Delicious vegan food with the absolute friendliest and personable owner! He made the whole experience memorable. You can tell he's passionate about his food and community with how willing he is to speak about it.

The restaurant is convenient located in downtown Bellingham. It's bright and open inside with a nice selection of vegan merchandise (groceries, gifts, shirts, etc).

This is a must stop for all your plant-based eats! I will definitely come back.

Okay, so I received the news from my manager, since I talk about this place so much, he even reached out. What in the living heck! Sage Against the Machine and V Go's. What!? I was in shock, went to V Go's asap! After stuffing my face with one of their many delicious meals. Along with buying dinner for that night, and desert, of course!

I moved here almost 6 years ago, found their truck just in time, I was trying so hard to be vegan, but didn't think the food could taste so good! Along with the flavors, textures and all around delicacy of how it is presented.
I am truly shocked this is happening to this beautiful couple and truly awesome Truck/Store/Restaurant.

The Art in this place is a whole other issue, oh my, they have found some beautiful artist to decorate the walls with. So helping the community is also something these two strive to do! From the Veg Fest to Art for locals!
We can not let this happen. I will post and write and reach out...

I am still in shock. And if I feel this way, I can't even imagine what Tara and Nate are going through.
I have love for both of them and have known them as two of the most friendliest and welcoming people, I was so new to town and they wrapped their arms around me.
I will do anything I can to keep these beautiful people and their to die for Vegan food around! Please, people speak out! We have to speak up and do something!

In town for just a couple of days and when we asked for recommendations for Vegan spots nearly everyone said Sage Against the Machine and I can absolutely see why. There are so many options to choose from, it took a while to pick! I got the jackfruit Reuben and my partner (who eats meat) got the Notcho Burger bowl and we were both very happy with our food. We then went and got Mac and cheese bowls to-go for dinner!

The people working there are so chill and friendly. We found them at Stones Throw Brewery which is a great place as well with lots of outdoor space. I want to make the trip back up to Bellingham just for more of this food!

Excellent, flavorful and filling but not heavy! Loved the Reuben burger and taco salad/ fiesta bowl! Going back today! Fast service w place to sit down, thank you!!!

Went back for the Reuben burger today, side of broccoli slaw: MAJOR YUM, filling-- highly recommend!

I stopped in for a quick lunch during the week, and my order was ready in about 5 minutes. I ordered the curry quinoa bowl ($12 after tax), which comes with curried quinoa, broccoli slaw, avocado, shredded carrot, all on a bed of spinach, dressed with a cilantro sauce. Very saucey and flavourful, maybe a bit too rich with both the curry and cilantro dressings, but very tasty overall. Solid stuff. Recommended for a healthy (or not-so-healthy) meal.

Had to check out this place while visiting from Seattle.
Everything was delicious, I loved my smoky bacun wrap! The food was quite salty but I like that.
I appreciate most things are fairly healthy, with whole grain and organic options.
The people working were so sweet and friendly. We'll definitely be back next time we're in town!

Delicious vegan food! What a delight to find in Bellingham. The breakfast sandwiches were delicious. One of the best things about this is not only the vegan goodness, but the awareness of allergies! Having a nut allergy and being vegan can be a challenge but this place had everything labeled and the staff was very aware of allergies.

I Went here thinking that this place was a food truck...but was delightfully suprised when I found that it's an actual building that you can sit inside, and that I wouldn't have to take my food back to my hotel after all. The staff is really friendly and there is several options for tasty vegan grub here.
I will definitely be back in the future!

Sage has the biggest vegan food variety in all of Bellingham, you'll no doubt find something you love! The owners are the sweetest people as well! My partner and I like bringing the food back to our place for lunch or taking it to waypoint park if we're off work. Top 5 menu items to try is The classic, Curry dawg, biscuits and gravy, loaded Mac, and any of the desserts!

So nice to see restaurants serving high quality good food. Wish there were many more like this. My curry bowl had lots of raw veggies and quinoa with tremendous taste. Definitely going to order this again. My wife had the Rueben sandwich and raved about it to everyone she could mention it to. We are delighted to see a small business, once a former food truck, elevated to a storefront restaurant business with an added grocery store.
