Sawasdee Thai Yoga Massage

We've gone here several times over the years and are still honing our experience! Every time is good, but some times are just great! Requesting deep tissue massage is definitely the way to go if you need some serious de-knotting, but be prepared for some heavy duty massaging! It really made my neck feel better, especially with the help of the tiger balm (which smells excellent as well- basically an added aromatherapy). I usually ask that no one cracks my spine on purpose because it scares me, and they are always respectful of that. It's a really relaxing experience and I feel my money definitely goes the furthest here. I tried another thai massage spot to compare and it was extremely lackluster.

The only downside (which isn't actually consistent but frequently is true): Sawasdee is located above a smoothie spot (which is an amazing treat after the massage) but this means that you hear blending and country music at random times during the massage. It's something you can tune out because of how good the massage feels, but it's also something I wish I could just fix with (probably a very expensive) noise insulating renovation. One day!

I recommend taking the time to ask what the different massage styles entail and then making your choice. These ladies take reservations on the same day, and often even accommodate to our needs (adding more masseuses to their schedule on short notice). We appreciate this team VERY much, and look forward to coming back soon.

Have gone here 3 times already and it's my favorite Thai massage! It's the perfect combination of Thai and deep tissue. Love the warm beds, the hot towel stretch at the end, and overall just quality massage. You can tell they understand anatomy and know where and how to massage. Will

I was body shamed here. The massage started off okay then at some point the masseuse realized I spoke her foreign language and felt comfortable enough to ask me if my parents are fat, if my siblings are fat, why I'm so fat, is it from eating American food. I told her I have an illness and I'm on medication and she proceeded to tell me to do swim or go Yoga or tai chi to lose weight. Totally unacceptable. I was so uncomfortable and angry I just wanted the massage to be over. I know she felt comfortable saying these things because it's a cultural thing but screw that, it was unprofessional, disgusting, and none of her business.

Best massage in town! I'm an athlete so maintenance is key. Staff is super professional and the massages have been a game changer to my recovery. Highly recommended.

Big fail. Never again.

Today I showed up for my 3:45pm appt and was taken into a room, shown where to hang my clothes and I got undressed and lay on the table awaiting my masseuse. After around 6 minutes two women came in and told me I needed to get dressed and leave because they'd over booked and couldn't give me a massage. I was totally taken aback. Not only had I made an appt but they had called me to make sure I would come at a certain time. I had to put all my clothes back on and my husband had just arrived for his massage as well after hustling there from work. Both of us turned away. No offer of a gift card -- just giggly lame excuses. Totally un-professional and disappointing from a neighborhood business we liked to frequent. Never again.

This place is great! We were a family of four and every one of us couldn't have been more satisfied, relaxed and happy with our experience at Sawasdee. Not a fancy upscale spa-like atmosphere but perfectly low-key, clean and comfortable. We were new to the Thai Yoga massage but they definitely exceeded our expectations!

Kara is Amazing!!! I came here a few years ago (I lived right across the street) and had a not so great start to an hour massage and got up to leave. Kara came in and talked me into staying, she took over my massage and I haven't been to a better masseuse since!!!
I've had a back surgery and re-injury of the same spot since then and she has taken such great care of me.
I brought in my 10 year old son with a kink in his neck and still 3 years later he only wants to come see Kara after sports.
Today I brought him pre tournament game for 1hr with Kara and I got a 30 min deep tissue with Cindy. I like when they dig in but find trigger spots and Cindy was beyond incredible!!!
I am hesitant to share this secret spot, but I highly HIGHLY recommend and if you have any issues or are not satisfied with your masseuse let Kara know!
It really is a gem little place and I drive up from south Orange County since moving from CDM a year ago... it's just worth it!!!

Me and my girlfriend we're looking for a massage. We looked on yelp and found this time massage with good reviews we called and made an appointment for that same day. That you girls were very nice. Continue to ask if the pressure was correct did a full body massage. One hour for $60 the facility was clean and relaxing.
