These are just some photos of the work performed. When you walk on deck most pavers make noise like they are moving. I have video of the skimmer lid they installed wrong. The one they put in was way to small could not even take out basket. Had to hire someone else to make the hole bigger and I had to buy a bigger lid because what they put in was to small. A simple measurement would have fixed that problem. Fiance had to fix wiring they were just going cut a hole in paver and have gaudy wire hanging out. When they removed tiles on side of house , they left a huge hole that I had to hire someone to fix again. They will try to make excuses show pics of the work wet but it's all an illusion. Save yourself a headache go with someone with experience to do a pool deck in pavers. I did not take down review from Google still there. Like I said they will make excuses. We have had 4 ppl out here and they all said it was shoddy work. Guess they are all lying and slandering you even if they don't know you.

First of all we attempted to contact you and your "fiance" numerous times. (We have text messages dating from July 22 to Aug 3)At first you stated your "fiance" was sick, then you both ignored us for days, finally when we said we would just stop by to address your concerns and collect the $400 you still owe us, your "fiance" threatened to call the law on us if we came by. As far the pictures of the work I dont see any. Here are however pictures of the job from start to finish.

The "shoddy" work is simply cuts that had to be made to make the pad square. And the border straight. Which we know its square because it connects all the way around the pool. Just because there are cuts it does not mean that it is bad work. The fact that is it square is good work. Next the "big" hole you say was left behind is simply where tiles under the sliding door had to come off for the new deco drain to go in as the tiles where sitting on top of the old deco. And we brought your "fiance" out and discussed it thoroughly with him prior to taking them off. We explained they were going to have to come off and that you would have to hire someone to put new tiles on because we didn't do tile work. He said no problem. Otherwise, we would have never left a quote unquote huge hole. And again the broken coping.... We have already discussed this several times. Yes we broke some coping, yes we picked them up, yes we replaced the pieces we broke and you even have 4 pieces left over. Accidents happen hence why we order extra for waste. So again thats irrelevant. And for you to say thats a terrible grout job is completely false as the picture is partially wet and partially dry. So yes it would appear that way. And finally the skimmer basket. We would have been happy to come and fix it. There was no need for you to pay someone else. Like I said accidents do happen. But we would have gladly came back and fixed our mistake, if given the chance. Just as we would have corrected any of your concerns (such as wiggly pavers, which just need some top sand ) and still will if given the opportunity. And the only illusions I see are the pictures you have posted as they are all half truths. Just as the comment that you posted on Google to begin with, but as soon as we responded you took it down. You dont want people to see our side of the story because you know you guys are both in the wrong. We would and still will happily come and meet with you face to face to resolve and issues and get paid in full $400). But instead you come on here and slander not just our reputation but our integrity. Shame on you! This is our lively hood. We are very well respected in Island Walk and the surrounding areas. We have always made it right! You simply will not allow us to! So I'm not sure what you expect us to do?! We go above and beyond for everyone of our customers including you. And we both know that the work we preformed is not worth a 1 star review. Honestly I think that it is ridiculous that we are even forced to defend ourselves publicly when we would have gladly came and fixed ANYTHING that we needed to. We even offer a 2 year warranty for our FULLY PAID customers. So it seems like you could have saved yourself a lot of headache and been decent people and met with us in person. But like I said before if you would like us to come over and address any of your concerns just give us a call and we would be happy to come by. Until then it would be greatly appreciated if you would stop slandering our name. Thanks. - Lynn Rae S.FL, FL08Jul 15, 2022
From start to finish Rising Star Pavers was by far an excellent company to do business with. Unlike other companies, they showed up on time for the estimate, provided a clear detailed and itemized estimate for the work I requested, and provided all the diagrams and paperwork required by my HOA. I asked them to come back and spray paint the areas where the sprinklers needed to be removed or relocated and they were happy to do it. My irrigation company was very pleased as it saved them possible return visits - everything was done correctly the first time! I was kept informed of the progress as well as any delays, (rain and such) and all inquiries were answered timely. Jennifer and Alex are a hard working couple who are honest, polite and a pleasure to work with - more companies should be as professional as they are. I would not hesitate to refer Rising Star Pavers to my friends and neighbors.
