I would eat here everyday if I lived closer!!
The peach margarita is a must! I really liked the salsa....like REALLY liked it. Not watery at all; thick enough for dipping and staying on the chip.

If you're a beef lover, you want carne asada. It's marinaded, delicately seasoned and completed with cilantro is like a Fiesta in my mouth.

Very small place but like what they have done with the outside patio. Location isn't the best next to the railroad track.
The biggest negative is the size of the tacos were the smallest I've ever had, esp for the price we were a bit shocked at how small they were, they were about 2 inches in diameter, this was the most disappointing part. Most chocolate chip cookies are even bigger then these tacos lol. I've never seen tortillas even made this small, however they did have good flavor.

The peach margarita was 80% ice and 20 % mixer with an orange in it, didn't really taste any peach. A $9 marg with so much ice it took several attempts to get the straw to reach the bottom of the cup it tasted more like whiskey sour mix then a margarita and we debated if there was info any peach flavoring so we felt a bit mislead from previous reviews raving about their margaritas. The food did take a long time however we heard one of the waitresses arguing/yelling with the kitchen staff so it may have been related, unsure. They are pricey for the portions. I feel a lot of these previous 5 star reviews may have been biased based on the experience we had.

It was the first place where we were served using paper plates, utensils and cups so that was out of the ordinary and seems very wasteful. One thing that was odd is giving the check total amount verbally and not being provided a breakdown of the bill and not being provided a printed receipt when selected that option at check out.

We were ready to leave and left a bit hungry which is upsetting after spending $50 for dinner.
We have scratched this place off the list.

Very small location but makes up for it by having an outside patio and a complete back room to eat it!
Tacos are small but good, each taco is rough 3-5$ but they have several choices. They have alcohol as well!
The outside patio is very nice, we went here on a date and really enjoyed it all.

When I first walked up to Roja the first thing I noticed was that the parking lot out front the cute red and white diner looking exterior was completely packed. As soon as you walk through the doors you're smack dab in front of the bar...great design for a taco joint that serves up signature cocktails till 11, midnight, and 1am all week. We could've sat at their outdoor seating area on the side, but we opted for a cozy table in the back room.

The joint was packed but the two waitresses made sure we got our drink and nachos order in promptly. The margarita was was flavorful and we also enjoyed a spiked agua fresca. They give you a ton of filling on top of the chips for the nachos, and it shows that the chips are made fresh in house. We got fish, carnitas, and steak tacos. All were solid, but the carnitas was melt in your mouth cooked to perfection goodness. The corn tortillas were obviously homemade and incredibly tasty for something meant to serve more as a vessel for the filling than the star of the dish itself.

We left as the lunch rush cleared out, but it was still standing room only at the bar. The owner, Meredith, thanked us for our business while she poured out four of her signature blue and gold margaritas (to honor the local high school's colors). Everyone at the bar told us we were leaving too soon if we hadn't tried the blue and golds yet, but I'm glad to have another reason to return to Roja!

This place is closed- it was the best taco joint in the area . The owners of Waves sandwich shop and this place are the same. Sadly the only place to get these flora now is a Waves sandwich shop on Tuesday's.

Ordered the chicken nachos to-go. Nice portion size. Barely could finish it all. Enjoyed it. I work nearby and will order take out again soon.

I've been here a few times now and I've had a great experience each time. It looks like a small place from the outside, but there is a back indoor area and outdoor seating available. My favorite protein from the menu is definitely the carne asada. The meats are are very flavorful and tender and the flavors taste authentic. The margaritas are also very tasty, my favorite is the peach. The prices may look a little high, but they're worth it for the quality of food you're getting.

I'm kind of a sucker for new businesses and wasn't about to miss the grand opening of Roja- a taco joint by Meredith Dean (of Verde fame). My kiddos split an order of nachos with beef. I got beef tacos, my husband got chicken tacos.

The first thing that comes to mind is FRESH. Those handmade tortillas are no joke! We also were all impressed by the salsas and cut veggies- no hint of being in prolonged storage at all. Seriously delicious.

And pro tip- the tacos come with pickled onion on top which will blow your mind. Order extra. You're welcome.

Super pumped to have such a fun atmosphere with great food so close to home!

Was waiting in the area and decided to grab something to eat and this location seem very interesting. Upon me arriving I noticed that there were couple of cars already eating, drinking and chilling outside by their cars due to "covid-19" so figure had to be good. Called ahead and had some chicken, carnitas, and Asian BBQ tacos and have to say wasn't disappointed. Didn't have to wait long for my meal. The chicken tasted normal but the Asian BBQ was unique in a good way. I do have to say the carnitas was different than what I'm used to; it was sweet and tangy but overall pleasing to eat wish it had some heat to it. Like that all additional toppings was provided separate but would of love me some more limes. The tortillas was great to see it was freshly made but was a bit confused on why there was some corn chips on them. Wouldn't mind returning to this location.
