Saints

Fantastic establishment! I was super desperate for a cleaned up quiff cut recently (you know that moment wherein the hair suddenly begins to annoy you and become a bit heavy?), and no one I called was able to fit me in. I decided to risk it and try a walk-in at Saints. (I figured, what is the worst that could happen? They might be booked out, and that will be that.)

To my great delight and relief, Jonathan was able to fit me in with Marty, and my wait time was very short. I am female, and new to this whole short hair thing, after shaving my head all of last year. Prior to that, I had long hair, and trusted only one stylist for the last 18-20 years, who rendered my gorgeous cut and color perfectly.

I felt totally at ease here. They were very patient, friendly, welcoming, and kind. I had some pictures stored on my phone to help point Marty in the general direction I was after. I am very pleased with the cut, and it turned out super fresh. The price was also very reasonable.

A couple of days later, the proprietor texted me to follow up and inquire as to the quality of my experience, and to make sure I was a happy customer. I am so impressed with these beautiful humans. Thanks y'all! I shall be back. Highly recommend.

This review for Frankee is so overdue. But I am a loyal Frankee client because:
1) She is amazing at her craft. Detailed, meticulous, curious, and skilled. The best in the biz.
2) She cares genuinely. A compassionate and caring person that wants nothing more than to please her people. Frankee is a gem.

I know that everyone at Saints is premiere quality. And I'm so grateful that I found this place and that I scheduled an appointment with Frankee. As long as I continue to live in the area, I will ALWAYS opt for Frankee to give me the best cut.

I went to Saints with a friend, not to get a haircut but to browse their awesome merchandise. A lady was cutting someone's hair at the time, and she put in the time to greet us. She was super nice and accommodating. The merchandise is pricy, but you can tell the quality of the pieces is top-tier. Saints have a great vibe. I recommend that anyone who wants to get their haircut or buy some of their super cool mechs do so. It was such a great experience, even though we were only in Saints for a short time. No complaints. 10/10

If you are reading this as your opposing thumbs begin to nervously sweat, hoping to find a barber you can trust, Saints might be THAT bitch.

As you know, it's particularly hard to find a barber that gives an amazing hair and beard cut.

IMO, Frankee is the best. She's super chill, easy to talk to, but also comfortable in silence.

Let's ground ourselves for a second: This is an expensive cut. For beard + hair, I'm at $100 before tip. But, for me, and perhaps you, the peace of mind of an A+ job is worth it.

As far as overall customer experience, parking is plentiful and within a few minute walk through a neighborhood and there's an app that makes scheduling easy.

I usually don't post reviews on Yelp, but you all have to know about thee sickest haircut I just got last week.

I was on the westside and had time for a cut. After a quick search on instagram, I found Saints and headed over.

I was seated by one of the barbers, Frankee. I am so lucky I got her. I got such a hip, clean, quality haircut, I cant freaking believe it.

She is amazing. A pro in the ways of men's hairstyles. Go and see for yourself. If you have a wedding, date, interview or anything else important coming up, book an appointment with Frankee. You will look fly.

I didn't know what I wanted and she helped me talk it out. So sick. Go and book and appointment before she gets too popular!

I couldn't get an appointment with my regular barber in time for an important event, so I made an appointment here at the last minute. Literally made an appointment on Saturday night for Sunday morning.

I'm always a little hesitant walking into a barber shop as a woman. I prefer someone who can handle my short hair, but a lot of shops are tailored towards men.

I had absolutely no reason to be concerned. Everyone was incredibly kind and friendly. They allowed my girlfriend to sit in an empty station and made sure she had water to drink. Jay was very attentive and asked the right questions to make sure that I loved the cut in the end. I don't live in the area, but if I'm ever out there again and in need of a cut--I know where I'm going.

Tldr; Jay is awesome. Everyone is nice. Short haired girls welcome.

It was a really expensive haircut. Mediocre at best. I don't mind spending a lot for a good haircut , mind you. But this was meh. Not really worth it IMO.

J cut my hair today and was very professional and did a great job! I had a hair transplant surgery recently so I was nervous but I'm feeling and looking great! will be back for my next cut!

It's a bummer to write this. I honestly don't leave yelp reviews and never have...

I'm a MDR local (living about a mile from this shop) and have frequented the shop multiple times over multiple years.

Two issues...

(1) They seem to be losing their barbers. I've rarely had the same barber twice, not because they haven't been doing great work, but because the barbers I've chosen often leave and then text me about alternative locations. This seems to be a red flag.

(2) We had a COVID case at work today. Not a huge deal, but I also don't openly walk into public areas after being in close contact with a positive COVID test. At least until I know I am negative. I tried to reschedule the appointment (not cancel, reschedule) and the owner of the shop accused me of lying. He said it's 2023 and the excuse isn't real. This is an egregious concern for a business that brings their clientele so close to their employees, to the extent that their employees are physically touching their clients.

Needless to say, I won't be returning.

Love it here, been going for years, Frankee is the best and always gives top notch cuts and beard trims. Big fan of the hot towel. Highly recommend.
