Roxana's Cakes

Ordered my wedding cake from this bakery and it was the worst mistake ever, more than 75% of the cake was thrown away. Couldn't even save the top piece for a year later.

One of the best cupcakes I've had, the bread is perfect and my favorite is the filling and frosting is just perfect, unlike most cupcakes, not a lot of sugar. These are top cupcakes and very cheap. great customer service!!

Unfortunately I was very disappointed with the cake that was made for my baby shower Sept 2015. First, I paid 300 for a tiny cake that barely fed 50 people when I specified that I needed a cake to feed 80. Secondly, the fondont job on the cake was done very poorly. The cake was basically inedible, the fondont was so hard we could barely cut through the cake and the inside of the cake was dried out as If the cake was made a week before and left out to dry up. I was so disappointed and so were my guest. The cake went to waste! I do not think it is fair that I paid $300 for a cake with that kind of result. On top of all of this I reached out through email and phone calls and was completely ignored!! They were very responsive when they wanted to get my money but when they messed up and provided garbage work and product they decided to not respond at all or pick up my phone calls. A waste of my money and I recommend no one use these people and their horrible service!!! To top it all off the baby in the shell was suppose to be a brown caramel color baby and they put a pale white baby

While everything they create is beautiful & delicious my only word of warning would be: GET EVERYTHING IN WRITING OR VOICE RECORDED. While you may think you hear "FULL REFUND IF CANCELLED WITHIN 30 DAYS OF THE EVENT, YEAH SURE, NO PROBLEM" & then be all confident so you sign the agreement, but if something happens like the person the party is for has a stroke & you want a refund - Roxana Cakes will quickly pull out the agreement which actually says you "get the full price refunded thru store credit" So you're paying for a service that you cancelled & did not receive but they will not give you your actual $ back?? SEEMS WRONG/BORDERING SHADY. Like if I give a car mechanic $100 in cash to put in a new battery & before he pulls my car in shop & before he ordered the battery I say "never-mind, I just bought one at Costco" ANY business who did no work & did not deliver what you paid for would give you the $ back.. So I'm just putting it out there- SO BUYER BEWARE!.. Partly my fault for listening to words instead of reading the tiny fine print I guess..

This place is absolutely horrible. They completely robbed me of $700+ and I cried at my baby shower because of them. I wanted a big beautiful cake, instead I got a small rushed low quality one. The sign at the bottom of the cake was on the side instead of the front of the cake. It was obvious they rushed my order. They said they do not copy cakes but the cake looked nothing like the one I asked for. I asked for red velvet cake pops, they gave me vanilla. The cake pops nor the cup cakes resembled the design either! When I contacted the owner she was rude and nonchalant to my situation. She began to yell saying I could take her to civil court. She wasn't this mean when she was taking my $700+. I continue to express my concern and she kept brushing me off and hung up on me.They had no sympathy of robbing a 9 month pregnant woman! Don't believe me see for yourself, below I provided a picture the top three pictures was what I asked for and the bottom was what I received. RUN AWAY FROM THIS PLACE THEY ARE THIEVES!

Absolutely AWFUL. We planned a sweet sixteen cake for my sister with a planner and were very happy with the plan. Unfortunately that is where our satisfaction ended. The cake arrived to the banquet hall SPLIT IN HALF! After paying $600 for a cake, the minimum expectation is that the cake is in tact. After seeing this, I immediately called Roxana to let her know, and see what the solution was. Roxana was by far the rudest person I have ever spoken to. Even though I explained to her that I was extremely disappointed but just looking for a solution as the party was in 3 hours, she was screaming at me about some contract that once the cake leaves her shop it is not her responsibility. I was shocked that someone would speak to a customer in such a manner. Not only was she screaming, she never once had the decency to apologize. What kind of a woman can essentially ruin a girl's sweet sixteen cake and not even care?! Needless to say, I hung up and had to stick flowers in the cracked portion to make do. Not only was the cake split in half, no one ate the cake because it was so dry and was cracking-not exactly a desirable trait in a red velvet cake.

Bottom line-AVOID AT ALL COSTS. You are much better off ordering a cake from Shoprite(which I have done for my parent's anniversary-beautiful three tier cake with three different flavors on each tier) for $300

Although I chose them to do my sister's 40th birthday cake because their cakes on the site looked amazing, I was not a happy camper. I sent them a picture of the cake and cupcakes I wanted and just wanted to change the colors. I had a logo I wanted to incorporate in the cupcakes only, which they did but the cake itself was supposed to be exact. Not sure what they were thinking doing their own thing. Of course they blamed me saying I gave the girl a different description over the phone. I mean I sent everything in an email, why would I change my mind over the confirmation phone call? Why would I send you a picture of the cake I want for you to make it completely different? It was prepaid and I had no choice due to no back up to take the cake but that will be the last time I travel all the way to Jersey for a screw up. I could have gone local for that.

So disappointed with this place cake and service. I hired this place for a birthday party, the cake was not what we agreed. She puts PAPER on the cake people and is not edible. I got a piece of cardboard with the cake design pasted on top. It was the by far the most disgusting design ever. This actually happened to a friend of mine two weeks prior to my event, but i refuse to believe until I got it too. She doesn't own up to anything and pretends to be someone else when you call her and she will not return calls back. Her cakes are not what she designs and verbally discusses. Her cakes are rather on the expensive side and does not deliver quality. Save yourself headaches and disappointments, do not go to this place.
