Great food !!!! Service was the best I have ever had !!
The owners are so friendly and nice, we were treated like family.
Restaurant was clean and bright, was a little loud but one big room and a lot of people having a wonderful time and good food!!!

FABULOUS!!!!! Great food, we had the Tuna Melt and Nova Platter. Everyone was so friendly and helpful. Got speak with Scotty himself... What a delightful individual and when do you get to talk with the actual owner!!! This place gets 2 thumbs up! Support local businesses!!

My friend Rajah and I made first trip here and it won't be the last. Came from Chillicothe on the way to the airport. We both had the shmoozer and it was fantastic. Best latkes I ever had covered with lean thin slices of juicy corn beef and lots of it. I never need a box but I did today.

Came here for Friday lunch and the service was OUTSTANDING. This is my first time here and I already felt like a regular- how do they do it? Great welcoming charisma!
Classic American diner breakfast/lunch food.
My challah came out burnt and they immediately took it away after I asked for a redo.
Huge portions and great prices.

111358385Mar 8, 20241 check-inWhat a great breakfast spot! I work in Whitehall and had some time to get breakfast. Stopped in, got a table. Was waited on in 5 minutes got my food, eggs, muffin, home fries and orange juice, in 10 minutes. They were busy too. It was delicious and only $13! Can't find that anywhere anymore. This place has been around since 1989. The staff were very sweet and fast. I'm going back for lunch one of these days :D

Another delicious lunch at Scotty's! This time we ordered potato latkes and an order of cheese blintzes. We each had one and a half of each and the amount was perfect for a meal. Latkes are huge and served with sour cream and applesauce. The cheese blintzes were a little sweet but very tasty! Service was excellent and the atmosphere was very diner with decor.

Mar 31, 2020Previous reviewAnother delicious meal from Scotty's! This time we ordered takeout due to the coronavirus not allowing restaurants to have inside dining. Today special was pepper steak with onions, red and green peppers in a delicious gravy. It came with baked potatoes, rolls, salad, ranch dressing, sour cream and butter...plus cookies! Portions were ample and cleanup was a breeze!

I ordered deli sandwich/ soup combo. The sausage rice soup was served steaming hot, which to me is perfect! It was loaded with tiny pieces of sausage and lots of rice. The broth was a great fit for the ingredients! My egg salad sandwich had lettuce and tomato on toasted rye bread! It also was delicious and together these items made a perfect lunch! As always, the bite size complimentary dessert was tasty

Today hubby and I went for early breakfast. I ordered the ' Schmoozers' which is 3 huge potato Latkes with warm corn beef on top. I also got apple sauce and sour cream on the side. This was huge and I took most of it home! The latkes were delicious and crispy! Corn beef was lean and tasty. My hubby ordered tuna fish on wheat toast and it was amazing! Simple tuna was so yummy! We took half of the sandwich home as well! Great service and food.
Went for lunch last week and ordered tomato soup and grilled cheese. Soup was tasty and delicious and hot! Grilled cheese, I ordered Muenster cheese on white bread, and it was delicious! Service was friendly and speedy! Today they gave us complimentary cake.
Went for 'brunch ' with hubby! I ordered a egg salad sandwich on rye with lettuce and tomato. It also came with slice of pickle. It was huge and could only eat half sandwich and took other half home! What a great place! It is packed, parking is not easy but it is so worth it. Scottie and his wife and all his employees are great. Service was incredible. The food was so good. Scottie and the entire restaurant sang Happy Birthday to my 22 yr old grandson. It just a very nice thing to do. They do it for everyone if you let them know. I can't wait to go back.

Lovely little diner with the best staff. Definitely a Columbus staple. It truly feels like you're a part of the family when you come in.
There's typical diner food (sandwiches, breakfast, etc) served fresh and hot and tasty but nothing particularly amazing.
