Since we opened our first location in Grand Prairie in 2001, we've been committed to serving fresh, authentic Mexican cuisine in a fun, lively atmosphere. Our mission remains the same here in Addison, where we're still serving all your favorites from south of the border, including our signature fajitas and freshly made tacos. We also have plenty of traditional American dishes infused with a Mexican twist, from hearty burgers to spicy wings. And with DJs and live music keeping the party going late, we'll make sure you have a memorable experience every visit. Whether you join us for a laid-back lunch or a late-night fiesta, we'll show you a good time and serve you something delicious.

We came to this location because we wanted a conveniently closer place to eat seafood as it was late on a Sunday afternoon. We walked in and were asked to walk through the restaurant to find someone who would seat us. Fine..
We were seated at a booth after witnessing as both waitresses briefly argued over who's turn it was to seat
We were then seated and our waiter came by and took our order. He was polite and prompt, took our orders and brought out our drinks.
We ordered 2 Micheladas which unfortunately were very bland and lacked any tangy zest you would normally expect from this drink. Again, fine.. We made do with what we could and added lime and salt to adjust the flavor.
We also ordered 2 medium shrimp cocktails as well as a dozen oysters, I must admit the presentation was nice, but the cocktail was a little too sweet for my liking and the oysters were a little too warm for comfort. I asked the waitress to come over multiple times, but unfortunately she pretended not to see me. Eventually I stood up to tell them that the oysters smelled and tasted weird and that I would not eat them in those conditions. Another woman approached me as I was telling the waitresses and she walked over and took the oysters. She said they had no more and I assured her that I did not want any as I had not been too content with the taste and temperature. She adjusted the tab and we paid.
Although I am happy with their service I do have to say I won't be coming back here after this, not much because of the people, but the food was not really up to par.Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 1Oh no 0 - Antoinette Tolliver ..Dallas, TX01Apr 13, 2024
This place is no longer in business. The ad should be updated asap. I believe it's been out of business for some time now. Closed!

I've always loved Rio Bravo so I couldn't wait to try it out as soon as I discovered that they opened up a new location in my area. Rio Bravo is known for having tasty affordable food and amazing drink specials. If you're balling on a budget as my friend likes to say, then Rio Bravo is where you need to be!
This location has happy hour 7 days a week from noon until 8 pm. The specials consist of the following:
12 oz. regular margaritas for $1.79, 12 oz. domestic drafts for $1.99, 12 oz. imports for $2.49. $2.99 wells, $3.99 fireballs and jack & cokes.
In addition to these amazing deals, they also have daily deals on food (see my photos).
I'll see you there!Helpful 6Thanks 0Love this 6Oh no 0Business owner information

I'll keep it simple
Only one waitress working all the tables
Salsa and chips sucked, the salsa was not spicy at all and when I asked for something more spicy they said this was it.
The beans tasted days old, stale and have an off putting smell.
I ordered a margarita on the rocks and when it got back it was obvious from just looking at it that it was watered down and dry. I will definitely not be returning, and do not recommend this place to any true mexican food fans out there.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Malachai S.Princeton, TX992525Oct 4, 2017
I have always liked this place for the amount of food and good drinks. Now that they are closer to me in Addison, I will be here more often.
Great food, Good drinks specials and good music.
If you have multiple people in your party, you can not go wrong with the Molcajete or The Parillada.
Great service and good prices.Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0Business owner information

The service was ok , but the food was horrible, greasy
Mostly onions for the fajitas. Asked for butter was charged $1 for a messed up bowl of something that looked like butter, ask for tortillas that was another charge asked for peppers another charge. Claim the tortillas were homemade they tasted like tamales/masa .
Ordered two margaritas came in a very old plastic glass
For the large they gave us a giant plastic glass half full and said that was a large, looked funny drinking a half full glass , seemed as if someone had already been drinking it . The cost was crazy for two drinks and two plates $84
Never againHelpful 2Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Renee' F.Coppell, TX31127106Aug 10, 2019
I wanted to love this place, it is very close to my job and when I saw shrimp cocktail on the menu I was hungry immediately. My first thought when walking in was that it was a cute place, only saw two people working, but that wasn't an issue at all there was only one other couple eating. The waiter was courteous and brought chips and salsa immediately. My issue was with the shrimp in the shrimp cocktail, they felt a little less than fresh. The rest of the ingredients were spot on, the cocktail was tangy and spicy. I will give them another try, but I couldn't give five stars this time.

Not sure what has changed with all the poor reviews recently but we had a good meal with good service and the they started karaoke. Even more fun. Several ladies seems to really enjoy preforming and it was a lot of fun.
We would return again.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Jon S.Frisco, TX1603835Oct 30, 2018
Really surprised when I read the bad reviews. I work near the area and wanted to try something new. So I just drove until I saw an interesting place and I landed here. The wait staff was very attentive and the food was pretty good. The chips and salsa has 2 salsas to choose from. As I was eating it I kept switching back and forth between them as I couldn't make up my mind which I liked better!

If you have a craving for fajitas and margaritas, then this is the spot! For just $9.99, you get a huge sizzling plate of beef or chicken fajitas with onions and bell peppers. Plus, you get a plate of rice, beans with cheese, sour cream, guacamole and pico de gallo. In addition, you get 3 flour or corn tortillas. Furthermore, you get 2 different kinds of salsa with hot fresh nachos. Everything is piping hot and fresh. The place is clean and the service is good. Finally, the drinks are very inexpensive. During happy hour from noon to 8pm, regular margaritas are $1.79, flavored margaritas are $2.04 and draft beers are only $1.99. I had the mango margarita and it was very tasty. The margaritas are super strong. My one complaint is that the beef fajitas need a tad bit more seasoning. No matter, there are salt and pepper shakers at the table.
This place gets a solid 4 stars. However, I bumped them up a star to 5 stars for value. You get a ridiculous amount of food for under $10 and the last time I paid $2 for a margarita this strong, a Democrat saxophone player was in the White House. Seriously, run, don't walk to Rio Bravo if you're craving fajitas with a margarita! Arriba!Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0
