Sapphire Hair Salon

I made an appointment with Devon. She called last minute to push my appointment back an hour. I agreed. I asked for grey cover and highlight. She fried my hair. Ends are brittle and dry. The hair cut is uneven. And looks like a shag cut. Some pieces are 1/2 inch shorter then others. She did the grey too dark. It looks like I have a brown line going across my forehead. I asked to come back and have her fix the cut. She responded at first and then blew me off. I would not go back to her or the salon.

Visited this salon for a bayalage w/Devyn. She consulted me before we started to levelset expectations and that made me confident in her experience, skills and professionalism. She meet me know I won't achieve my goal committee since my have was dark brown as well as color treated with black dye previously. Long story short she did a great job the there times I went to her. Thank you Devyn!

I usually never take the time to write Yelp reviews unless something has gone terribly wrong, but in this case I just had to because my experience here went oh so right!! I'm 36 and I've been getting my hair foiled since I was in my teens. I've had every type of bad or mediocre foil job you can imagine. I originally went in for a balayage but Devyn highly suggested I go with a foil and wait a while on another balayage given the conditions of my hair. I was hesitant but I put my faith in her hands. My roots were long & dark and I didn't see how it could make much of a difference at all given previous disappointing experiences, but once the hair dryer turned off and I looked up I was shocked!!! No heater, no hour + with foils in my hair burning my eyes, no stripes, just perfectly blended blonde roots to match the rest of my previously bleached hair and a clever plan of action to get my hair healthy and where I want it to be. I'm so happy with my hair right now.

I don't know how she did it but she is a MASTER of foiling!!! Now I feel like I've been spoiled and can't get foiled by anybody else.

I saw Devyn for a full balayage and cut after buying a Groupon. She did such an amazing job! I showed her two pictures but told her I wasn't picky and just wanted to be more blonde and keep some of my natural roots - she did just that and did it perfectly! I will definitely be going back to her!

I found Devyn through Groupon and was a bit hesitant to go to a colorist "at a discount." Wrong! Based on her excellent reviews, I went to her today for cut and highlights. She was sweet, a great listener, looked at pics that I brought, gave me her advice and was absolutely wonderful. Love both the color and cut and am officially a regular customer.

It's my impression that she's doing a Groupon blitz to get new clients who will hopefully become regulars after moving to this salon. I will happily pay her full price as a new client now.

Staff was nice. Park across the street in the lot as there are only a couple of spaces in front of the salon. Sapphire doesn't have an "upscale" spa vibe and had plenty of elderly clients with basic short hair being serviced, but I was comfortable there and will enthusiastically continue to have Devyn as my hairdresser.

I had gotten a Groupon that had the most wonderful reviews. A full balayage - toner- deep conditioner- cut and style. I don't usually try new salons, but my hair dresser was out of the country and I needed it done.
I made an appointment, the day came and my phone rang. The girl asked if I could bump my appointment time up two hours, I did have something I needed to do but I said ok and rescheduled my other errand.
I arrived she took me right away but, she looked so..... unenthused? I told her what I wanted and she went to work...again, look on her face the entire time was "let's get through this" I guess the reason she moved my appt up was that someone canceled and if I came early she could leave early! Glad I could help , guess she didn't really appreciate it though because her tone with every word out of her mouth just made me feel like she was SO pissed she was doing my hair. Well I think I figured out why , ide mentioned her glowing reviews on Groupon and that's when she said " ugh ... Groupon, yea I keep meaning to take that down" gotcha! THATS why your pissed, cuz I didn't pay full price. Well I got what I paid for I guess, I knew that day that I wasn't going to walk in a brunette and walk out a blonde, this was my step one to lightening my hair. I was well aware that I wasn't going to walk out of the salon with shiny platinum locks, but I still feel like if I had paid full price and not gone with Groupon she would have been more pleasant and I would have had better results with my hair. My balayage pulled very brassy and very red and the toner really didn't do much to fix it and she just kinda " oh well , maybe next time" also pretty sure she skipped on the deep conditioner. You can assume I went back to my hair dresser for the rest of my blonde journey . And in my first visit with my regular hair dresser going I was still very dark, probably a level 5 and my girl brought me to a 7 , ashy and beautiful. The bleach started to pull red for her too but she took the time to wipe it off and reapply more. The toner worked great but she left it on a little extra time to be safe, my hairdresser took the time to meet my needs, and one appointment at a time got me to a full head of HEALTHY blonde hair. I was very disappointed by sapphire

I've been going to Sapphire Hair Salon since Julie started working there - she is the BEST!!

The salon itself if cute and clean. The waiting area is comfortable with plenty of material to browse. When I call to make my appointments the receptionist is always very friendly.

Going in for my appointments I never have to wait - Julie is always ready for me. She is friendly and sweet and, most of all, gives me a great cut. I have long hair that is naturally wavy and I like to wear it straight. I'm always hesitant to tell a stylist that I want "long layers" because I've ended up with some seriously bad cuts with way too many layers, or the first layer starting way too short. Julie does perfect long layers and always manages to blow it out so straight and shiny I feel like I need to have a date night afterward. Bonus: the fee is totally reasonable!

I just wanna say that my stylist devyn did such an amazing job on my hair. I have dark hair plus I had some red in there and she sent above and beyond to get me the color that I wanted. She explained to me the safest way of going about it. We used the olaplaex treatment so my hair would be less damaged with the bleach. And she explained the steps I would need to take and to come back to go lighter. Honestly, if it wasn't for Groupon I don't think I would've discovered her or Sappahire.! Definitely will be going back! Thanks girl! Totally would recommend Devyn

I found this salon through a groupon. I got partial highlights, a condition, cut and style. I pretty much told Devyn to do whatever she thought would look good, and she certainly delivered. She was patient and took her time to do a good job, and also checked in with me often to make sure I was happy with how it was looking. After drying half my hair she asked if the color was ok, which surprised me. She said she wanted to make sure I was happy before she finished, which made me think she would have redone the color that moment if I didn't like it (I did.) I was very impressed.

Best hair cut since my old hair stylist left me who I was going to for 10 years. Devyn, hope I am spelling her name right. She is the best. I just want to thank you for staying to do my hair on Friday night in bad weather. Very knowledgeable on diverse hair types and explain everything to you while doing the hair. I will definitely come back to her for my hair cut. I would of never found her/location if it was not for Groupon offer.
