for an air conditioning/heating repair company and will come to your house unprepared. He gave us attitude that our AC unit was on the roof similar to other condo complexes and stated he didn't have a ladder. We proceed to let him use ours and he ends up damaging the cover to the crawl space area.

While this review is mainly for the technician, the quote was also very high.
