Crissy S.Monterey, CA8466Mar 7, 2021Jennifer was amazing. I felt like I got a crash course on my own skin in addition to the medical-grade treatment. She truly cares and it shows.
I felt safe with the COVID precautions and felt like she really listened. I will be going back for many more sessions!

I am happy with the MicroNeedling treatment. Jennifer is knowledgeable and friendly, and I also reached on to the after-treatment care. This is my first treatment. I will go back for a second treatment in 4 weeks. I will update the result next review

Having everything explained is wonderful and its such a great value....especially if you are able to catch one of the Groupons offered! Definitely jump on that - you won't regret it. She really tailors your experience to your needs.

Aug 7, 2016Previous reviewPhenomenal...her facial...the products....the effectiveness... The only downside to her at all is that she is a bit far out there for me but it is well worth the drive. It was absolutely amazing. I could not believe that I had a microderm and chemical peel with my facial for $39. She really cares about your long term facial needs and skin care as well.

I felt that Jenny worked on my face for maybe a total of 15-20 minutes, and the rest was her talking and/or leaving me lying in the room by myself. Then, when it was over, which I was a little surprised it was cause how short the service felt, she gave me a dry erase marker, for me to write positive things about myself at home, almost a gag gift and pretty much told me my service was done. I was about to leave with the towel wrap around my head and asked her, "did you need this back?" And she just giggled and said, "oh yea, you don't want people out there to see that you just got a facial", something in that manner. And then I had to ask her what I should do with my face cause she practically left my face with clear sticky stuff.
It was just a very interesting facial. She was very knowledgeable, and felt that my experience was more informational than an actual facial. Never experienced it in that way.

I am so sorry to hear that you were not 100% happy, it sounds like you wanted to do a treatment other then the one you told me you wanted to do?
On everyone’s first visit we describe the 2 treatment styles we offer, one focusing on going deep and creating results a “med spa” style.
The other focusing with relaxation a “day spa” style, I always describe both styles and then let you the patient choose what you would like.
We also talked about required restricted activities for after to stay safe in the recovery process.
We went over the responses that each of the treatment options can cause your skin to have: redness, flaking, sensitivity etc.
The Med spa treatment we offer goes just as deep & in some places deeper then laser, that is why we have patients leave with a protective gel layer on the skin. We talked about all of those things that’s why it took a minute of communication together, like you noted.
The “med spa style” takes 15 - 20 minutes of enzyme and prep exposure to be ready to go that deep, this is always explained before EVERY 1st time treatment so you can decide what you want.
Similarly to laser and other med spa techniques that go into the hypodermis, it is a quick pace for the purpose of keeping your erythema and edema responses controlled. You will notice this consistently through all deep techniques in the med spa world.
You are always welcome to keep the headband after treatment though when you offered it back, I was trying to make light of it because you seemed to be put off or bothered that it was left on .. my apologies?
On your first time in, especially if you have not done spa or med spa treatments before it can be a lot of information to go through. It is necessary for everyone to understand what they are having done and what will happen during the treatment as well as the requirements after, to keep everyone safe. I hope you can understand these are state requirements & regulations for all advanced, medical and master Aestheticians.
We talked about each of the steps for both options before you chose the treatment you wanted, that is why I am surprised to hear you did not know what to expect and seem confused or unhappy by the process of the treatment you chose.
It seems after all that effort it would have been nice for you to be able to identify what you do want and vocalize your wants and needs while in the spa instead of voicing them afterwards in the form of a complaint on a 3rd party review system, but at least we know there is a simple solution!
I am sorry for any confusion that happened during our session that lead you to be unhappy.

I am not trying to be petty but I felt I should also address your comment about the marker.
I always offer a dry erase marker because I LOVE to help people change their skin for the SOLE PURPOSE of improving how everyone see’s and thus feels about themselves. In hope, that my patients will be able to see more of their own beauty. When we forget the true reasons spas exist we miss out on the most powerfully positive benefit.
It is my genuine effort to help others by offering this small thought and mirror marker and is not meant as a “gag gift” .. it seems we truly failed to have a connection if that is how you perceived it. I am deeply regretful that it was a burden for you instead of a gift!

Incredible. I've never had collagen/micro needling before and loved the transformation I watched my girlfriend's skin go through. I never thought I could afford it or that it was a good use of my time.
Holy moly, I'm so so so grateful for Jennifer!!! She is incredibly skilled and cares so deeply about giving!!! My skin has been damaged by my lack of care for the last 39 years. After my very first appointment I saw insanely positive results within a week!!! I kept craving the days to move faster so that my skin would be ready for another collagen therapy!
I cannot say enough good things about this woman, her expertise and her heart!!!
Her new place is the cutest and I'm so happy for her!!
I've packed my winter months to get as many as my skin would allow before the sun would be impossible to avoid and after 4-5 rounds my skin is transformed and is so healthy!!!

BUT the better news is that every other appointment is 60 minutes for $39.00. No joke. No gimmicks. No pressure.
And she is a Medical Licensed Esthetician. That means she can give medical grade treatments and products and is SO KNOWLEDGEABLE. She recently relocated but she's been doing facials & treatments for 13 years.
So right now she is a hidden gem .
