Restaurante O Churrasco

We came very hungry, but ordered the mixed grill skewers. As hungry as we were, we should have ordered the rotisserie chicken. Several parties arrived after us. One after another, they were served their chicken lunch. After about 40 min, we had had enough. We communicated that we were going to leave. But the manager came and explained that it was almost ready, and they were about to bring out our food.
We stayed and the food was hot and good, however the meat was a bit salty. All in all, we left content. However it would have been nice to know that what we ordered was going to take much longer than if we just ordered the chicken.

Really top of the line food restaurant. Great service and outside ambiance. The chicken was truly a work of perfection and recipes of spices.

Came here after a long day in Sintra.
The restaurant is in Central Lisbon, closest to Rossio metro Station.
If you come here during peak dinner hours, do try and make reservations of possible.
They are known for their Chicken and grilled Meat along with you classic grilled seafood.
We ordered their full chicken with pirri pirri sauce, grilled, fries, clams with pork, vegetables on the side and a bottle of vinho Verde.
Overall presentation was great and service was excellent.
Prices are reasonable since you're in the heart of the city/ tourist area.
Ambiance is cozy and clean with both indoor and outdoor seating available.

Amazing food.
Low key place with a wide ranging menu that's decently priced. I had the grilled octopus and is was fresh and grilled to perfection. I would highly recommend this place.

A really nice restaurant on a side street filled with restaurants vying for your attention. This was one of the busiest that night so we figured we'd give it a try. Definitely try the whole roast chicken (you can't miss them - there are tons roasting on spits in the front of the restaurant), which has lots of olive oil and ask for the hot sauce, which is delicious.

The busboy accidentally dropped a spoon on my dad's coat, which I wouldn't have remarked upon except that he went out of his way to get some cleaner and a brush in order to fix it. I thought that was above and beyond in terms of service.

Food here is so amazing! Wouldn't expect it for being in such a touristy part of Lisbon. The frango assado (rotisserie chicken) came out with a crispy, well-seasoned skin and such tender meat. We only ordered half a chicken and regretted it...get the WHOLE CHICKEN!!! We also ordered the grilled octopus that came with sautéed spinach, slices of tomato, and small potatoes. This was wonderfully cooked, great light char to it while maintaining its tenderness.

We're coming back for lunch tomorrow before our flight home!

Surprisingly bland food given other reviews. Really more of a tourist trap than anything else. There are definitely better options close by. Nothing was bad. Just boring.

My first meal in Portugal and was happy to find it. If it wasn't for this place I probably would've settled on McDonalds.

I've never given 5 stars but this came close. I had the bacalao and it was the best I had in Portugal. Quiet and cozy atmosphere.

They make great rotisserie chicken, with spinach purée. I've been here more than a couple of times and have enjoyed the food. The service is good too. The dessert menu isn't brilliant, but you can enjoy pastries close by.
