I've driven past this nursery many times but only made it in recently when they were hosting a DIY terrarium making class. It was the perfect date night-an activity and a souvenir, and priced at $5 per person (plus supplies) I felt like it was a good deal. We arrived a few minutes early and saw other attendees lurking about, a little unsure on what to do. Eventually, we found our way to the back where there were tables setup and our instructor, ready to get hands dirty.
The class itself was fun-Lucas showed us different plant options as well as items to put at the bottom of our containers to provide drainage. I would have loved to have had more time with him to learn more about the specific plants, what goes well together and how to best care for them when we got home. But there were at least 20 people there, all with questions, so we did our best and had a great time!
While we were there, we also perused the other products-specifically the produce-so we could eat some fresh fruit while we planted. The selection was fresh, and we took home raspberries, nectarines and apples-as well as a bottle of raspberry jam.
I didn't see a TON of larger plants or things for the yard-most of what I saw was on the smaller side. The staff was very friendly and welcoming. I'm sure we will be back as we grow our collection of indoor plants.Helpful 6Thanks 0Love this 5Oh no 0 - Sep 14, 2020
Some things local, other things they had no idea where they came from. ie Costco, Walmart? The watermelon and corn were great! The prices were on the high side and didn't know which items were local (besides the corn). Bought a few things but not sure I will be back.

Schmidt's Farm and Greenhouse is amazing. This is the first year in the past 4 years that we have lived in Eagle Mountain that we haven't had our vegetable plants die. In the past when we have purchased from Home Depot, Lowe's, or Walmart we have always had at least two or three of our plans die and we had to re-purchase. If you want quality plants, at a great price, Schmidt's Farm and Greenhouse should be your first stop.

LOVED this place!! When you enter there is a big fairy garden, took pictures of that and ended up buying a couple of them. While walking around, I saw unique planters and affordable plants. Went outside and asked for help to find a good plant for my mom, and the assistant was very helpful. We ended up finding 3 plants for my mom, all affordable and well taken care of. Was very nice being there,

Great produce at reasonable prices. However, in spite of their claims, none of the staff at the Farm Stand was wearing a mask today. Not only that but when I adked them to one on they couldn't find any. Guess I'll have to find someplace else to shop. A shame.

Ordered some flowers for curbside pick-up and this place was awesome. Talked to Laura and told her what I wanted to do with my pots. She was super helpful with helping me to get the right number of plants, where to place the pot for best growth potential, etc. she also selected a beautiful lilac bush for me. Went to pick up, pulled in front, called and my stuff was out and loaded in minutes. I'll definitely be back to Schmidt's either for curbside or hopefully when this nasty virus is gone to shop in the store.

I visit here a few times per year to keep my yard and pots looking great. I always ask for Christine, I find her to be very friendly and knowledgeable about all the plants they offer. She also provides great tips on fertilizers to keep my stuff growing. They have a fantastic variety of succulents and unique plants I haven't seen at other nurseries. This is my go to greenhouse.

This greenhouse is Amazing! I have been her just a few times done I moved to the area. Both times the staff have been very helpful and knowledgeable. This last week I took some pots in and asked for their help in picking out flowers that would do well with where they would be on my patio. The combination of flowers that they chose look great together. I especially loved the little fairy garden they did. I have one myself. I will definitely be shopping here for my plants!

WARNING! Don't you *dare* look at the corn! I was just at the Murray farmer's market, and was called out in front of all the folks selecting corn for having the audacity to peel back the husk to peek at the corn! I was given a lecture as to why one shouldn't do this. One should simply squeeze the corn to determine it's worth, apparently. Funny, I found a *huge worm* in one of the ears I checked - if this is so easily determined, then perhaps this ear should not have made it to market? I put a smile on and apologized to the corn guy, but really? Next time, another booth can sell me corn. Thanks for making my morning unpleasant.

Great selection of pumpkins and some animals in a little petting zoo type area. We will be back next year.
