Took my car for repair, it took them a month to try to fix(initial estimate was one week). On my way back after receiving it, it overheated, contacted them and the owner said he will send somebody or will tow it back as the car was not drivable. Then he stopped answering my phone calls. Never picked back the car or fixed it.

Sameer "Sam" and his mechanics are solid folks. These guys will tell you what you need to know about problem areas and not tack on any frivolous work.

It's not a fancy shop with an elaborate waiting room, but that's perfectly fine. Lower overhead costs equals more aggressively low service rates.

I had a thermostat installed by them in a BMW go bad and Sam gladly swapped that out. The part was defective, but his responsiveness was not! This is a good shop...they are competent guys.

If you're looking for a great, honest mechanic, Sam's Automotive in Sterling, VA. Only thing he doesn't do is body repair. After trying to go to Tires Plus in Herndon (avoid that place at all costs), my friend Marilyn recommended Sam. He not only fixed my brakes and gave me new shoes and pads, he charged a fair price and didn't gouge on the labor cost. Very rare to find such an honest mechanic these days. Highly recommended.

This is a great independent garage. The owner Sam is very honest, professional and knowledgeable. The work done on my Jeep was outstanding. It drives like new now.

3 years ago, I made a review about Sam. And, to no real surprise, he is still my go to when it comes to my vehicles. Regardless if it's brakes, or oil changed or an inspection, he should be sought out over any chain location. He's a good guy who runs a great shop. Seek him out!

Mr Sam and his team is just outstanding where is just a minor service or a major one ,they go above n beyond to give you a good service at great rate .
