- We L.Andover, MN1843Mar 22, 2024Updated review
Had another walk through this time with the owner and his lead carpenter. They acknowledged that the damage left from their crew after working on our home was done by them. Owner tried to write us off at $10,000 off the $30,000 bid they most recently sent to our insurance adjuster. (Adjuster told them they caused the damage they wont be given anymore money). He told us about this as well.
So here we sit its the middle of March 24. So whomever has used this company and had good work done I dont believe you. Anyone can contact us we have before during and after photos recordings etc......Seems there are others suing them due to their work...?.
We are looking into our options as we cannot be living like this in an unfinished home due to the damage SRI did to our home during the reconstruction. Seems playing games (no ethical practice here), with clients is their in their work ethic. Others feel free to reach out .... TBCHelpful 2Thanks 1Love this 0Oh no 0Dec 26, 2023Previous reviewStill our home was left in worse condition and damaged by Service Restoration workers than before our flooding. How is this ok? A private ins adjuster came in and confirmed that indeed it is quite obvious they are negligent for the damage left to be fixed. They even asked for addition money from our insurance company claiming the $30000 was now needed to fix the "inevitable" damage they caused while putting in tile, pulling floorboards leaving prybar holes in walls, and stacking our wood oak doors on top of eachother = scratching and dinging them all up! Leaving marks on walls and floors cracking the ceiling from placing a plastic/metal frame during mortar removal. And we have caught the project mgr in lies holding him accountable when doing so! And being threatened by his account manager who too has lied in emails, voicemails, texts! Happy Holidays huh? Well it may be time for a "deep dig" and see dates licensing etc because none were actually shown. User beware- This had been going on since July! Anyone got a class action law suit going? Just wondering!...
Nov 16, 2023Previous reviewMinnesota crew- To be updated Once their work is completed- we have been put on "the back burner" we were told due to "we have noone to go our there". its Nov 2023 started July 2023; Happy Holidays family!,
We are currently going through a restoration. We had mitigation dry out and remove mortar and we have called them the destroying crew initially; we were introduced to many including Jose , Eli the main guy who introduced himself to us that way- & who promised "we will make your house better than it was", several others different guys every day, etc. today we battle with our home being completed meaning, damage caused during the mitigation & restoration is being ignored when brought up, when shown photos of before and after... we were actually told by the lead contract person that we caused the damage, what?!, or it was there before... aw no it wasnt ! Why is there this damage only in the rooms and on the items they moved, worked in, threw around, piled on top of each-other, and the same items arent in any other room They havent been in or worked on? Disrespectful of another "home", and property. Period. They urinated on our floor, they lost, stole, threw away items We told them we wanted to use again and could have!, now we are being talked down to, threatened, treated with great disrespect! Just terribly! We were threatened about a bill due and it was incorrect because the lead guy never told the others or maybe they were calling our bluff on items We the home owner paid for out of pocket to cut down on the actual price. Whew he weaseled his way out of that white collar crime!, oh I havent told them yet of the things you paid for.... Hmmmm we did this before they started reno so how long was he going to wait?, so yeah we are left in limbo!,
We reserve & have a lot more to say with photos to back it up, as well as witnesses who we have come by daily to look at before and after work-every day of mitigation and restore.
Over $80,000 worth of water damage. Our adjuster sent them to our home initially, which was strange because our insurance guy requested Service Master.... Our ins guy thought that was odd....
We hired lead Jesses' team from this company for rebuild and restore. He promised us also "we will make your house better than it was...". Many characters have entered our home, with different work ethics, "Ring video" has been a God send! We put a lock on our bedroom door.... One worker Kevin - is hands down their most honest & hardest worker, we have comments for all once the work is completed. We will update our review so keep watch on how long this takes to fix their damage and poor workmanship theyve only had excuses for.... Happy Holidays. Obviously we cant enjoy with our family and grandkids having this company bot care to complete our contract remember this has been going on since July and now noone showed up today. We were told maybe in 2 weeks- nice!
With that, we have a lot to say and will update our review with facts and photos and anything anyone will want. Theyre not done yet, it could go either way.... 5 star or no star. To Be Determined... - Arthur G.Bloomington, MN010Nov 1, 2023
We had a fire and I call for a quote. They came the next day full of service promises. The told me they'd pack out my belongings in three day, it to a week, they told me they'd show in one day with HEPA filtered fans, it was three days. They told me they'd demolish my kitchen in a week after 3-months of waiting it was time to stop with them and move on. They scheduled a day to move my belongings back in and that has been extended three more days. They are a complete waste of time.

