Salty Endeavors

We had a great experience with the crew from Salty Endeavors. Our kids did a PADI refresher to start out and, Freddy was our guide for three days of diving in Cozumel. He was conscientious, aware of our family desire to see great sights. The boats were quality with no issues whatsoever, and the captains were on the ball picking us up after each dive. Very competitive price and small dive groups made the experience enjoyable for us. It didn't feel like a factory experience more like a personalized experience.

Cannot recommend Salty enough. We chartered a private boat for 5 days and had Martin as our guide. Martin was an EXCELLENT guide. He was great with one of the new divers on our boat, super intelligent and takes safety seriously. Not to mention he's hilarious.. our trip was all smiles :) Each of the boat captains were great too. Henry was super responsive with any last minute needs to make sure each of us had an amazing dive experience.
We can't wait to come back sometime and will definitely book through Salty again.

We didn't know what to expect when we were choosing a dive shop on Cozumel but we got so lucky with Salty Endeavors. They run very small boats (4-8 people) and pick you up from whatever dock is closest to where you are staying. Their divemasters Eduardo, Jose, and Francisco are truly fantastic and very attentive to each individual diver's needs. They even helped me get my camera settings dialed in on the surface interval. They were also very attentive to which dive sites we had already dove on our trip and made sure we got to all the sites we were most excited to see before our last dive and that we didn't have repeats. All in all 100% recommend Salty Endeavors and we will keep coming back time and time again!

I will admit, I have known the owner for a number of years.. But that doesn't take away from the fact that this is a top notch dive center!

We started diving with Salty Endeavors 5 years ago. On our first trip I did my AOW certification, and my GF got her OW certification. Without Henry's patience, I'm not sure my GF would have gotten thru her OW cert. We average 2 dive trips a year, and have been back to Cozumel to dive with Salty Endeavors SEVEN times since our first trip.

Why do we keep returning? In a nutshell, well maintained gear (even though we own our own, it shows you something when the center takes care of their gear), small groups in small, fast boats (none of those cattle boat crowds!), and a staff that is second to none. You can see they truly enjoy their jobs, and they are happy to show you all the small things you might normally not see. Finally, they are all passionate about the oceans, and their health! I always learn something new with them, despite the fact that I have gone on to complete my Rescue Diver, my Divemaster and my Open Water Instructor level courses!

For these reasons, I return to Cozumel and exclusively use them as my dive center. When you find one that fits this well, why bother looking elsewhere?

This was a great shop to work with, quick to reply to emails and flexible to work around our cruise ship arrival time. Henry and his team were fun, thorough and caring. We did a drift dive and a wreck dive, both were amazing! They had a nice boat and quality gear. Small group made it even nicer. I will definitely dive with this group again & highly recommend them! Was on a cruise and set up a 2 tank dive via the internet. They were easy to book with and gave great instructions where to meet the boat. Ray our dive master was great and I must say the dives were the best in a long time! We saw turtles, rays, lobsters, eels and the colors of the coral was amazing. Will definitely book with them again. Job well done!

I was recently in Cozumel looking for a 2 tank dive and a night dive for my son and me. I posted on FB and received a quick reply from Henry. I was able to set up the dives very easily, and was able to pay with PayPal. He offered to come to my hotel if I preferred to put it on a credit card.
The equipment rental was only $15 (which included everything except flashlights) and they had size 15 fins for my son.
They picked us up right on time at the dock at out hotel. We had 4 divers and 2 divemasters which was awesome. Raymundo stayed with us ( we are we are only recently Advanced Certified) and pointed out a lot of interesting things we would have missed otherwise. He also took several pictures of us that he is going to send to me.
For the night dive they picked us up a bit early ( no waiting around) We had Ray again, only 4 of us diving. He again stayed with us, pointed out numerous amazing things. It was incredible.
I found this dive shop very easy to work with, very professional but fun
too,andd I felt a lot safer than when I dove with a different shop in March. I will definitely use them again!
