I browsed on her site and according to her site at that time she was non profit and taking donations. Now in my head donations are if you can and will type of agreement. Not an invoice. So anyway a few days passes and mrs lucinda tells me she cant do it right now and that she had a family matter and no laptop at that point i advised her that i will cancel the resume and she can do it when she is better prepared. She immediately emailed me and said she will do it and i told her ok because per our initial conversation she was donation based and non profit. So i agreed. Then about a week later i get a long text saying she needs money because her site is down and she cannot operate as a non profit anymore. Then since i never responded to the text i got an invoice every week thereafter for 25.00. Its not the matter of how much its a matter of principle. Mcdonalds doesnt tell you from the drive thru to come inside then they change the price. The same price on the board is the price im paying and it was free with a donation if you can.
Then i get this email after the review......

I apologize to Angela for the miscommunication about my process as a Resume Writer and about my company. At that time we were considering going non profit but due to the high cost of legal fees and my health that has been put on hold. I also had to switch from GoDaddy to Shopify which we feel is a better fit for our company's needs. I always recommend to my clients to be open minded and to keep communication going throughout their Resume project. I reached out by phone and email to this client and got no response. I feel I did the best I could to resolve the issue.