Don't use this company unless you have insurance to cover your damage. I was charged over $4000 for 2 extractions of water and 14 fans in my basement for 2 days. That's 2000 a day. Called company and they just sent me pictures of what they did and charged me for things they did not do. Did not get a estimate up front, just said we will see how things go. No paper bill, a bill on email with a font so small you can miss charges. Very deceptive practices and Customer service is aggressive and sent pictures when questioned about certain charges, acting like I'm being deceptive, not them.

Carl and LJ were top notch professionals. They visited our home to assess some possible water damage and were not only thorough and knowledgeable but also very patient, kind and considerate. We have a newborn in the home and they were sensitive to our needs and new parents dealing with a possibly enormous home issue. They explained what was happening in our home to the best of their ability which have us peace of mind. They took care to make as little a mess as possible but thoroughly cleaned what mess was made during their visits.
We greatly appreciated their knowledge and expertise. They made us feel confident that they were giving us the best possible suggested solutions to our issue and when they left, we had a solid plan in place for the appropriate repairs for our home.
No beating around the bush. Clear communication. Friendly and professional service.
These guys were great.Helpful 1Thanks 1Love this 1Oh no 0 - Carrie R.Coon Rapids, MN0416Nov 14, 2021
So I am gonna leave my experience for people to see and hear about because it's been nothing but a nightmare from He++ , I'm gonna say one star because a few of the ladies and gentlemen that came to our home were respectful and nice. It all started at the end of April kitchen fire happened our insurance company mentioned this business . So we have never had a fire before and decided why not let's go with this company . BIG MISTAKE . BIG . All they really did was remove trim from our window that didn't need to be removed . Megan never even asked us before she just went ahead and did it . And packed our dishes and utensils and small electric appliances away in a ton of tissue paper etc. I was told by Cassie and the other lady that they were gonna take all back to their company and clean everything .. The only items I believe they might and I say might have possibly cleaned was our items like material .( jackets that were hanging on coat hook , blankets , placemats .) I'm not even 100% that they did that . I do however know for sure that they didn't wash and of our dishes etc.. they still have Black suet on them . And still they charged our insurance company 20,000 dollars . They did hold our stuff for a few months which we needed them to considering
We fired them back in July and had to find someone else to do the remodel . Like I said ," NIGHTMARE " also at the beginning this lady Megan , never responded back or called back when she said . They didn't make anything clear to us when this was our first fire . And they never removed the suet from walls or ceiling like they were suppose to .Helpful 4Thanks 3Love this 1Oh no 1 - Anne M.Plymouth, MN06Apr 26, 2023
I called hoping for help with water that got into my HVAC ducts. Within 2 hours their service team was at my door. After reviewing the issue, speaking with their supervisor, they had an action plan and a quote. They were able to start right away, got most of the water out. Isaiah J. and Luis S. worked quickly and efficiently. They kept me informed and readjusted their strategy as they needed. They left a big dehumidifier to finish the job. The team that came back to check on the issue and remove the dehumidifier took their time, asked questions and made sure I was informed and satisfied with the job. I was! The professionalism, understanding and just niceness of the teams that came to help me is beyond compare. I HIGHLY recommend Service Restoration for any disasters, big or small.

Service Restoration of Bloomington Minnesota did an outstanding job of flood mitigation after hurricane Ian in Cape Coral Florida. This is one fine upstanding company and the employees are first rate, especially James Vargas who is a top notch individual and has great integrity!

Basement flooded in the middle of the night they showed up after we called but after that was a nightmare employee's smoking on property walls taken apart after they were told not to gaming system damaged from piling everthing from the floor on top of it then they tell you to pay and not worrie about the things they damaged the insurance will cover it . Will never recommend them to anyone very unprofessional when trying to get things resolved

Horrible horrible company!! These guys commit insurance fraud. What was a $1,000 job turned into a $20,000 job because of the damage that they caused. What was a small job of drying out some carpet turned into new trim, paint and carpet because of their negligent employee. They will cause more damage to increase your insurance claim- even if you didn't want to submit it to insurance. They continuously comment- "your insurance will cover it" even the damage they caused. If your bill isn't high enough they will get it over your deductible (and cause more damage to get it there) just to make your insurance company pay for it. Horrible company!!!

Technicians are slow, sloppy and lazy. Took 5 hours to come to my home when estimated time was 1 hour. I am so disappointed and upset. A 3 day project has taken 2 weeks and they are still not done.
