      Do not rent here they will add hidden fees when you return your car and when you question the fees, their service is less than professional.

      I was referred to RR to rent a 15-pax van for a family trip as other companies did not have any. However, when attempting to charge the card for the deposit, Christina charged the entire amount of the trip, plus the deposit. She immediately realized the mistake and offered to correct it. I consented to RR keeping the full amount of the rental. I can say my interactions to this point have been decent. Trish was very accommodating in working through some challenges that arose.

      The day I was scheduled to pick up the 15-pax van, I received a call from RR that the prev. cust returned the van wrecked and it could not be rented out. The only solution offered by RR was #2-7-pax minivans. There was no mention of the one less seat that we were losing, so my family had to adjust. We had to find 2 additional drivers, and pay almost double in gas and tolls than budgeted for having the extra vehicle.

      I arrived at the location to pick up the vehicles and the whole process took approximately 1 hr 30 min. Extremely slow compared to other rental places where you can expect to be in and out within 15-20 min or less. By the time they got through all of their processing, we were rushing through consents since there were two vehicles. Up until this point, Trish had been so helpful and trustworthy, I trusted her through this process of the consents as well. So, I depended on her stating what each section was, and I would sign as indicated. HUGE MISTAKE on my part!

      One consent was for tolls, stating we would not go through any tolls we did not pay cash for. I was never asked when booking about the prepaid tolls add-on because I booked by speaking to a representative at the branch. The toll and other options available online were not offered over the phone. I was under the impression that tolls still accepted cash and this was not the case. When I brought this to the attention of the GM, she claimed that we had an option for prepaid tolls, and this was not offered on my phone call on 3/17. If these options were required to complete the booking of my reservation, these were not selected by me on 3/17 when the booking was made. After the booking of this reservation, I was only sent a receipt for payment but not a confirmation of booking that would include the reserved vehicle, declination of insurance, and other options and dates of the reservation.

      I was told today that one of the sections was for the cleaning policy and the vehicle needed to be returned vacuumed out and rent-ready. This policy was never mentioned so yes, I initialed by a policy that was described as something else trusting that this was a reputable company and a reputable individual representing the company. We returned the vans, and they did not have pet hair or any signs that passengers smoked in the vehicles (what the consents were verbalized as) but needed to be vacuumed out. After all the vehicles had been used for 3 days. So, we were charged a $125 cleaning fee for not vacuuming. Never have I had to return a vehicle to a rental company showroom ready. I was not even told about not getting my deposit back until I called 15 days after returning the vehicle. I was sent the notice of deduction for the toll that we weren't prepared for for the additional vehicle but not for the cleaning fee.

      Ride Rental has been extremely difficult during this whole ordeal after learning the 15-pax van was not going to be available as if it was my fault. There were more appropriate options that could have been offered:
      * Contact another branch for the reserved vehicle,
      * Cover the expenses of the reserved vehicle at an outside company, or
      * Cover the additional cost of using the extra vehicle (gas, tolls, additional drivers, etc)
      Anything but the grief and lies we have been fed.

      I do not blame RR for the vehicle not being available, but they are in control of how they handle these types of situations. Not once did they state I could have received a total refund until after the trip was over as an option.
      Also, you should know that they rent out old service vehicles. We were provided a 2013 and a 2014 Dodge Caravans. I find this completely unacceptable.

      My advice to you is:
      1. Go anywhere else for your rental needs.
      2. If you must rent here, make sure you get everything in writing and trust nothing you hear verbally.
      3. Do not fall their Christian messaging or quotes throughout the business. Their integrity is highly questionable.
