I had an exceptional experience at this auto body shop, where Gary worked his magic on my 2022 Tesla Model 3. He flawlessly repaired the front passenger corner, leaving it looking as good as new. The quality of the paint job is so impressive that you'd never know any work was done. On top of that, the pricing was fair. Gary's expertise and attention to detail make him a trustworthy choice for anyone in need of car repairs. I highly recommend this shop for top-notch service and results!

The vehicle came out better than expected. In the past they have done some large jobs, and once again I'm very impressed. They did some polishing buffing a detail. I called Royal Auto Body shop fifteen minutes before they closed because I had just gotten out of work and noticed my splash shield was dragging on the pavement underneath my car. I had an hour and a half drive home and didn't want to leave it dangling, so I found the closest auto shop and Anthony said to bring it on over.
I arrived only five minutes before they closed and he worked on it for maybe ten minutes and fixed it up. AND HE DIDN'T CHARGE ME A DIME! Unfortunately, my experience was not a positive one. I decided to pick a shop out in the area where I grew up instead of using my car insurance's options. I saw the great reviews for this location and called them to see if they could take my car in. They did not have availability initially but a space opened up and they took my Honda in. Communication was mostly done with the office manager (Welby) of the location. Due to the time of the accident they kept pushing back the date of return. Parts were on back order and so my car spent a little over 2 weeks in the shop. I was running out of days left on my rental & insurance wasn't willing to extend it. When I was finally able to pick up my car I came by late afternoon (MY MISTAKE) I noticed a weird sound coming from the driver side. I took it back for them to look at and they said it was the rubber seal that was not placed properly. I took it home & had a family member look at it. That is when they pointed out the terrible paint job and sloppiness of the work entirely. Pictures do not even show the ridges and paint chips all over the area that was hit. Not only this but the rocker panel still had red paint from the car that hit me even after the "repair." Keep in mind they tried to say I damaged this when I took it home yet the other side that was never hit was perfect. I called and the owner offered me a partial refund which he later took back over email and threatened me with lawyers. If the owner could've taken accountability and had been honest perhaps I wouldn't have been so upset about the entire situation. He wouldn't hear me out and brushed me off several times. If this isn't a sign to run far away from this place I don't know what is. Look elsewhere as I should've.
I am responding due to the terrible accusation and false information that is being put out by the owner and his office manager. All of the pictures minus one are after the car was returned to me. This was to show anyone reading this review the before and after! The one with the dent and various scratches was prior to their work. I have attached the date and picture of the voicemail where Gary himself offered ME a refund for everything so he would not "have to deal with me anymore." He told me he would compensate me as long as I did not contact them back. When I heard the grotesque voicemail I wrote an email to him 3 days later letting him know that I would consider what he had offered on his behalf and do just what he had asked. THEN he proceeds to go back on his word. NEVER did I mention an amount of money like he stated so I'm not sure where he's getting that from. CAUGHT IN A MASSIVE LIE. Secondly, My insurance handled everything and then billed the person responsible so if you're going to respond to my HONEST review please do so with FACTS! If I didn't see every detail understand that I am not the person running a car business and did not know what to look at. If I noticed work that was sloppy it was thanks to individuals in my life who knew what was wrong with the vehicle after it was given to me. You all took advantage of the fact that I am a young female and didn't have knowledge of how to check for any discrepancies in the work. I am sick of this unprofessional business and their lies. I would never do such a thing. I have been clear about my concerns the entire time my car was with their shop and when it was returned to me. I had valid concerns and they gave me bluff almost every. Hello Stephanie- thank you for your review. We will try to address your concerns one by one here again.
1- You sent us an email after we addressed all your concerns stating that if we give you $5000, we would never hear from you again. We informed you that since what you were trying to do is considered insurance fraud, we would have to involve our lawyers and that was when you decided not to pursue the matter. Rest assured our lawyers are here to work with you anytime you feel the need to revisit the case.
2- you returned after 5-6 weeks claiming the rocker panel was not replaced and there was red paint on it. We showed you the invoice and explained that any complains should be raised immediately so we can address them in a timely manner. You also went to the very same Honda dealership that we purchased the parts from and they confirmed that original and brand new parts were installed on your car. Insurance adjuster also confirmed the same. The pictures that you have posted are pictures from before repairs and not after.
3- You never used your insurance since you were not the party at fault. We offered you one time free rental and paid for your gas as well because we always try to go the extra mile to keep our clients happy. Due to Covid situation and supply chain issues, the parts were on back order hence the reason it took longer than normal to complete the repairs.
4- You came to the shop twice and we addressed your concerns which included removing the seals from the brand new parts and reapplying the seal only because you were not happy with the quality of the original and brand new Honda products. Again Honda dealership informed you that all Honda parts of the same make and model, come with that particular seal and quality and there was nothing that could be done. However we managed to redo the factory job just to keep our client satisfied.

My 2020 750i was significantly damaged in the front when I avoided hitting a deer in December. Gary at RAB did everything to get the parts as fast as he could and did. In the end, the car looks beautiful as it never happened. Color matched perfectly!

10/10.. A+.. Welby was great in communicating what was going on; The shop did an amazing job. Royal Auto Body worked with the Insurance company, got me into a Rental, squared everything away and my car was ready before I even knew it. Repaired, Shiny.. Better than before!

Royal Auto Body is my go to body shop. I was involved in a small accident where someone hit my rear bumper causing minor damage. I tried several other body shops but couldn't get an estimate for weeks. Drove over to Royal and Gary did an estimate on the spot. Although there was a problem getting the parts they worked with the insurance company to solve the problem. I picked the car up and everything looked great.

Amazing quality! Excellent value! Outstanding customer experience! Gary is a masterful artisan -- he is meticulous, careful, and the quality of his work rises to the level of being art. It's uncanny, but Gary restored our car back to its original showroom brilliance. Welby is simply phenomenal at customer engagement -- he went above and beyond working and advocating directly with our insurance company on our behalf to make the whole process easy. The entire Royal Auto Body team has a great vibe and collaborate well together to deliver good outcomes and an incredible customer experience. In my humble opinion, this is text book example of how an excellent business operates -- they deliver more value than what they actually charge. We drove away from their business delighted!!

Came into Royal Autobody and spoke with Gary about doing custom bodywork (1M conversion) and paint on my BMW 135i. Gary did an amazing job with the whole conversion. Body work and paint looked like it was straight from the factory! Not a lot of shops in the NOVA area would take such work, but Gary knows his stuff and is very experienced. Great bodyshop, friendly owner and staff, and very reasonable price. Royal Auto body is definitely my Go-To shop for all future bodywork.
